Wind whipped through the trees bringing stinging rain and mist that cut through your clothes. I'd forgotten my hat and only had a thin jacket on while making my way home work. Shitty day and even shittier night. I should have known to bring these things, wear something warmer...

Practically falling through the doorway as I stumble into my house dripping wet and cold. I immediately walk to the bathroom and take a hot bath to wake up my numb fingers and toes. After what I think is long enough as the water started cooling I finally drain and walk out to my room for bed. Pjs on, and not bothering to turn on the lights, clamber into my bed and stretch out only to freeze as my hand brushed something too warm in contrast to the chilly sheets. My front door unlocked, every light on except for my own. And I had broken up with my boyfriend the week before, so I was in fact alone.
Then, the body moved next me me.....
