Alabama is 13 in this backstory
his POV
"Ty wake up we have to go!"I woke up to my fathers voice I opened my eyes to him as he was dressed in full marine armor "dad?"I said surprised as he pulled me up and I followed him out of our house where my mother and sister were "what's going on!"I yelled.
"The sangheli are here"he said not looking back as he said that an explosion and gunfire went off as this happened the truck my mother and sister were in drove away "dad what are we going to do!"I screamed with terror he shoved a pistol into my hands and turned around shooting at elites and grunts until a grenade landed at our feet and blew us into the wall
I opened my eyes and found my father trying to fight off an elite until he was stabbed my eyes widened with terror"NOOOO!"I screamed and shot at the elite and other marines joined me knelt beside my fathers body crying softly until the marines dragged me to my mother as we cried together.
