"Daddy! daddy! daddy!" Blaine cheered as he ran around the room.
"You mister, need to calm down" I say as I grab his arm to stop him from running around and falling over, which he will end up crying.
"Noooo!" he whined.
"Then you don't go Christmas shopping with daddy later on" I tell him.
"Eah" he whined again.
"Then calm down or you're not going" I warn him.
"Tay" he sighed and played with his toys.
"Thank god for that" I mumbled as I walked into the kitchen to clean up breakfast.
"Thank god for what?" Finn asks.
"Blaine is playing with his toys and not running around where he would most likely fall over, hurt himself and cry" I explain.
"Oh, how can he be running around at this time in the morning? and after breakfast?" Finn asks, shocked.
"Don't, neither do I"
"Daaaaaaaaaaaddddddddyyyyyyyy!" Blaine shouted through the living room.
"Blaine, you need to be quiet" I warn him.
"What's the matter?" I ask him.
"'E go 'ow?" he asks.
"You wanna go Christmas shopping now?" I repeat him.
"Eah"
"No, we'll go later sweetie" I tell him softly.
"No!" he puts his foot down and pouts.
"Finn! bottle please" I call out to him.
"Sure" he says.
"No! no bot bot!" he grumped.
"Here ya go" Finn says as he gives me the bottle.
"Thanks"
"Come on then you" I say to Blaine as I pick him up.
"Noooo!" he cries.
"Night buddy" Finn smiled at him.
"AAAHHH!" he then sobbed into my shoulder.
"Shhh, come on Blaine, calm down baby" I soothed as I took him upstairs and into his room. I lie him down on his changing table and change his nappy.
"Get some sleep baby" I coo as I lied him down in his crib and he drunk sleepily from his bottle, I quietly head down and finish everything off.
"He went to sleep?" Finn asked me.
"Yeah, I knew he was tired, but I'm taking him out in a little while, because I ordered a couple of his Christmas presents, the rest I have to buy" I say, keeping my voice down.
"You can come if you want to, its up to you though, I don't mind" I tell him.
"Sure, i'll come" later on, Blaine woke, sounding a bit ill.
"Hey baby" I cooed.
"Daddy" he whined miserably.
"Aww, is my baby feeling ill?" I asked him softly.
"Eah" he says then does some really bad chesty coughs.
"Have you got a bad cough sweetie?"
"Eah" he sobs.
"And a bit of a cold by the looks of it" I sighed as he had a runny nose.
"Alright let's change you and get some medicine into you" I say as I lay him on his table and get him his Christmas long sleeve shirt with a pair of jeans, a Christmas jumper and some Christmas socks to match.
"All done" I announce, but I don't put his jumper on just yet as Blaine would probably start sweating and that's something I don't want for my poor, sick baby.
"Lets give you some medicine" I say as I sit him on the counter and go to the cupboard.
"Daddy" he whined, made grabby hands toward me and then did some of his chesty coughs again.
"Oh god, he sounds awful" Finn says as he walks into the kitchen.
"Nah, really?" I say sarcastically as a joke.
"I know he's sick Finn, you giant goofball" I say the nickname just for Blaine's sake and he did laugh a bit.
"Unca 'inn 'oof'all" Blaine repeated in his poorly voice.
"I am?" he jokes.
"Eah" he giggled.
"Hang on a sec Blaine, open" I say and he obeys.
"There you go, all done"
"Great job buddy".
"Oof'all" he giggled again and pointed to him and Finn pretended to eat his finger.
"Nom"
"Ah, no 'e 'inger" Blaine laughed.
"My finger" Finn jokes and tries to 'take' his finger.
"No! dat 'ou 'inger" he giggled again and points to Finns finger.
"Now mister, do you feel up to lunch or not?" I ask Blaine.
"On' box 'an'wich"
"1 squared sandwich, instead of 4 squares, got it" I joke to him. He calls it a box, we're still learning shapes.
"Alright, come on buddy lets go play" Finn says and picks Blaine up while I go make his sandwich.
"Blaine, lunch time sweetie" I called out and Finn came running in with him.
"Here is your stop to lunch time Sir" Finn said in a silly voice and made Blaine laugh until he coughed.
"You alright buddy?" he asks once he had finished coughing.
"Eah" he sighed.
"Lets get lunch and head out" I say as I put him in his high chair and give him his lunch and then start to eat my own. We finish up quickly, except for Blaine, who was still eating his, but I can just be sorting his changing bag out while he still eats.
"Duice pwease unca 'inn" I hear Blaine asks politely.
"Here ya go buddy"
"Fank 'ou"
"Done daddy" Blaine announced.
"Alright, let's get you cleaned up and into your coat mister" I say as I get him out and head upstairs. I change him and then put his coat on before heading downstairs with Blaine still in my arms.
"You ready Finn?" I ask him.
