(Y/n) (L/n) is the name of the smartest girl in school. Growing up in a family where all they care about is good grades, (y/n) doesn't have a lot of friends. None at all actually. At school she shows confidence and acts like she rules the school. But on the inside, she is just a shy girl that wants to be kind to everyone and have fun.
But being raised to out shine everyone and only care for yourself, (y/n) could never be herself. Having to study everyday for most of the day, (y/n) is already smarter than the seniors in college. She used to love school, she enjoyed learning new things but now, she already knows everything. So at school (y/n) is bored, looking out the window every class, not paying attention. But always getting a 100% on any of her tests. Well not P.E tests, (y/n) isn't a very athletic girl.
(Y/n), bored of school, sent an application to the most academic school in the country. All though most people say that the school is used for evil reasons, (y/n) didn't care and neither did her parents. The school she now calls home, being a boarding school, is called Tartaros High.
(Y/n) was so excited to go to this school. Not because of the harder academic reason, but because it is a boarding school and she could finally be free from her controlling parents. She couldn't wait.
(Y/N)'s POV~
I step through the huge doors of Tartaros High. My usual blank face changes to a huge smile as I look at the huge front hall, filled with medieval decoration and students wearing the elegant student uniform. I walk to the center of the room and pick up a map of the school campus. It won't take me that long to figure the school out, but it is one huge school. I'll definitely need it right now.
I look at the map and find where the main office is. I make my way there quickly so that I will have more time to look around the school. Once I reach the main office I go to the girl behind the front desk. She has short black hair with weird bunny like ears. "Hello." I say grabbing her attention from her screen to me.
"Oh you must be the new student (y/n), right?" She asks.
"Yep that's me." I say giving her a closed eye smile.
"Well, your dorm room is number 21. And your in class 11A, also known as the nine demon gates."
"Wait, the nine demon gates?" I ask unsure as to why I'm apart of demon gates.
"Oh don't worry girl. That is just the class name, home to the smartest people in our school. There was going to ten when you joined but Silver, a previous student, got expelled." The girl says. I read her name tag and it says Lamy. Such a weird name.
"Oh I was wondering, who's my roommate?" I ask, excited about having a new friend. Actually my first friend.
"You don't have one. The Nine demon gates don't get roommates because they are higher up than most students." Lamy explains. I give her an 'oh' before walking away towards my dorm room.
I make it to my dorm and realize that I don't have a key. I look at the door and notice that there isn't even a keyhole for a key. I stare at the door in confusion on how I'm supposed to get into my room if there is no key.
I notice a green haired girl with a black haired girl walking this way. They seem to be having a conversation. I watch as they approach, what I think is the green haired girls room. The green haired girl, raises her hand to a black screen and places her hand on it. A light goes green and there is a clinking sound before the girls open the door and enters the room.
I look back at my door and notice the same black screen. I place my hand on it, the light turns green and the door unlocks. I do a secret happy dance to myself before entering the room. I walk in and see that the room is absolutely perfect. In my favourite color scheme with all the most comfiest looking furniture. I sigh in content, putting my bags on the floor and flopping onto the bed.
~Time Skip to First Class~
I take a deep breath before I walk into the room that could be the best or the worst for me. But I end up entering the class, staying true to my word that I promised myself. I will not be like how my parents want me. I won't put up a wall and hide behind it. I'll be myself.
I walk into the room, interrupting what the teacher was saying, as everybody looked at me. I smile shyly and wave a little. "Oh if it isn't our new student that I was telling you about. Can you please come over here and introduce yourself. Oh and by the way I'll be your teacher, Zeref." I nod to him and walk to the front of the class, which resulted in nine people.
"Hello, my name is (Y/n) (L/n). It's a pleasure to meet all of you and I hope we can all get along greatly." I say with a genuine smile. I scan the entire room and notice that the girls from yesterday were in this class. Then there were some really buff looking guys. But one caught my attention, he hand long black hair and what looked like red eyes. I quickly looked away to hide my blush.
"Well, let me introduce you to your new class." Zeref says to me and I give him a nod to continue. He then started pointing to the students and named them.
"Jackal."
"Tempester."
"Keyes."
"Seilah."
"Ezel."
"Torafuzar."
"Franmalth."
"Kyôka."
"And finally, not apart of the nine demon gates, but is the student council president. Also known as the underworld king, Mard Geer." I looked at Mard Geer and he gave me a small smile and I smiled back before I sat myself down. This was going to be one good year, I told myself.
Mard Geer's POV~
I was reading my book about END, Zeref-senpai's younger brother, when Zeref-senpai stop talking. I looked up and saw a beautiful girl with (h/l) (h/c) hair and sparkling (e/c) eyes. Zeref had the girl introduce herself.
I don't know what it was about her, but I felt drawn to her. She seemed different, not stuck up but kind and caring. When Zeref-senpai introduced me to her, she looked at me and I gave her a genuine smile, that I haven't ever done.
When (y/n) smiled back, I felt my heart flutter and it was as if butterflies were in my stomach. I've never felt this way before, but I kind of liked it.
-Time Skip ~ 5 Months Later-
(Y/n)'s POV~
It's been five months since the first day of school for me. And oh man I have loved every second of it. I became best friends with Kyôka and Seilah. And let me tell you, Jackal is one funny guy. No lie.
