I
By 1965, aged 19, Bundy attended The University of Puget Sound. He studied Chinese. By 1966, aged 20, he attended The University of Washington.
Bundy dated Stephanie Brooks. But, to Bundy's shock, she rejected him. Upset, Bundy decided to increase his violent behavior towards women at this stage.
II
By 1968, (the same year as Sirhan Sirhan assassinated RFK), Bundy worked for Norman Rockefeller. He attended to Republican Convention in Miami, Florida. But his political interest waned. He then, by 1971, worked for the suicide help center.
There he met future crime writer Anne Rule, (October 22, 1935-). Rule, a charismatic woman who wrote: "The Stranger Beside Me", (1980), described Ted Bundy, thus: Quote: (He was)..."Kind, solicitous, and empathetic", unquote.
And, even though Bundy didn't kill her, Rule's landmark book caused a sensation. Rule would write more crime books during her long career.
