••Alex's POV••
I woke up to see Jack sleeping peacefully, I smiled at him
"Oh shit." I mumbled sitting up making him open his eyes
"Sorry." I whispered
"What's wrong?" He asked in his raspy voice oh god
"I'm gonna be late for school." I said panicking
"Shit." He said sitting up
"I have to go." I said putting on my shoes he nodded
"Go get ready I'll take you." He said I smiled and nodded
"See you in a bit." I said running downstairs
"What happened?" Gilinsky asked
"I'm gonna be late for school." I said running out of the house . I ran to my house and opened the door
"You're late." Summer said
"I know I slept in." I said running up to my room. I didn't bother getting my clothes. I just got in the restroom and took a quick shower.
I stepped out and wrapped a towel around my body and grabbed some burgundy shorts and a black tank top with a gold cross on it and put on my undergarments then the shorts and shirt, I put on some black socks and my white and gold high tops. I walked over to my make up stand and put on some concealor, mascara and EOS pomegranate raspberry lip balm. I combed my hair and put it to the side. I put on my black hat, and grabbed my backpack.
"Where is it?" I asked looking for my phone
"Looking for this?" Johnson asked holding my phone in his hand
"Yes thank you." I said grabbing it from him he chuckled
"You got dressed fast." He said
"I could say the same for you." I said
He was wearing a simple white t-shirt and some black jeans
"Ready to go?" He asked I nodded. We walked out of my room and went downstairs
"Daniel took Summer because you took too long as Summer said." He chuckled
"Oh wow." I laughed
"Come on." He said grabbing my hand and pulling me out the house
"Wait." I chuckled closing the door and following him
"Ma' lady." He bowed as he opened the door I chuckled and got in. He closed the door and ran to his side
"What time do you enter?" He asked. I checked my phone
"In ten minutes." I bit my lip
"We'll be there in eight." He winked at me before driving off
"I don't want to go." I crossed my arms
"It'll be fine." He assured I sighed and nodded
"Just ignore him." He added
"Have you ever been cheated on Jay?" I asked
"Yes." He frowned
"But it'll get better, those people who hurt you aren't worth it." He said
Who would cheat on him? He's amazing
"And we're here." He said parking in front of the school
"God." I whispered he chuckled
"Hold up." He said getting out of the car. He went over to my side and opened the door
"Such a gentleman." I pinched his cheeks he chuckled
"I try." He smirked
"Want me to pick you up after school?" He asked as I got out
"Only if you want." I smiled
"I want to." He nodded
"Then pick me up at three." I said he nodded
"Oh look a new rumor." He said I turned to see everyone looking at us and whispering I rolled my eyes
"Nothings changed." I chuckled he nodded
"Well I got to go." I said he smiled
"See you after school." He said I nodded. I waved at him before walking towards school
"Alex." Dylan said stepping in front of me I rolled my eyes
"What do you want?" I asked
"Jack? You came to school with him?" He clenched his jaw
"Yea problem?" I spat
"At least I can be with a guy without having sex." I said
"I was drunk, I didn't mean it." He taking off his sunglasses. He had a purple eye
"You forgot your backpack." Jack said walking towards us
"Thanks." I smiled and grabbed it
"What's going on?" He asked glaring at Dylan
"Nothing, why don't you leave? You're not even supposed to be here." Dylan spat
"I can be here if I want." Jack spat
"Ok enough." I sighed
"Just go I'll be fine." I assured Jack he looked at me
"I don't want you to be alone with him." He said Dylan scoffed
"I won't ok? I'll find Summer." I assured he sighed
"Text her and tell her to come, I'm not leaving until she gets here." He said
I sighed and took out my phone. I texted Summer and she replied with "I'll be right there"
"She said she's on her way." I said he nodded
"I'm not gonna hurt her." Dylan spoke up
"You already have." Jack spat
"I'm here." Summer said walking towards us
"Don't let her be alone with him." Jack said to her
"I promise." Summer nodded
"See you later." He smiled at us we nodded. He glared at Dylan before walking away. He got in his car and drove off, just then the bell rang
"Come on we have to get to class." Summer said I nodded. Dylan tried talking to me but I ignored him
First period: Math
"Great." I mumbled sitting at my assigned seat
"Alright class settle down." Mr. Cox said putting his folders on the desk
"Who's up for a pop quiz?" He asked making everyone groan I chuckled
****At Lunch****
"Mrs. Cruz totally shut up Mia today in English." Summer laughed as we sat down
"What did Mia do now?" I asked
"She kept calling her fat and names." Jeannie rolled her eyes
