Flashback
"Harry!!! Breakfast is ready!!" My mommy yelled.
I was shoving all my papers and crayons into my power rangers back-pack.
I ran out of my bedroom and ran down the stairs. I tripped on the last step and hitting my face on the floor as usual.
"Oh honey! How many times have I told you no running down the stairs" my mommy said,while wiping off the dust from my Lightning McQueen shirt and my jean pants.
"MOMMY LOOK" I yelled in her ear while showing off my red Lightning McQueen light up sketchers.
"Yeah those shoes are cool" my mommy said while sitting me on a chair.
"DUH!!! I know there cool, you don't have to tell me twice" I said while eating my pancakes my mommy gave me.
She laughed and started talking to me about boring stuff. I didn't listen I was just to excited for my first day of 1st grade.
"Harry! HARRY!!" My mommy yelled making me jump.
"Yes mommy" I said nicely with a big smile.
"Were you ignoring me??" she said giving me a mean look.
I just smiled bigger and nodded my head.
She chuckled.
"So are you ready for your first day of 1st grade" she smiled.
"Yes I'm so ready, I've been waiting my whole life for this moment" I said while, drinking my juice.
She laughed, and told me it was time to go to school.

My mommy and I held hands while walking me to my 1st grade class.
A lady with bright red hair walked up to us and she bent down to my height.
"Hi sweetie what's your name, I'm your teacher Ms. Madrid" the lady said, her breath smells like coffee.
"My name is Harry Evans Garcia" I smiled putting my hand out.
"Well it's nice to meet you Harry Evans Garcia" the lady said shaking me head while smiling.
She smiled at me again then went up to her normal height and started talking to my mommy. I looked inside the class and it looked fun. There was a bright square blanket, and big bean bags everywhere. And there was tables were kids were coloring on.
"Are you ready to go inside" my teacher said.
I looked over to my mommy and I ran up to her and gave her a big hug.
"Bye honey I'll be back soon, have fun" she said to me giving me a big kiss on the cheek.
I pushed her away while laughing trying to take off the rep lipstick stain on my cheek.
I ran inside and sat at a table where there was another boy and girl sitting there.
I took out my coloring book and my crayons and started coloring a tiger purple.
"Why are you coloring that tiger purple" the boy next to me said.
"Because I like the color purple and tigers are AWESOME!!" I smiled.
"But purples a girl color" the girl next to me said.
"No it's not" I said giving her a mean look.
"Yes it is, boys could only like green, red, blue, and orange. The rest are for girls" the meanie (aka the girl next to me) said.
"Well if blues a boy color then why are you wearing a blue shirt" the boy next to me said.
"This is not blue, it's Sapphire blue" the meanie said.
I looked over at the boy next to me wondering wondering what's sapphire.
"Do you know what sapphire is" I whispered to the boy.
"No but it sounds cool, I want a sapphire shirt" the boy said.
"Same" I said.
"Well if you girls are done making out, I think me and this little boy was having a conversation" the meanie said while pointing at me.
"I'm not a girl!!!" I screamed.
Making the whole class turn to our direction. Ms. Madrid walked up to me.
"Harry what's wrong" she said.
"That girl right there called me a girl and said I like girl colors" I said while pointing at the meanie
"Hazel, know why did you call Harry a girl" Ms. Madrid said.
"Because he looks like a girl and he was making out with that other boy next to him" the meanie said laughing at me and the other boy.
I turned to the other boy and asked him "what's making out".
"I don't know but it sounds fun, you wanna try it with me" he said.
"DUH!!! But I have to ask my mom first" I said smiling.
"BOYS!! You're interrupting are conversation" Ms. Madrid said.
"Were sorry Ms. Madrid" me and the boy said in unison.
"Hazel apologize to Harry and Cameron right know" Ms. Madrid said to the meanie.
Ohhh so that's his name Cameron...I like it!!
"I'm sorry Harry and Cameron" Hazel said looking down.
I smiled.
"Do you forgive me" Hazel said.
"No" I smiled while still coloring my tiger purple.
"Awe man" Hazel said while coloring her giraffe Sapphire blue.
"Hey Cameron I like your name" I said to Cameron.
"I like your name too Harry" he said to me.
"You wanna come to my house today after school" I said to Cameron.
"DUH!!!!" He said mimicking me.
We both laughed and continued coloring.

The school bell rang meaning it's the end of school. I put my coloring book and crayons and shoved them into my back-pack.
I waited for Cameron to be done and we walked out of the classroom together.
"Hi mommy!!!" I screamed running up to her.
"Hi, Harry how was school" my mommy said.
"It was awesome I have a new friend" I said pulling Cameron to my side after he was done hugging his mommy.
"Oh that's nice, do you wanna come over for some cookies and milk" my mommy said to Cameron
"DUH!!!" Cameron said while laughing.
My mommy went to go talk to his mommy about what we were gonna do and she was cool with it.

Cameron and I ran to the kitchen to get the cookies and milk. I grab the plate of cookies and ran up to my room, with Cameron following behind.
I set the plate of cookies on my bed and me and Cameron start eating away.
"Hey Cameron" I said walking to my closet.
"Yeah" Cameron said with a mouth full of cookies.
I took out my Polaroid camera, that my mom gave me for Christmas.
"Wow that's cool" Cameron said looking at the camera.
"You wanna take a picture" I smiled.
"Sure" he said.
I brought the camera up to my face, and took a picture of Cameron. I waited for the picture to come out of the camera. It came out and I saw Cameron making a silly face.
We both laughed and my mommy came in the room.
"Harry everything good" my mommy said.
"Everything's good, can you take a picture of us?" I told her handing her my black Polaroid camera.
"Of course" she said putting the camera up to her face.
The camera took the picture and the picture came out.
"Awww this is cute" she said smiling handing me the picture.
We were both doing funny faces, we looked awesome.
I put the picture in my folder and wrote 'best friends 4 ever'.
"Cameron can I be your best friend" I said smiling.
"Only if I can be your best friend" he said hugging me.
And that's the end of the first chapter of "the best friend" I wanted this chapter to be about the first day they met. So hope you guys enjoyed the chapter.
