Finally Age 10
(Name)'s POV
It's finally here! Today is the day I become a Pokemon trainer!
I'm so excited I can barely breathe!
I went downstairs and saw my mom making breakfast and Raichu helping her out.
"Morning, dear." She said
"Good Morning, mom!" I answered back, quirkiness in my tone of voice.
"I see you're early, are you excited that you finally get to become a Pokemon trainer?" My mother questioned.
"You bet! Now I can't wait! I'm going upstairs to get dressed!" I yelled as I hurriedly rushed upstairs.
"Wait dear! But what about your-, oh well she's already gone."
TimeSkip ;; Still (Name)'s POV
When I finished dressing I grabbed eevee in my arms and decided to head out, so I went back downstairs.
"Mom I'm leaving now!" I called out as I approached the door.
"Already?! Oh well, I guess things never change. Take care dear, I love you." My mom yelled back.
"I love you too, mom, and I promise I'll take care of myself. There's no need to worry!" I said waving goodbye as I exited my house.
As I was walking with eevee I didn't want to leave right away, I wanted to go to Professor Oak's lab and say goodbye.
When I arrived I said, "Morning, Professor!"
"Ah, good morning, (Name)." He answered back with a small smile.
"I just wanted to say goodbye before I left the house." I said, with a little sadness in my voice, but I didn't let it show.
"Oh I see. Have fun on your journey," he paused, "and you know, Gary hasn't left yet." He let me know.
"I'll make sure to have fun! As for the other thing, I'm surprised, actually. It seemed as if he would've left already." I answered back.
I left the lab waving goodbye, as I was walking I started asking myself, "I wonder if Ash has gotten his first Pokemon by now." I thought. "I guess he did, he's 1 year older than me isn't he?"
While I was too busy thinking, I forgot where I wasgoing, and of course. That only lead to me ending up bumping into someone.
And by the looks of it, it seemed to be one of Gary's fangirls.
I didn't want any drama going on, but she looked at meas if I was about to say something.
I looked around, and realized there was a crowd of people near where I was.
"Umm.. If you don't mind telling me, what's going on?" I asked as I tried standing up.
"What?! You mean you don't know what's going on?! You got some nerve coming here not knowing what's going on. We're admiring Gary!" She said as anger filled her eyes.
"That's all?" I said as I gave her a 'wtf' look. "That sounds really stupid if you ask me."
"Excuse me?! Gary's one of the hottest guys!" She shouted at me.
"One of." I clarified.
She was silent for a moment as she looked at me.
I just silently stared at her back. Until I processed what I had just said. I felt my cheeks heat up.
"Oh I see what's going on here. You got a crush on MY Gary!" The fangirl yelled in anger.
"That isn't what I meant! I didn't mean it like that, so don't take it the wrong way, and, what what do you mean 'Gary's mine'? You sound like a little kid. Start acting like your age." I said, trying so hard not to slap her in the face.
That, was the last thing I said before I turned my back towards her and started to walk away.
"Little brat." I heard her say.
I just ignored her and continued to walk. I didn't want to put up with someone like her right now.
"Eevee?" My Pokemon looked at me, confused as ever, but Eevee did seem a little concerned about me.
I noticed this and said, "There's nothing to be concerned about. Everything is fine." I reassured her.
Eevee didn't say anything, she just continued to walk alongside me.
Little did you know that Gary heard and saw everything.
As you continued walking away.
I did a sight of relief that I got away from that fangirl, honestly, I don't understand why she thinks that Gary is that important.
As I walked with my eevee, I heard a familiar voice coming from behind me say, "(NAME), I CHALLENGE YOU TO A POKEMON BATTLE!"
As I turned around I saw none other than, Ash Ketchum.
'Oh no, not now!' I thought, as I tried your best to stay calm. I didn't want to put up with Ash right now considering I already went through that fangirl thing, but I ended up accepting anyway.
"Alright Ash, I'll accept your challenge." I said with a sly smirk forming on my lips.
As we both started to prepare y
ourselves, Ash called his pokemon out first, "Go Pikachu!"
"A Pikachu? Well, your Pikachu's no match for my eevee." I said, "You call the first attack."
"Alright, Pikachu, use Quick Attach!" Ash commanded at Pikachu.
"Dodge it eevee! And use," I smirked, "Thunderbolt!" I finished my sentence.
"Eevee can use thunderbolt? How is that even possible?!" Ash shouted not knowing exactly what to do.
"Impressive huh? I taught Eevee that move when I was 7." I said as a smirk appeared on my lips, once again.
Ash and I weren't paying attention to realize that Pikachu already fainted.
"With only one move?!" Ash asked amazed, "But how?!"
"It's called practice." I said as I started walking away, Eevee close behind.
"Hey, wait up!" I heard Ash say chasing after me. Footsteps getting louder and louder as he started to catch up.
As Ash and I were walking you heard loud.. Giggling? As laughter filled the air, when you finally turned around you ended up seeing.
Gary, and Gary's fangirls.
"Hey, there's Gary." Ash said, pointing right at him.
"Hmmpft, let's get going." I said in an annoyed manner. First, one of Gary's fangirls, then there was Ash, and now, Gary himself?
"Can this day get any better?" You silently asked yourself, sarcasm in your voice.
"Hey, what's up?" Ash said looking at me confused.
"NOTHING!" I yelled which caused everyone to start looking at me. It was as if I was the center of attention.
Ash just looked at me frightened, "I-is there something wrong?"
"Haha. Nothing to see here." I said ignoring Ash's question and not trying to get attention. I quickly grabbed Ash's hand and started speed walking away.
"Hold on a second!" I heard Gary yell out at us.
"I challenge you to a battle!" He shouted pointing at Ash, while I looked at him confused.
"Me?.. Okay, fine!" Ash shouted back at him. Determination filled his voice.
It took a few minutes to settle out but now Gary and Ash were ready to battle.
"Pikachu, Go!" Ash yelled with determination.
Gary smirked, quite similar to like how I smirked towards Ash.
"Arcanine, I choose you!" Gary yelled as his Pokemon came out, looking ready to battle.
"An Arcanine? Since when did Gary get an Arcanine?" I questioned.
A few minutes into the battle, and now, you heard a voice, "Torchic!" It cried out.
"Huh?" You asked as looked down you saw a small Torchic.
"Oh, I see. You want to watch this battle with me?" I asked as I reached down to grab it.
"Torchic!" It nodded it's head.
"Let the battle begin!" I heard a referee say. Wait, when did a referee get here?!
