Your mind immediately drifts to consciousness as you feel the bed's mattress sink down and then rise back up again. "Michael, stop jumping on the bed! I'm trying to sleep!" It's 6:30 a.m. on a Saturday, which was way too early for you.
"You have to wake up babe, it's snowing!" Excitement filled your boyfriend's voice. You only groaned as you pulled the comfy sheets over you, making you warm. But a second later, Michael immediately took them away from your shivering body.
"Michael!" "I said wake up!" "No!" "Okay, you asked for this..." Michael warned as his hands found your sides, tickling you. "I'M AWAKE, I'M AWAKE!" You scream. But Michael wanted to make sure you really are awake, so he tickled you until you rolled over to the side of your bed and fell off with a thud.
"You're an annoying idiot." You mutter as you get up. "It doesn't matter as long as I'm your annoying idiot," He winks at you. You roll your eyes, although deep inside you can't help but agree.
Michae threw a thick coat at you. "Quick, I want to get in the snow!" You sigh as you follow him downstairs.
Once you both got outside, Michael has already belly flopped into the fluffy snow. He lands with a muffled thud. You smile tiredly at your restless boyfriend as you sit down the mini stairway in front of your door.
"Hey, Y/N, why don't you join in?" He frowns. You let out a small laugh as you pick up a handful of snow near you. You try to hit him with your snowball, but due to your tiredness, the throw was pretty weak. Michael roared with laughter as he watched the snowball fall down two feet in front of him.
"That was pretty weak. C'mon Y/N, you love playing in the snow!" He grins as he forcefully throws a snowball at you, hitting you full in the face. He laughs again as you spit out some snow that got in your mouth.
"Come here, babe!" Michael frowns again.
"I'll follow you later." You give him a small smile. "Okay." He replied, pretty convinced.
You rested your head on the stairway's handles and before you knew it, you drifted back to sleep.
It wasn't long until you felt hands gently shaking your shoulder, waking you up. "W-wha?" You asked, a little startled. "Y/N," Michael said as he sits down beside you, his voice concerned. "Are you okay?"
"Why wouldn't I---" your statement was interrupted by a yawn that came out from your mouth. "---be?"
"You've never been this tired before." He gently rubs your back. "Yeah, school was pretty rough. I barely had sleep for the whole week." You reply as you yawn again.
"Oh gosh, Y/N, you should've told me!" Michael says, immediately lifting you up bridal style. "We could be cuddling up with right now with some waffles and other good food." He rambles. You chuckle. "I'm fine, Michael."
"No, you need rest!" He protests. "Hmm, we could also watch Netflix and end up, you know..." He flashes you a mischievous smirk.
You glare up at him as you slap him hard on the chest. "I'm just kidding," He smiles softly, kissing your forehead. "Let's just cuddle up while we drink hot chocolate."
"You're the best, Mike." "I know."