But I also have gotten to know Mard Geer. He seems nice, I haven't really talked to him all that much but from what I see from him, he looks nice.
But everyone else keeps telling me that he is a bad guy. And everytime that I try to stand up for him and say that he is nice to me. They all say that he is just using me, probably trying to rape me. But I don't believe it.
I mean, yeah it is a possibility, but the way he treats me, looks at me, suggests other wise. He is always so kind when we bump into each other. I guess you could say I have a crush on him.
But I do know that he can be pursued as mean. I watch him when he plays sports against other high schools like Fairy Tail High. And sure he does play kind of mean, but everybody on the Tartaros team plays mean. And he is really good at this athletic thing, I only wish I could be half as good.
Right now I'm on lunch break, roaming the empty halls. I usually sit with Seilah and Kyôka along with the rest of the nine demon gates, but sometimes I like to have time to myself that isn't consumed by homework. I walk down the empty hall, swaying to the quiet tune that I am humming to myself. But suddenly I hear my name get called.
"(Y/n)!"
I turn around and see Mard Geer running towards me. I stop and wait for him to catch up. Once he does I say a quick hello and he replies with, "Hey (y/n), I was wondering if you were doing anything after school today." He tells me with a slight blush on his cheeks.
"No, I don't think so. I was just thinking about hanging out by myself. Why you ask?" I ask, tilting my head in confusion.
"Well, do you want to, maybe go on a date with me after school?" He asks, his blush becoming more clear. I stare at him in shock, my own face turning a little pink. But the shock soon turns into a smile as I reply, "Yes, I would love to."
Mard Geer breaths a sigh in relief. "Good, I didn't have to result in forcing you to." He says, face all normal looking. As if he was actually going to do that. I giggle at his weirdness, that makes him even cuter.
"So, I'll come by your dorm later tonight." He told me and I nodded in response before he started walking away. I watched as his elegant figure walks out of sight. Once I knew he was far enough away. I jumped for joy, squealing.
-Time Skip-
I'm sitting on my couch watching some tv while just wearing my relaxing clothes. Consisting of a black tanktop and some really cute (f/c) pajama pants. I know you must be wondering why I'm wearing this when I have a date soon. Well you see, he never told me when he was actually coming so, yeah.
I was currently watching my favourite show, (fav show) when I heard a knock at the door. I pick up the remote, pause the show and walk over to the door. I open it to reveal Mard Geer wearing his normal, formal clothes.
"Oh hello Mard Geer, I didn't know you would be here yet. Do you want me to change?" I ask.
"No, you don't have to. I brought dinner."He says, bringing something from his back in front of him. I look at it closely and notice that it was a Burger King bag. "Burger King!! Thank you!" I say grabbing the bag and running back into my dorm, Mard Geer following.
I plopped onto the couch, Mard Geer following suit. I opened the bag and took out our food. We started to chow down, having small talk. But most of it was me moaning as I ate the best food in the world. (moaning might have made Mard Geer hard down under)
Once we finished up, I get up and throw our trash away. "What do you want to do, have any plans?" I ask, walking back into the living room and plop down next to him on the couch. "Well I was thinking that we could stay here and watch a movie." He says, motioning to the huge tv screen.
"Okay, do you have a movie in mind?" I ask, rising from the couch, over to where I keep the movie disks. "Nah, I don't really care. You pick." I nod to him and look at my moie disks. I look intently at all of the titles until I see one. My smile grows as I take it off the shelf and into the dvd player. Once it is in, I sit back down and play the movie using the remote.
"What movie did you choose?" He asks, 'subtly' putting his arm around me. I look up at him and smile, "I chose the new Star Wars movie. I haven't had enough time to watch it before."
"Ok." He responds bluntly but I could tell he was excited, when I mentioned Star Wars his eyes gleamed with excitement. I gave him a giggle and we started watching the movie.
Throughout the movie Mard Geer and I kept getting closer. Once a scary part happened, I jumped into his arms, hiding my face in his chest. Instead at laughing at me, he rubbed my back soothingly and whispered sweet words in my ear. I couldn't help but smile into his chest.
When the movie ended, I was snuggled up close in Mard Geer's arms, almost falling asleep. "(y/n)." Mard Geer whispered in my ear. "Hmm." I reply, telling him I'm awake.
"There is something I need to tell you." He said, his tone becoming serious. I get up from his chest and look him in the eyes. The eyes that look so scary but are filled with so much compassion. I give him a nod, telling him to continue.
"Well, (y/n). I.....I love you." Mard Geer tells me, looking away trying not to see my reaction. I smile at him, squealing on the inside. I grab his chin, pulling it in the direction of my face, forcing him to look at me.
"So many people told me to stay away from you. That you were evil and were trying to use me." I told him, my voice soft. Mard Geer's eyes became sad, thinking he knows what is coming next. "And I can't tell you how much they were wrong." Mard Geer's eyes widen as I continue.
"You are sweet and kind. Show lots of compassion. And yes, I love you too." I finish giving him a closed eye smile. I then feel something soft on my lips and open my eyes to see Mard Geer kissing me?!?!
Once the situation registers into my mind, I close my eyes and kiss back. Smiling into the kiss. Best first date ever! I got to watch the movie I wanted to, eat the best food, and fall in love with a great man that I love and that loves me back.
