Soon enough word got around that we were engaged. I couldn't be happier. I'm with the man I love. I was in bed sitting in his lap. He was playing with my hand.
"So are you ok if he calls me dad?" Kian asked.
"It's up to him as long as he knows that Sam is his real dad."
"I get that."
"Ok."
"Ok." He kissed my head. Levi cried.
"I'll get him." I got out of bed. Kian yawned and rolled over. I walked into Levi's room I picked him up.
"Good morning!" He giggled. I walked into Kian room.
"Mommy is going to prank daddy." I whisper.
"Kian will you hold him?"
"Mm huh." I put Levi on the bed and they snuggled. I walked into the bathroom and got it all ready. I covered the stick and walked outside.
"Kian!" I yelled.
"What?" He rolled over. I squealed.
"What?"
"I took a test." I said.
"Did you pass?" He rolled back over.
"I took a pregnancy test." He rolled back over.
"What did it say?" He asked.
"Your gonna be a dad." I said. He smiled.
"Really?"
"Fuck yeah!" He yelled.
"You guys ok?" Connor asked.
"Get out!" I kicked the door closed.
"I have to tell you something though." I say.
"What?" I got right up to his ear.
"I'm just kidding."
"Fuck you!" He shoved me off the bed.
"Look." I took the cover off to show him.
"I thought you were kidding." He says.
"I am." I looked at it.
"Am I stupid or does that say positive?" I ran into the bathroom and looked at the instructions.
"I assumed it was going to be negative." I say.
"We have been engaged for 6 weeks!" Kian yelled. He wasn't mad just confused.
"So are pranking me or not?"
We ate silently at the table.
"What is going on between you guys?" Ricky asked.
"Nothing." We both said.
"Willa he's not taking the bottle." Trevor says. I set my fork down and picked him up. I tried to get him to take the bottle but he didn't want it. I put the bottle in the sink.
"He's not taking it?" Kian asked.
"No."
"Maybe he's not hungry."
"He's latching just fine."
"But you told me to get out this morning, what is going on?" Connor asked.
"I'll just go to the doctor." I mumbled to Kian.
"I'm not leaving like Sam." He mumbled back.
"What the hell just spill it!" Trevor yelled. I was on my phone looking at false positives on webMD. Kian leaned on my shoulder and was reading with me.
"You don't want it?" He whispered.
"I'm just doing my research." I whispered back.
"Stop whispering!" Connor says.
"We're just sorting stuff out." Kian says.
"Willa." Trevor said right behind my shoulder.
I turned my phone off.
"Go sit down." I pushed him.
"I know what I saw." He says.
"What did you see?" Connor asked.
"Not my place to tell you guys."
"Thank you." Kian says.
"We live together, we are going to find out soon enough." Ricky says.
"I'll tell you when I get home." I say.
"From where?"
"I'll tell you when I get home."
"Will you guys watch Levi?" Kian asked.
"Yeah." Trevor said.
"If he doesn't take a bottle just call me." I say.
"Ok." Connor says.
"Ms. Carson." The nurse called me. Kian and I walked to the back with the nurse.
"Step on the scale please." The nurse said.
"Still losing the baby weight." I said. She laughed.
"Aren't we all." I stepped off.
"Congratulations on your engagement." She said.
"Thank you." I smiled. Kian was in his phone.
"Give me that." I tried to take it.
"Web MD." He said. We walked into a room.
"Doctor will be with you shortly, change into this." She said.
"Thank you." I said. She smiled and left.
"You doing to strip for me?" Kian asked. I laughed. As I handed him my clothes he folded them. I sat in the table. I feet moved up and down.
"So you were trying to prank me?" He asked.
"Yeah." I laughed.
"I'd love to raise another kid with you." He says.
"I'd love that too." He smirks and leaned over to kiss me.
"Good morning." The doctor walked in.
"Hi." He shook hands.
"How is Levi?" She asked.
"He's good." I say.
"The bottle." Kian says.
"Oh he stopped taking a bottle." I say.
"He probably wants more time with his mom." She says. (Idk I'm not a doctor)
"What is going on today?" She asked as she put a new pair of gloves on.
"Well this morning she tried to prank me that she was pregnant." Kian explained.
"I assumed it was going to be negative." I say.
"It was positive?" She asked.
"Yes." Ok let's take a look.
"I don't see any signs of pregnancy but let's get a urine test." I nodded. Kian handed me his water bottle. Dr left the room.
"I'm a little bummed."
"It's a little quick though." He said.
"Yeah." He took my hand and kissed it. I leaned on his shoulder.
"I think it was a false positive. As Rare as it is you did just have Levi 5 months ago."
"Thank you." Kian said.
"You have a merry Christmas." She left the room.
"We can try again." Kian said.
"Maybe after the wedding, I wasn't ready anyway."
"Let's go home." He said.
"Ok." I smiled and got dressed.
"Alright you have hid it long enough." Ricky said as Kian and I walked in the door.
"Will thought she was pregnant but it was a false positives." Kian says.
"Wow." Connor says.
"Well Levi pooped." Trevor says.
"And?" I ask.
"He's yours." He held him out to me.
