~Maya's POV~
I get home and Calum's at the door.
"Do you know where Dahlia went?"
"I thought she was with you..."
Hailey walks up.
"She was supposed to be with Hailey..."
"Who?"
"Dahlia."
"If she's not with any of us. Where IS she?" I ask as I open the door.
Calum's face saddens, "Maybe the person is hurting her again..."
"I don't know."
Hailey seems confused.
Looking at Calum I say, "Shes fine."
"Why would she lie to us though?"
"Maybe she's worried about you and Maya?"
Dahlia walks in. Well then.

"Hailey?" Ashton walks in.
"I'm assuming, you are the drummer in 5sos," She says even though they've already met.
He laughs at her.
"Well you are..."
Ashton gives her an awkward look, "Well. Hi."
"Hey..." She eyes his arms, "You look strong."
"Thank you?"
"Do you lift?"
He looks uncomfortable but slightly proud, "Yeah, yeah a bit."
She smiles, "All good drummers do."
He grins, "So I assume you do?"
Her face becomes a giant grin, "Are you assuming I'm a good drummer?"
"Well, if Dahlia and Maya say you are."
"Well yes. I do lift. But only a little."
"Nice," he laughs.
"Well. Can your muscular arms do me a favour?"
"Probably, what is it?"
"Well I have this drum kit outside..."
"No problem, show me where you have it," he smiles at her as she gestures for him to follow her.
After they are outside I say, "Well that was very interesting."
"Yeah... It definitely was," Dahlia giggles.
"Do you think she... She can't."
"No way."
"No."
Calum giggles at India trying to walk by the couch.
I look back at Dahlia, "Ashton is too giggly for her... Though his giggle is adorable."
Calum suddenly speaks up, "AREN'T YOU SUPPOSED TO BE IN LOVE WITH LUKE?"
I laugh, "I am in love with Luke. Ashton's giggle is just really cute. I'm not deaf."
"Yes! It's so adorable!" Dahlia drags out the 'so' to tease Calum.
"See!"
Calum glares.
"Are you jealous of Ashton?"
"No," he folds his arms.
"Mmhm. Suuuure," I say sarcastically.
He pouts, "I'm just as strong... And adorable."
I laugh, "Ashton is WAY stronger than you."
"Not true!"
Dahlia giggles at our fight.
"No way! You have noodle arms!"
"No I dont!" He whines.
"Ashton is stronger."
"You suck."
I laugh and take a bow, "Why thank you."
Hailey and Ashton walk in.
"Where do you want us to put the kit exactly?" Ashton asks.
"Oh um, at the back of the garage."
"Can you come?"
"Yeah sure."
I walk with them into the garage. It's not much of a garage anymore. It's a music room.
I have my guitars on their stands at the front. I play bass as well so I have a few bass guitars there also. Next to all the guitars, I have a jar of picks. There's a few amps at the back of the room.
"Maya..." Hailey mumbles walking in. Nobody has seen this room before.
"What?"
"How do you... Is that a... This is so..."
I laugh.
Ashton giggles a little, "You play bass?"
"Yeah. I play every kind of guitar."
Hailey runs over to my keyboard, "YOU HAVE A KEYBOARD?!?"
Ashton notices my little drums, "You have drums too??"
"I got a lot of gifts when... My parents died."
They both look up from what they were looking at and give me a sad look. Afterwards, they continue playing with everything.
The entire room has so many instruments in it. To the right are my guitars and bass'. The left is all of my percussion and keyboards on a bunch of shelves. The back I have a few amps. And at the front, I have a bunch of mic stands and mics.
"So um yeah. You can set it up right here. I have some mics at the front if you need them. And feel free to play with the instruments."
About 15 minutes later, Dahlia walks into the garage. She just walks around aimlessly like she's distracted.
"Dahlia?"
"Hmm?" She turns around.
"You look distracted..."
"Yeah, sorry. What're we gonna play?" Hailey and Ash finished setting up the drums a few minutes ago.
"We were going to decide that. Any covers you want to sing?"
"Um," she bites her lip. "Boulevard of Broken Dreams?"
I look at Hailey, she nods.
"I guess so." I pick up an electric guitar and plug it into the amp.

I walk into my English class. Thomas is in front of me, Aaliyah is to my right and Aaron to my left. He never talks. It's so weird.
I look over at Aaliyah. "It's Friday!" I say excitedly.
"What's Friday?"
"The party thing. Where you get to meet my boyfriend."
"Oh right! I almost forgot. What time do you want me to come over?"
"Well we have band practice after Glee... So maybe around 6?"
"Perfect."
"I hope you'll like him."
"I'm sure I will. Anyways, isn't it Hailey you should be scared of?"
"Eh. Hailey will be Hailey." I'm wearing the gold necklace he gave me. I run my finger over the little guitar.
Aaliyah touches my necklace, "Is that from Luke?"