"And she threw a sharpener a Nancy." Maddy added I rolled my eyes. Mia is one of those popular girls who thinks she can get away with anything. Nancy is really smart so they bully her for that, but she's really pretty, she has long blonde hair and green eyes
"Wait she called Mrs. Cruz fat?" I asked
"Yup." Jeannie nodded
"That's too far." I scoffed they nodded
"So how she shut her up?" I asked
"Mrs. Cruz said, well I don't throw up my food sweetheart." Summer said I burst out laughing
"Mrs. Cruz burned her so bad." I laughed
"And Jade didn't say anything?" I asked confused
Jade and Mia are "best friends" and do everything together
"She was in the restroom." Summer rolled her eyes
"A.k.a making out with some random dude." Jeannie said I scoffed
"You wish you could get at least one guy to kiss you." Jade spat walking towards us with Mia right behind her I rolled my eyes
"I heard you and Dylan broke up." Jade pouted
"And if so, why do you care?" I spat she smirked
Dylan is your typical popular boy, but he's really down to earth that's why I even dated him. I hate those guys who think they're all that just because they're popular
"I also saw that Jack Johnson brought you to school." She added
"He's hot." Mia giggled I rolled my eyes. Thirsty
"Stay away from him." Jade spat
"Claiming him already?" I scoffed
"Yes." Mia spat
"Well too bad." I spat back
"Leave her alone." Dylan said walking over to us
"I don't need your help." I spat he just shrugged
"Why'd you guys break up? Did Alex cheat?" Jade pouted
"Why the fuck you care?" Dylan spat she shrugged
"I can't care? You're my friend." She said touching his chest
"Friends my ass." Dylan scoffed and pushed her hands away she rolled her eyes
Riinnngg
"Let's go." Summer said I nodded
We all stood up and walked away from them
"Jade is stupid." Jeannie said
"Always has always will." Maddy said
***After School***
"Finally." Summer said as we walked out I chuckled
"Jade has been annoying more than before." Maddy rolled her eyes
"Look who's here." Jeannie nudged me looking in front of the school
"You're boyfriend." Summer smirked I rolled my eyes
"He's just a friend." I looked at them
"He puts the boy in friend." Maddy said
"He's just a friend." I repeated they nodded
"Hey." Jack said walking towards us I smiled
"Hi." I smiled
"We'll leave you too." Maddy winked before they walked away
"What's that all about?" He chuckled
"They're crazy." I waved it off
"So where do you want to go?" He asked
"Well I thought we were going home but where ever you want." I chuckled
"Heyyy Alex." Jade sang walking over to us
"You must be Jack." She said shaking his hand
"Yea." He nodded and looked at me
"I'm Jade, Alex's friend." She smiled
"Friend?" I fake laughed
"You hate my guts and I hate yours." I spat
"Not true." She laughed
"Can we go Jay?" I asked
"Of course." He nodded I smiled and we walked away from Jade
"So I'm guessing she's not your friend?" He chuckled opening the door for me
"Of course not." I said getting in. He closed the door and went to his side
"She's "popular" and just wants to get with you." I said using quotation marks he laughed
"I don't judge girls but, she looks fake." He said driving off
"Oh she is." I rolled my eyes
"Ice cream?" He asked I nodded
"How was school?" He asked
"The normal, math, science, fake girls jocks." I scoffed
"School sucks." I pouted he chuckled
"It's your last year, it'll be over before you know it." He said
"I hope so." I mumbled
"Did he bother you?" He asked protectively
"A little but he stopped." I said he nodded
"Did I tell you that you look beautiful?" He said I blushed and shook my head
"Well you do." He smiled I bit my lip
"Sam was getting ready for his date with Summer." He chuckled
"So cute." I clapped
"Is it after school?" I asked he nodded
"No wonder she came all dolled up." I mumbled
"Yea." He laughed
"I've been meaning to ask you." I said he nodded
"How long are you and Jack staying?" I asked
"Nine months." He smiled
"Nine months." I whispered he nodded
"Do you want me to leave already?" He gasped I giggled
"No, just asking." I assured he nodded
"I remember we would always come here as kids." He said stopping in front of the ice cream parlor
"Me too." I smiled at the memory
"Shall we?" He asked I chuckled and nodded. We got out of the car and waked into the ice cream shop
••Summer's POV••
"Hey." Sam said I smiled
"Hey." I said closing the car door
"I'll leave you two alone." Daniel chuckled before walking into the house
"You look beautiful." He said checking me out. I blushed and looked down
"Thank you." I smiled
"So umm ready to go?" He asked nervously
"Yea." I nodded. He grabbed my hand and pulled me towards the car
"How many cars do the Johnsons have?" I chuckled as I got in. Sam closed the door and got in
"I think three." He said closing the door
"Ahh ok." I nodded putting on my seat belt
"So where we going?" I asked he smirked
