I am running close on a deadline. My mom hinted subtly that I have been going out to socialize a lot more the past few weeks and this is my fifth outing within this week. While I was stepping out of the house, she also reminded me that it was five and my Cinderalla ground time was seven. Now it is five thirty and none of my friends are to be seen.
That is annoying.
And I do not want to look stupid waiting on my Aviator in front of Gelato doing nothing.
To top it off, it seems like it is an impromptu reunion and three of the social aunties who thrive on the mistakes I make have seen me waiting at the local hangout. Oh the horror! Knowing them, they would not take more than five minutes to spread a rumor about me dating the guy standing on another corner, who probably has tardy friends like me.
See, that is the issues you create when you're late.
Don't do that to your friends. Heck, don't do that to your worst enemy.
