V ... was my oddest friend.
During class he tended to look like he was sharply listening to the teacher, with eyes directed forwards and his head nodding at the right times but believe me, his head were up in the clouds.
Sometimes, i enjoyed asking him what he had thought about during class today.
He'll always say the most random things to make me laugh.
Today was different, or rather, he had seemed a bit down lately and had even gone as far as skipping school a few times this week. I was worried and wanted to ask him about it but hadn't gotten the chance to.
"What did you think about during class today?", i asked him as we were walking home with Jimin & J-Hope chatting happily behind us.
"... Nothing special.", he said with his head down and avoided eye contact.
I studied him worriedly and took the opportunity to ask:
"How is it? Did something happen?"
He scratched his neck. Like he was slightly burdened by the question.
"It happened a while ago actually, that..."
He got interrupted by J-Hope suddenly squeezing himself in between us and putting his arms around each of our shoulders.
"Wanna go play somewhere?", he asked with a big smile.
Jimin clinged to my arm as well.
"Let's go play Jungkookie?", he said and grinned towards me.
"Ah...", i smiled back at him but quickly turned my attention to back to V instead.
Would he go? Or more importantly, what had he been trying to say? I had a feeling of that it was something important...
V laughed and smiled a rather forced smile, something that J-Hope didn't seem to notice.
"Should we?", V said.
I studied his so called "happy" expression closer. It was suspicious, i'd have to ask him about it again later. Jimin suddenly nudged his head against my shoulder and i directed my gaze towards him instead. He smiled and i ruffled his head. This hyung, always asking for attention.
"Let's go go go?", i said feeling a bit ligher inside as i took a step forwards with the others following me.
The anxious feeling still lingered though and i glanced briefly at V once again.
Something was up.
That's how it continued throughout the whole time we were hanging out. At the arcade, at the café, walking around in stores, i followed V with a suspicious mind. Waiting, for him to tell us what was wrong or at least tell me so that i could support him. However, as the hours went by and the daylight gradually disappeared... He still hadn't shown any intention of continuing saying what he started earlier.
The time came for us all to seperate. Jimin & J-Hope who had decided to study together went one way and V & i were left alone in the crossing.
It was now or never. Tell me.
V put his hands in his pockets and smiled weakly at me.
"I guess i'll see you tomorrow..."
"Eh?"
"Bye."
Before i could stop myself, i took a step forward and grabbed his arm.
"W-Wait!", i said.
He looked surprised.
"What is it?"
"T-Tell me what you were gonna tell me earlier! You're feeling down about something right?", i asked, going straight to the point.
V looked confused for a second.
"I'm fine.", he said and smiled.
Again... It's forced.
"You're not."
"I'm fine Jungkook."
"You're clearly not!"
"I agree with Jungkook."
"Exactly. So tell us... Eh?"
Who agreed with me? An unfamiliar voice... I turned my head to be met by the sight of a handsome stranger suddenly standing right beside me. He smiled and i let go of V by reflex.
"Excuse me... Who...?", i asked.
V sighed and then made a light hand gesture towards the stranger.
"This is Jin. He's my friend.", he said.
Friend? He had friends that i didn't know of? I felt a bit hurt...
"Oh...", was all that came out of me.
Jin went up to me and shoke my hand.
"I have heard a lot about you... Making Taehyung's heart and sense of duty waver. Let's hope it won't lead to anything reckless, right?", he said.
His way of talking felt like it was floating, it sounded a bit awkward... Like he was talking to himself. I felt unsure but decided to nod in agreement just to be polite. V seemed a bit unhappy about it though.
"Stop it.", he said.
"Why? It's all true. You will have to choose, and soon, before the world starts revolting against your existance.", Jin said.
"That's our problem. Not his.", V answered.
"It'll become his problem if you really do make a reckless choice though..."
I had no idéa what they were talking about. I just turned my head back and forth to each of them while they were speaking, trying to snap up some information since this unknown thing obviously had something to do with V's gloomy mood.
"Stop it i said!", V raised his voice slightly.
Jin put his hand on my shoulder and gave V a slightly disappointed look.
"Why don't you choose right here, right now?", he said.
"..."
Jin turned to me.
"Jungkook. V is a spy sent from another planet and he will soon have to return because of the time limit. The problem is that he doesn't want to. Because of you...", Jin said while looking me in the eyes.
V took one step towards us, grabbed my hand and used his strength to drag me over to him, freeing me from Jin's grip.
"That's enough.", he said and gave me a signal with his eyes that it was time to leave.
Jin smiled.
"I was really just passing by so... See you later then, Taehyung.", he said and then smiled at me, "You too Jungkook."
He turned his back to us and started walking away.
"Passing by... Such lies. Rather, you're trying to pressure me...", V mumbled but Jin had already walked so far that V's words could no longer reach him.
Soon Jin's back disappeared into the darkness.
V took my hand in his and looked at me with serious eyes. He sighed.
"Are you okay?", he asked.
I nodded and V smiled that weak smile once again. It looked sad.
He suddenly leaned forwards and gave my hand a soft kiss. I blushed and didn't know what to do. I tried to free my hand in panic because although i didn't feel any disgust from it, it was just so unexpected.
V took a step closer to me, near enough for me to smell his perfume. With his eyes sexily half closed he came closer and kissed me gently on the lips. I shivered but remained standing. His lips stayed on mine for a few seconds before i decided to back away. However his hand were still tightly gripping mine.
"W-Why?", i asked him with a shaking voice, still shocked by his sudden actions.
He didn't answer me and i could feel his hand shaking slightly, it let go of my hand and found it's way to behind my neck. It was warm. So warm. He then kissed me again, deeper this time while tilting his head. It was a passionate kiss that forced me to close my eyes as well.
It felt amazing.
When our lips seperated and V's hand slided down my chest, stopping in the middle of it, he suddenly chuckled quietly.
"Since you're gonna forget anyways...", he said with a sad tone and the weak smile still dominating his face, "... Right now... I have a feeling that i won't be able to win against my reckless feelings."
"V..."
"Forgive me."

The time came for us all to seperate. Jimin & J-Hope who had decided to study together went one way and V & i were left alone in the crossing.
It was now or never. Tell me.
V put his hands in his pockets and smiled weakly at me.
"I guess i'll see you tomorrow..."
"Eh?"
"Bye."
And so he turned around and walked away.
The next day he was acting his usual self again and i never found out what he had tried to say that day.
But it felt like i had forgot something important...

I'm sorry for not updating in forever. I have been working on my script again, haha... i may also be stuck in script-mode so my novel writing and expressions feels a bit stiff. ㅠ-ㅠ
