Harry's P.O.V
I sat in the common room by myself. Draco had a crush on me? How would that be? Draco Malfoy, the son of a death eater, the boy who mercilessly torments me, had a crush on me? He liked me! A large grin sketched itself on my face.
"What are you grinning at?" Hermione asked walking through the portrait hole. I jumped and looked at her.
"It's Malfoy!" I yelled and she cocked an eyebrow at me.
"What?"
"Cedric was talking about Malfoy!" I shouted excitedly.
"I told you that you wish Malfoy would confess his undying love for you." She said and I felt myself blush.
"Shut it Hermione." I mumbled and she laughed plopping down next to me.
"Well maybe you should go talk to him." She suggested.
"I couldn't do that!" I shouted and she laughed.
"Why not?"
"Because what if I screw everything up?" I muttered. "I mean have you seen him? He's bloody gorgeous!"
"Why did you deny him when he asked you if he could help again?" She asked.
"Just because I think he's gorgeous doesn't mean I have to trust him. I don't trust him, he'd end up getting me killed."
"But he likes you?" She asked knitting her eyebrows together.
"Well his 'helping' could end up getting me killed unintentionally." I pointed out and she rolled her eyes standing up.
"You're an odd one Harry Potter." She sighed. "Might as well find Malfoy and tell him how you feel." She said before walking away. First I needed to see if Cedric was talking about him. So my next move was to bolt out of the common room towards the Hufflepuff tower. I made my way there and knocked on the portrait. A fifth year opened it and her eyes fell on me; she smiled.
"Hello Harry." She piped. "What brings you here?"
"Is Cedric in? I need to speak with him." I said and she nodded before closing the portrait. A few seconds later, Cedric opened it and stepped out.
"Harry, what brings you here?" He asked.
"It's Malfoy!" I shouted and his eyebrows shot up.
"What?"
"Malfoy is the one who wanted to take me to the ball! I saw you two talking at the ball and then when I was walking to the boats, he was staring at me." I said and he smiled.
"There you go Harry!" He piped. "He denies liking you but I mean why else would he tell me to tell you about the egg?" He asked and my face furrowed in confusion.
"What are you talking about?"
"Well I was walking down the hall after breakfast one morning and he caught up to me. He said that it was only fair to tell you about the egg seeing as you told me about the dragons." He explained and I scrunched up my face.
"So he... he helped me?" I asked astonished and he shrugged.
"Yeah I suppose." He grabbed my shoulder. "Go get him. We could die in this tournament and you shouldn't waste any time." I froze. We could die. I finally nodded and sprinted off to the Slytherin tower. Once in the dungeons, I ran straight into someone.
"Mister Potter, please reframe from hitting into me." Snape said.
"Snape! I need to talk to Draco." I yelled excitedly and he raised an eyebrow.
"Why?"
"Please it's important! Can you go get him?" I pleaded and rolled his eyes but nodded. He motioned for me to follow and stopped in front of the portrait hole. It swung opened with him stepping inside and he closed it. I waited patiently for them to come out and Snape stepped out first then Draco.
"Potter?" He questioned disbelievingly. I didn't waste any time; I attached our lips, kissing him hard. I heard Snape walk away and Draco pushed me off. "What are you doing?" He squeaked.
"Oh Draco! I know you like me too!" I yelled.
"What are you talking about?"
"Oh please admit it Draco! I could die in the tournament!" I shouted and his eyes widened.
"What?"
"Oh come on Draco! You know that!" I shouted. And with that he gripped my shoulders and put his lips to mine for a passionate and slow kiss. He pulled away and sprinkled my face with tons of kissed.
"Oh Harry." He said through the kisses. "I- I just realized that I like you." He told me through the kisses. "And now I can't lose you." He said and then kissed my lips. I kissed him back and then he pulled away putting his forehead against mine. "I've been helping you." He admitted and I giggled.
"I know."
"How?"
"Well Cedric-"
"Fucking Diggory." He mumbled and I laughed.
"So will you continue helping me? I don't think I can do this without your help."
"I would love to help you." He said and kissed my nose. "Can you be my boyfriend?" He asked and I smiled.
"I would love that."

"Alright so this task is what?" Draco asked. We were outside with a bunch of books.
"A maze." I answered. "So I'll need to learn anything that would help me."