"Mmhm."
"It's cute."
I smile, "Thanks."

Luke and the guys just arrived. Aaliyah and Hailey were here already.
"So these are the guys, you know Ashton and Calum already."
I point at Michael, "This is Michael and that," I point at Luke, "Is Luke."
"Hey," Aaliyah smiles.
"Are all four of you hot or...? Yeah seems that way," Hailey says while looking at them all.
Luke laughs as I say, "Well Luke is mine! You can't have him!" I grab Luke and pull him towards me, jokingly.
Dahlia laughs. "Calm down Hailey. Calm down."
"Hey, I'm just being honest!"
"Honest is good," Michael grins. "I like honest."
"I like honest too." She smiles at Michael.
"Me too," Ashton cuts in abruptly.
She giggles in response.
I start pulling Luke over to the couch when Calum speaks up, "Aye, you two aren't alone you know!"
"Well then why don't you join us?"
"Wow," Dahlia looks up. "Kinky."
"Uhhhh. I'd really rather not."
"Why not?"
"I'm with India. It's all good..."
I grin evilly, "Come here. Come here girl! Come on India!" I clap to get her attention. She waddles over to me and I pick her up, "No you don't."
"Maya! You thief!"
I run over to the couch and cuddle her, "She's mine now!"
"Oh yeah? I can steal your things too!"
"Can you now?"
"Uh huh! Watch me!" He runs over to Dahlia and picks her up while she screams, "STOLE YOUR BEST FRIEND!"
"She's your girlfriend anyways." Luke comes and sits next to me.
"Yeah. Well. What else am I supposed to steal? You?" He points at Luke.
"You would never be able to 'steal' me." Luke says.
"Oh yeah?"
"Yeah."
Dahlia groans, "What is wrong with all of you?"
"It's not my fault your boyfriend wants to steal me!"
~Dahlias POV~
After we hang out for a while and have supper, the boys announce that they've rented out a laser tag place and we're going tonight! So now here we are, getting ready to play. We decided girls against guys. So, clearly, we'll win.
"Okay, so how about if you get shot five times you're out?" Michael looks over at everyone for approval.
"Sounds good to me!" Aaliyah laughs, putting on her target vest.
"Okay, great! Prepare to be beaten!" Michael grins, holding up his laser gun.
"Hey, no shooting until we're in there!" I laugh.
"Fine! If you say so."
"Michael, you are going down!" Maya grins.
"Girl, we will DESTROY you!" He laughs.
"Prepare to die," Calum winks.
"Right back at ya," I smirk.
"Oh really?" Maya responds to Michael. "Have you not seen mean girls? I'm REGINA GEORGE."
"And who wins in the end, huh? That's right, SUCKA!" He laughs manically.
"Well I still look hot after being hit with a bus so..."
Hailey doubles over with laughter. "Mikey, I'll get the bus!"
Already calling him by his nickname, huh?
"Oh so you're Cady now?"
"Apparently!"
"No buses!" Luke laughs. "Just laser guns. Let's GO!"

Hailey, Maya, Aaliyah and I stand on one side of the huge building, while Michael, Ashton, Calum and Luke are on the other. A timer is on the wall in bright red.
5... 4... 3... 2... 1!
A loud noise goes off, signalling that we can start moving through the maze of obstacles.
"Okay, what's the plan?" I ask.
"Hm, teams of two until we find them, then we split up and KILL THEM!" Hailey exclaims.
"Calm down," I laugh. "But yes, sounds good."
"And text if you're under fire!" Aaliyah smiles. "Then we can form a group counter attack!"
"We are so gonna win!" Maya grins.
"Aww yeah!"
Maya grabs my arm and runs to the left, and Hailey and Aaliyah go to the right. We walk for quite a while before we hear any sounds.
"Michael, shut up! What if they hear us?" It's Ashton's voice.
"Oh they're too far away. If they were here we would hear giggles."
Maya nudges my arm and grins.
"Shall we?" I mouth.
She nods and moves slowly over. We each take aim at one of them. She aims at Michael, I aim at Ash.
"Hello, boys!" She says, startling them. Then we shoot and run as fast as we can to get away.
"Where the heck are they?!" Michael yells after running after us for a while.
I hear a scream in the distance. Sounds like Aaliyah. Luke and Calum must've found them.
'Heard a scream :P' I send in our group message.
'Aaliyah's been hit! We got 'em back though!' Hailey responds.
'Who?'
'Luke. One shot.'
'Nice,' Maya sends with a grin.
"Where to now?" I whisper in case Michael is still close by.
She nods left and takes off with me quietly following. Turning the corner, she runs straight into Luke. She freezes in shock, and he takes the opportunity to shoot her. As he aims at me, I take a shot at him. After he fired he runs off the the other direction.
"Great, only four hits left and we die!"
"Three for him," Maya laughs.
