Countless times I've meditated
On what I should feel.
Countless times I've been interrogated,
But only one answer I gave.
Friends is what we are.
I realized this later,
When my mind went a far.
We were better as friends.
Awkward moments are still present,
But we know what we really feel.
Mutual feelings may be absent,
But friendshil remains.
Friends is what we are
And it will stay like that.
The confession in the car
Will be forgotten.
Partnered once again for fun,
For official purposes.
Our friendship was made into a pun,
But minded not.
Friends is what we are,
No matter what others say.
Friends is what we are,
And friends we'll stay.