"Yeah, I have his changing bag and a blanket" he says.
"Thanks" I then lock up and go and put Blaine in.
"Here you go" I say as I wrapped him up in a blanket and gave him some cold juice for his throat. He took a few sips before whining, which sounded really sad and like he was in pain and ready to cry.
"What's wrong sweetheart?" I coo, but he just whines again.
"Baby?" I ask again as I put his hair back and he starts to cry and makes grabby hands toward him.
"AAAAHHHH" he sobs randomly.
"Sweetheart" I soothe as I get him out again and cradle him.
"Alright alright, shhh shhh, go back to sleep if you want baby" I soothe as I rocked him a little and he finally fell asleep. I manage to put him back in his seat and get into the drivers and head down the road.
"What was that all about?" Finn asks.
"It's probably because he's a little under the weather and a bit poorly" I explain.
"Probably" he sighs. We find a place to park and I get Blaine's pushchair out and lie down his seat and open his straps so I could just easily put him in.
I then get Blaine out carefully and quickly get him in his pushchair.
"Aww, poor baby is sweating" I say to Finn as Blaine's fringe was slightly wet, his forehead was wet and so was the back of his neck/head.
"Oh god" Finn says shocked.
"Are you gonna put a blanket on him?" he asks.
"Umm, I don't know, I mean what do I do? he's sweating but he might be cold" I say, so confused on what to do.
"Daddy, 'old" we both hear Blaine mumble, sleepily.
"Baby, you're all sweaty though"
"Old" he starts to cry as he was still asleep.
"Alright alright, shhh, here have you're blanket" I quickly soothed as I wrapped him up in a blanket.
"You should at least un zip his coat at least" Finn suggested.
"Should I?"
"I would, I mean come on the poor kids sweating and cold, the least you could do is undo his coat as he does have a thick blanket wrapped round him" Finn explained.
"Alright" I sighed and gently undid Blaine's coat.
"We ready to go?" He asks.
"Yup" I say as I finish strapping Blaine in.
"Lets go" he says and we walk around town and into many different shops. Blaine woke up a little while later and he seemed to be a little happier than before and less sweaty.
"I wan dat 'oy daddy" Blaine happily exclaimed.
"Do you want Santa to get you that?" I ask him.
"Eah daddy, 'anta" Blaine squealed.
"Alright baby, calm down" I chuckled as I looked at Finn, who was also chuckling.
"Shall we meet Santa in a few days?" I ask him.
"Eah" he says, getting all excited. My phone then started to ring and I mouthed to Finn if he can take the pushchair for me while we walk.
"Hello?"
"Hi Kurt"
"Hey San, so why'd you call?"
"Oh I was wandering if you and Blaine would like to come see Santa in a few days, on Christmas Eve with Britt and I?" she offers.
"Uhh sure, Blaine would love that" I smile.
"Ok, well see you then, bye"
"Bye" I hang up and tell Finn and Blaine about going to see Santa on Christmas Eve. We look around more and I get presents for everyone excepts Blaine and Finn as they were with me, before heading back to the car, knowing what to get Blaine for Christmas now.
"Come on, in we get" I say as I put Blaine in his seat.
"Hungy daddy" Blaine says.
"Alright, daddy needs to stop at a petrol station anyway" I tell him. We get in and I head to a station where I can fuel my car and get us all some food and perhaps another cold drink for Blaine.
"Daddy, 'e 'ome?" Blaine asks.
"No baby, stay there i'll only be a minute" I tell him and quickly run in.
Finns pov:
"Daddy" Blaine sobbed.
"Daddy will be back buddy, he's getting us some lunch so our stomachs don't get hungry and go 'roar I'm hungry, feed me'" I say in a silly voice and it makes him laugh.
"Unca 'inn" he playfully says.
"What? see daddy's back" I say to him.
"Daddy"
"Yeah baby"
"Unca 'inn go 'roar 'e hungy, 'eed 'e in 'illy 'oice" Blaine giggled.
"Did he?" Kurt asks.
"Eah"
"I see you made him laugh" he then turns to me.
"He cried" I simply told him.
"Thought so"
Kurt's pov:
"Here baby" I say to Blaine and give him his food and then I give Finns his.
"Baby, can daddy have your sippy cup please?" I ask him.
"Thank you baby" I say as he passes it to me and I fill it up with a cold fruit shoot.
"Here you go" I say and pass it back to him.
"Here's yours and ill eat mine on the way home" I say as I pass Finns drink to him and start to hit the road. Finally, we get home and Blaine goes off to play with a couple of toys that I bought for him. It was then time for dinner and bed.
"Say night sweetie"
"Ni ni"
"Night" they chorus.
"Lets get you to bed" I say to Blaine as I head up. I change his nappy and put him into pyjamas, before saying goodnight to him and heading to bed myself.
