Titles
Oh my god! I’ve seen worst titles in the history of titles.
Please, my humble request to all the writers, please stop making your titles so darn long and boring. For example, I’ve seen titles like, ‘Hell No!!!! I’m not marrying him!!!’
Or something like, ‘I Fell for My Best Friend’s brother?! WTF?!’
Just a glance at your story’s title, and I can tell how the story would turn out. If the titles are something like what I’ve mentioned above then I wouldn’t bother reading your book.
Okay let me give you examples of how to rephrase some titles.
1) O.M.F.G! I can’t believe I fell for you!!
The title states something shocking or something unexpected, so maybe it can be rephrased as, ‘When The Unexpected Happens’
See? Sounds interesting enough?
2) Hell no!!! I’m not marrying HIM!!!
This states something related to marriage refusal for someone you hate or maybe arranged marriage, so it can be something like, ‘Arranged Marriages Should Be Illegal’ or ‘Hate Me, Marry Me’, ‘Marrying Mr. Jackass’.
Okay, not probably the best titles but better than the ones from above?!
Another thing, don’t have titles as vague or as common as ‘I Love You’, ‘My Love’. Please, they are just dead boring! It wouldn’t even interest me if I see a story with such a title. Stories with titles like, ‘Illegal My Ass’, ‘Sir, I think the Bad Boy knows about us’ or ‘The Tables Have Turned’, ‘The Girl With A Blue Hoodie’ interest me and I quickly click on the story to start reading. You get what I mean right?! Small tips to have a good number of people reading your stories.