"Well since tomorrow is Halloween." He said I nodded
"I thought we can go to a haunted house." He said
"So romantic." I said sarcastically he chuckled
"It is, because if you get scared you'll hug me." He winked I blushed and looked down
"Then we're gonna go on a romantic walk." He said driving off I chuckled
"D-Do you have a boyfriend?" He bit his lip
"I wouldn't be going on a date with you if I did." I said he blushed and nodded
"So how's life?" I asked he chuckled
"Good life is good, and you?" He asked
"Awesome, me and Alex are really close now." I said
"Oh yea, you girls weren't close before huh?" He asked
"We didn't really understand each other I guess." I shrugged
"And why did it change?" He asked
"When my dad returned to the army." I frowned
"We just all got closer." I said
"When did he go back to the army?" He asked
"About two years ago." I sighed he stopped the car
"Do you see him often?" He frowned
"I haven't seen him in seven months." I sighed
"Hey, you'll see him again." He said cupping my cheeks
"I'm just scared that one day we'll get that call." I mumbled
"You won't ok?" He said looking at me in the eyes. He looked at my lips and leaned in. I started to lean in also, and soon our lips met. I cupped his cheek and kissed back. He pulled away and gave me a cute smile
"Do you just want to umm....walk around?" He asked I bit my lip and nodded. We got out of the car and he intertwined his fingers with mine
"I'm not really romantic." He looked down
"I know you probably thought I was or something but I'm not." He mumbled. I got in front of him and lifted his face
"Don't worry about it, it's nice to just walk." I said looking around
"With you it's way better." I blushed he chuckled
"It's fun with you too." He said caressing my cheek with one hand and grabbing my waist with the other
"Aww." I teased he chuckled
"Your eyes are so beautiful." He whispered I blushed
"Thank you." I said shyly he chuckled
"You're very welcome." He smiled
"Does Alex like Johnson?" He asked
"Hmm she used to but now I don't know...why?" I asked
"Johnson is head over heels for her." He laughed
"Just like I am for you." He said in a serious tone making my heart flutter
"I know it's too soon to ask you to be mine." He bit his lip
"But, I really like you Summer...and well I would love to go on another date with you and get to know you better." He smiled I bit my lip and nodded
"I'd love that too." I said making him smile
"Then let's go on our walk babe." He winked I blushed and nodded
••Alex's POV••
"Jay put me down!" I yelled at him
"Why?" He smirked
"Because I don't like being carried." I whined he chuckled
"Fine." He said putting me down
"My hat!" I yelled picking it up he laughed
"Not funny Johnson." I said hitting his chest
"Kinda is." He shrugged
"Kinda isn't." I said he rolled his eyes
"And where's Mr. Castillo?" He asked I frowned
"M-My dad?" I stuttered he nodded
"Jack can we take a picture with you?" Some girls asked walking towards us he looked at me I nodded. He smiled before taking pictures with them. After he finished the fans asked ME questions
"Are you his girlfriend?" One asked
"Oh no we're just friends." I said
"You guys would make a cute couple." Another one said
"Just friends." I said again
"Well we have to go." Johnson said I nodded. I really didn't like all these girls asking me questions and all staring at me
"Bye." He waved at them and we walked away
"Did they scare you?" He asked
"No I just don't like the attention." I said he nodded
"Well let's get you home." He said
"It's getting late." He added. . I looked around to see the sun already setting I nodded. We got in his car and drove off
"See you tomorrow?" He asked opening the door for me
"Yea." I nodded as I got out
"Goodnight." He kissed my cheek I smiled
"Night Jay." I hugged him. I pulled away and walked into my house
I walked up to my room to see Summer there
"Sammy and I kissed." She squealed I chuckled
"Really? Are you guys dating?" I asked sitting on my bed
"Well not yet." She frowned
"But he said he would like to go on another date with me." She said happily
"How about you and Jack?" She smirked
"What about me and Jack? We're just friends." I said taking off my shoes
"Sure." She tease
"We are!" I defended
"Unlike you and Sam." I smirked she blushed and looked down
"Has mom came home?" I asked taking off my shirt. I'm comfortable in front of Summer I mean she is my sister
"Yea she came home tired so she's in bed already." She said I nodded. I put on a over sized hoodie and grabbed my hair in a pony tail
"Well I'm going to sleep." She squealed and ran to her room. I chuckled and walked over to my door and closed it. I walked into my restroom and brushed my teeth. I took off my make up before turning the light off and laying in my bed
"What are you doing to me Jack?" I whispered. I turned off my lamp and closed my eyes