"What will be in the maze?" He asked and I shrugged.
"No idea."
"All you have to do is get the cup?"
"Yes and then it will be over." I grinned. He smiled and leaned in kissing me.
"And you promise you won't die?" He asked and I chuckled. I stroked his face gently.
"I'll try my best. " He smiled and we continued looking through spell books.
"You can try Accio again or shooting birds at people or things." He suggested and I laughed.
"What about a stunning spell?" I asked and he looked through the books. He pointed to one and I shrugged.
"Come on stand up and try it." He said and I nodded. I gripped my wand and pointed it at Draco.
"Stupefy!" I yelled and Draco went flying across the ground landing with a thud. I ran over to him and stuck out my hand. "Sorry." I mumbled and he grabbed my hand standing up.
"Quite fine." He grinned. "That was pretty good Potter."
"Thanks Malfoy." I smirked and he laughed.
"How is Cedric preparing?"
"I don't know. I don't know how anyone is preparing." I frowned and he kissed my nose.
"Are you scared?"
"A little." I admitted.
"Don't be, what's the worst that can happen?"
Draco's P.O.V
Everything happened so fast. Cedric helping me realize how I felt for Harry. Harry attacking my lips with his. Us becoming boyfriends. Everything was happening so fast. But it was a good fast. Harry was right, he could die which scared me to death because I just got him, and I couldn't bear to lose him. But I made every moment together before the final task worth it. We decided not to hide our relationship. People know better than to defy the Slytherin Prince. My father... my father on the other hand didn't have to find out, Uncle Severus already promised not to tell him.
"Draco, they're going in."Blaise whispered. I snapped out of my thoughts as three of the four champions made their way in. Harry walked in and disappeared behind the grassy greens. My breath hitched as Fleur made her way into the maze. I gripped the steel railing so hard my fingers turned white. "Draco, relax."
"W-What if he dies?" I asked.
"Relax, he won't die." He said. I let go of the railing and clenched my fists. The minutes passed by slowly.

A loud shriek came from down in the arena and Fleur was being held.
"Krum! There's something wrong with Krum!" She screeched. Krum came out a few minutes later, he looked dazed. They were questioning him. He said something about not controlling his mind. He was under the Imperious, the professors were murmuring.
"There's no sign of the two others." Someone said and my hearts dropped. We waited for longer, the time was passing by. All of a sudden, the music started again and the bushes opened up. Harry came out clutching something, a body? He was bleeding.
"Cedric!" Amos Diggory yelled. "My boy!" He ran over and Harry was weeping over the body.
"He's back! Voldemort's back!" Harry screamed and clutched Cedric tightly crying over his body. Madeye Moody yanked Harry up and dragged him off. I bolted after them but the door was closed by the time I got there. I couldn't hear what was going on but Dumbledore and Snape came rushing by. They shoved me out of the way and swung the door open. Harry was sitting on the chair as Moody was twitching. Harry was thrown out of the room and I instantly embraced him in a hug.
"Harry oh Merlin I was so fucking scared." I kissed his face and he started crying into my chest.
"D-Draco." He sobbed. "Y-your father was there." He told me and my heart dropped.
"What?"
"W-with Voldemort." He cried and held me tightly.
"What did the Dark Lord do Harry?" I asked gently and he clutched me tighter.
"K-killed C-Cedric. T-tortured me." He sobbed. "And h-he tried killing me."
"Oh Harry." I hushed. I sat us down and he curled onto my lap. "Shh its okay you're safe with me."
"C-Cedric's dead!" He bawled and I rubbed his back, soothing circles.
"I know but it'll be okay." I hushed. His body shook violently for a few more minutes before he stopped crying. Small hiccups came from him and I held him in my arms.
"I feel so safe in your arms." He mumbled and I smiled.
"Then in my arms you'll stay." I said and he chuckled.
"Thank you Draco."
"Anything love." I said. "I promise it'll be okay."
"Okay." He said and I kissed his nose. "I'll always be here to help you." I smirked while winking.
"And I will be here to accept that help." He laughed. "This time." He emphasized. I laughed and held him tighter if that was possible.
"I'm just glad you're alive." I whispered kissing his neck.
"I'm glad I'm alive too, I spend more time with you." He nuzzled into my chest and I laughed.
"I wouldn't have any other way."
