Leon's POV***
Wow.
That is all I can say.
When Melody took off her shorts and tank I couldn’t help but be shocked. She had one of the best bodies I have ever seen in my life, she wasn’t stick skinny like all the other girls around her. She had a perfectly flat and toned stomach, legs that lasted for days, and the best pair of boobs a girl could have.
I've known her a couple weeks know but she never wore revealing clothes like all the other girls at our school, so it was pretty hard to imagine what her body really looked like. But now, her skimpy bikini barely left anything to the imagination. What surprised me the most was that the had a tattoo, and not just a little butterfly on her shoulder, she had a one that started on her right hip and worked its way up to right below her breast. The tattoo was of vines climbing up her side and roses throughout them. So sexy.
"Dude I didn’t know she had a tattoo" I said to Ryder.
"Of course, we both got one on her sixteenth birthday" he answered.
That’s right, I remembered that Ryder had a huge tattoo taking up a big majority of his back.
"She's sexy as hell, I’ll admit that" Sean spoke up.
Realizing what he just said he flinched and looked at Rachael apologetically. To everyone’s surprise she just laughed and said "She is really pretty so I’ll just let that one slide.
I noticed a lot of the other guys watching her too, one idiot even gasped as she jumped in. When she resurfaced I saw how curly her hair truly was. Somehow I knew that her hair wasn’t naturally straight. Somehow I just had a feeling. And let me tell you it looked so much better this way. I say that a lot of people, particularly guys started getting into the pool after she did.
Losers.
Before they could all swarm around her I hurried up and jumped in. Swimming up to her I put my hands up in a ‘I come in peace’ type of way. She gave me a skeptical look before turning and swimming away, ha. I could have guessed that she would have done that.
The past couple weeks that she has been here all that we have done is argue. But in all honesty I liked doing it. It was so easy to get her all flustered. At first I tried using my charm on her but I quickly found out that she wouldn’t be an easy lay. Plus I knew that Ryder would kill me if I used her that way. So I just sat back and enjoyed annoying her. I felt a need to piss her off on a daily basis. Something about her put me on edge. She had a crazy smart mouth that normal girls just don’t have. I also knew that the way she acted around me wasn’t who she truly was. I could see it in her eyes, but couldn’t exactly put my finger on what it was. She seemed like a lost little girl to me who tried to cover it up, but I didn’t really care. It wasn’t my problem.
Melody’s POV**
When I saw Leon swimming up to me I glared. This boy never left me the hell alone. I hated how he always tried to get under my skin. And I hated it how I always let him. He put his hands up in an innocent way, but I knew better than that and turned away. Seeing a girl named Shannon from school I swam over to her.
About an hour into the party I was kinda bored. I mean yeah the whole gang was here but I just wasn’t in the mood. Lying on a lounge chair I laid back and started to drift asleep.
I don’t know how long I was asleep but the sound of crying woke me up.
What the hell.
Looking around I saw a Leon’s sister, who had a pissed off look on her face, carrying a screaming child. Leon abruptly ran passed me and scooped the child up.
“What the hell did you did Annie?!” he yelled at her.
“Look I didn’t do shit! She doesn’t listen to me Leon! I told her to stop running around and she slipped and hit her leg, but it’s barely a scratch. She is just being a drama queen” she answered as she walked away.
What a bitch.
“She’s only four” he yelled after her.
Sitting down in a chair he tried to calm her unsuccessfully. “Cici its ok, were does it hurt” he asked. Shaking her head she just continued to cry. “I can’t make it all better if you don’t tell me.”
She cried for a little longer then pointed to her left knee. Lifting her pant leg up you could see the cut. Just a scratch my ass! Because of her black capris you couldn’t see the blood but once it was lifted up the bleeding was visible.
Grimacing Leon went to stand up but before he could walk away Lucas showed up with a little first aid kit. I guess he is useful for something. Setting the little girl down he opened up the kit. “Now Cici this might hurt a little bit but you’re a mathews and we’re all strong, remember what I told you?”
“When you’re around nothing can hurt me” she answered in a little voice.
“That’s right, and don’t worry bout Annie, she’s just mad ‘cus you’re so much cuter then her” he said smiling and causing her to giggle. He continued talking to her as he cleaned her up, telling her funny things about Annie and whatnot. She became completely distracted and didn’t even flinch.
“All better” he said once he finished by putting a Dora band aid on her cut. By then she was all smiles as if the incident didn’t even happen.
“Leon please let me play with you, I don’t wanna go back inside, pleeeaaasee” she begged.
Looking around with a frown Leon noticed that there were several people past the point of drunk. “I don’t think that is a good idea Cici”
Looking up at him she looked like she was about to cry.
“ I know, what if I came and played with you” I offered.
Whipping his head around Leon looked at me with a raised eyebrow, then looked back at his little sister. She was looking at me with a shy smile. “it’s ok Ciana, if you can play with her if you want” Leon said. Jumping up quickly Ciana pulled me a long with her, then stopping abruptly, ran back and grabbed Leon’s hand and pulled us up to her room.
(Three house later)
Never in my life had I played so many kids games. I thought that this little girl would never tire out. After an intense game of tea party she finally knocked out. Tucking her into bed Leon kissed her forehead and shut her door.
It really surprised me how gently and caring her was to his little sister. For once instead of being an arrogant jerk he was an actual sweetheart. I could see how much he loved his little sister. It was actual really cute. I was starting to think that he wasn’t only the shallow person that I saw on a day to day basis. I can honestly say I enjoyed my time with him. Yes I, Melody, enjoyed Leon Mathews company.
Walking back outside it was obvious that almost everybody was drunk.
“So, um do you want a drink?” Leon asked.
Before I could answer an extremely drunken walks, or should I say stumbles up to Leon. “My man, you been missing for a while, know I see why” he slurred while looking me up and down.
“Ha, well you know how it is, can’t keep the girls off of me” he answered.
WHAT!!
Right when I was about to ape shit on his lying ass, he did the worst thing. Out of all the times he’s mocked me, or pissed me off, or even when he put a bug in my spaghetti one day in lunch, I never, ever, have been more angry then I was now.
Leon Mathews, the biggest jerk I have ever met....in my entire life.....kissed me. Not a peck. A full on the lips kiss. For a While i just stood there not really knowing what happened, or if it really even happened at all.
Yup it did, my lips were still tingling from it. I got so mad I started seeing red and shaking, while Leon just stood there with a cocky smirk. Before I knew what I was doing I cocked my fist back and socked him as hard as I possibly could. Not expecting the hit, Leon staggered back as he clutched his nose. Not bothering to stick around I stormed off in search of Ryder.
After looking for about five minutes I spotted him chatting up a blonde.
“ Ryder I want to go home right now!”
I know I shouldn’t have yelled at him that way but I was still so mad at what Leon had done to me. Ryder looked like her was about to protest but after seeing the look on my face he just nodded and headed to the front of the house without a word.
As soon as I got in the car and shut the door I broke down and cried. Leon, my biggest enemy, the person I despised most in this world, had stolen from me my first kiss.
