HARRY
All I did was listen to Liam blow off his head at me during the a car ride back to the hotel. I didn't even dare to respond unless he asked me a question, which he didn't.
"Are you even sorry for what you did?" He asked, finally a little bit calm. I focused my attention from the road onto his face. To be honest, I wasn't sorry.
"Honestly? No I'm not. She may be your sister but that doesn't stop me from liking her," I responded. I know that will only make him angrier but it was the truth, and I certainly wasn't going to lie about it.
He ended up ignoring me until we got back in the hotel, but I really needed to see her, I needed to know if she was okay or if she even made it back to the hotel. I followed Liam towards his door but he stopped me there and ushered me to leave.
"Just let me see her," I begged, staring at him. I knew he was a bit of a softie, but I wasn't sure if he would be the same for me. He opened the for and allowed me in. I was surprised to see her on the bed, softly snoring. It had only taken her half an hour to be knocked out. I walked towards the bed and sat on it, next to her. She shifted around before opening her eyes and adjusting them to focus on me.
"Hey," she mumbled, shifting her gaze from me to the window.
"I'm sorry for what happened earlier." I apologised. She furrowed her eyebrows and look back at me.
"It's not your fault Harry. You know how Liam is... And I'm sorry for just walking out like that." She looked down on the bed and fiddled with the blanket.
"And I'm sorry for making those rude jokes about your family, and for insulting you, and for stealing your pudding...generally for everything." I concluded. I know I had already apologised last week but I felt I needed to do it again, I could never really forgive myself for those adoption jokes. Those were too far.
"I already forgave you Harry," she stated as she sat up, her shirt riding up a little. Liam coughed from the back which caused us both to look in his direction. He held a deep scowl on his face like he had for the last hour. "What are you doing here?"
"This is my room too,"
"Don't care. Get out," she snapped. He looked taken back by her harsh tone. Ever since she changed she had always been nice and polite, even to her siblings.
"Y/N, I'm only doing what's best fo-"
"No, you're doing what's best for you. You just can't stand to see any one of us happy right? As if me dating Harry would be the worst crime ever. He's one of your best friends right? Then you should trust him." She growled at him. He looked down at the floor as if he was ashamed. I took a hold of her hand and squeezed it, which she gave me a light smile. I could tell it hurt for her to be so angry at her brother, but maybe it was about time she said what she needed to say.
"I swear on your life that if you dare hurt my sister, even the lit-" he started, but I was quick to cut him off, already knowing what he would say.
"I won't," I smirked I satisfaction. I guess he was actually letting me date her.
"Harry."
"I know Liam, protect her with my life...yeah yeah. I know," I sighed, looking down at Y/N who had a light blush going on. "I promise," I whispered.