'HELP I'M TRAPPED!!' A text from Hailey pops up on my phone as she lets out a scream.
"Let's go!" We run in the direction of the noise until we see her, trapped against a wall with Calum about to take a shot.
Maya jumps out and shoots him, but because of the scream Michael showed up as well, and he shoots her. She aims, but Hailey is the one to shoot him. We run off again in the opposite direction.
"Don't get shot anymore!" I laugh.
"I'll try!"
We walk for a while until we see Ashton, walking with his head down on his phone.
Maya runs over and shoots him, but it was a planned attack. Luke and Michael jump out and aim at her, but only Luke's laser hits a target. She runs away, leaving me standing behind a wall watching them. I slowly walk away until I'm so far that I can't even hear them yelling once they've found someone.
I reach the end wall of the building and stand to turn around when Calum jumps out from behind a neon pink and green wall. I scream as he corners me.
I pick up my laser gun, but he pushing it down and walks closer until I'm pressed against the very corner. Grinning, he puts one hand on my hip and kisses me. I place my left hand on his neck and play with the collar of his flannel as we kiss. Then, taking a step back he smirks and shoots me, then runs away.
'Got shot again,' I text.
'Yeah, boo who! I got shot FOUR times! I'm gonna die!' Aaliyah replies.
'Probably!' I reply and start running back to where everyone was before. The girls team MUST win!
"Revenge!" I hear Hailey yell. I run over just in time to see her shoot a fleeing Calum in the back. "How do you like that? Huh?"
"Shh!" I laugh. "Stop yelling, they'll come back!"
"Right, oops!"
"No, Ashton no!" Aaliyah screams from nearby.
"Well, she's dead," Hailey walks away. "See you later, try not to get killed!"
"Right back at you!"
As I turn a corner I see Calum, Luke and Michael in a circle talking.
"Okay, Hailey and Maya won't take long to kill, but Dahlia has only been shot twice."
Who should I shoot? Hm.
I aim at Luke and take the shot, then run over to the other side before they turn around.
"Hey!" He exclaims.
"Who did that!"
"Me!" I giggle as I shoot Calum.
"Aye, get back here!"
"Never!" I rush through the maze of various obstacles.
I run into Hailey again, and start to talk, but she hold her hand against my mouth.
"Um?"
She points through a tiny hold in a wall, and I see Ashton, cautiously peering around a corner with his back turned to us.
"One, two, three!" She mouths.
We jump out and shoot him.
"Ack! Hey! That's not fair!"
"Yes it is!" We laugh and walk away again.
Hailey goes off to find Michael, and I keep going straight. I see Maya trapped with Michael aiming.
"No! I've already been shot four times!"
"Too bad!"
Luke jumps in the way of Maya, and I shoot Michael in the back. He turns and shoots me, giving Maya good shot at him, and she takes it.
"Noooo!" He shouts.
I shoot, missing once but Maya gets in the final 'kill' shot.
"Maya!" Michael whines. "Luke, this is your fault!"
'I'm dead! Dahlia, your boyfriend sucks!' Hailey texts.
'Kinda busy!' I reply, trying not to laugh. As I send the text, Luke shoots me.
"Hey!" I jump behind something.
Maya aims at Luke and grins.
"What! Maya, I saved you!"
She shoots. "And I killed you!" She blows a kiss at him and runs in my direction, then grabs my hand. "Let's go!" She laughs.
After a minute we slow down. "We need to kill Calum," Maya says.
"Yes!" I grin evilly.
"The odds are in our favour. Two of us, one of him."
"Yep, girls rule, boys drool!" I laugh.
"Where is he?"
"He's really good at being quiet... Trust me..."
"Oh, I know."
"He could be anywhere..."
"Wait, did you hear that?" She asks as the tinniest noise is heard.
"Yeah, I think so..."
We take a few steps to the right when Calum stands with his back turned to us.
He whips around and shoots Maya. As he aims for me I instantly jump up, wrapping my legs around him. I push the gun from his hand and grin.
"Aha! Take it Maya!" I giggle as I lean back.
"Hey, that's a copy of MY trick!"
I jump down as Maya grabs the gun. "KILL HIM!"
I aim at him and grin. "Bye, bye!"
"Dahlia!"
I giggle and shoot. He glares as the red laser touches one of the targets on his vest.
"WE WON!" Maya cheers.
I laugh and high five her.
The lights turn on to reveal where the exits are.
"This was the best party ever!" I say as we walk towards one.
"It was amazing!" Maya agrees.
"We totally let you win," Ashton comes up from behind us.
"Sure you did."
"What was that? All I heard was 'sore looser'. I'm sorry," Maya smiles sweetly.
I laugh as Ashton rolls his eyes. "Whatever, we'll beat you next time!"
"Oh yeah?"
"Yes!" Calum, Ashton, Michael and Luke say simultaneously.
"Oh, you're on."
