Awkwardness.
One should never underestimate the fatality of it. One should never look past the injuries of spending too much time with someone too perfect, and the thoughts that tag alongside.
Insecurities.
One should never neglect the consequences of the frazzled emotions a boy can inject into a girl. One should never dismiss a crush as a mere infatuation, the normalcy of teenagers.
These emotions don’t belong to me only, you know? I’m sure everyone experiences it too. I had expected that fact to make me feel better, but it didn’t. Because we’re all hell-bent on being strong, we isolate ourselves in a miserable attempt to delude ourselves. I was lonely.
First Love.
One should never doubt the potency of it, the crushing agony of falling too fast and too far out. One should never forget the consequences of unrequited love, because love is painful. Love makes us all bleed. Love makes us vulnerable to any pain. Love, so alluring, yet so dangerous at the same time. Love makes us mere mortals, mere souls running after something we can never obtain.
