Hey my lovely readers I've had writers block for these past few months and I think I'm finally ready to write again. It's been a rough few months for me with loosing my friend quitting my job I'd been at for at almost 4 years and changing companies. But I think now I'm doing better so as your thank you and your Happy Thanksgiving present from me here's a new chapter. Let me know what you think.

A/N:Violet is in her room laying in bed. It's morning.
(Violet's POV)
So today is the memorial I'm not really nervous about talking in front of everyone because I'm too numb to even care if they'd be judging me. I feel like crap and I just want to be left alone. I know they all care and are worried and all but I just wish they'd all stop.
Nick: Hey vi do you need anything?
Me: NO!
Nick: Geez sorry I'm just trying to help.
Me: Sorry Nicky I didn't mean it. I just wanna be left alone if that's ok.
Nick: Sure baby girl just holler if you need anything. We leave for the memorial at one. I'll come get you when it's time to leave.
Me: Thanks Nicky.
(Nick's POV)
I know she just lost her best friend but I'm really worried about her. She's sad all the time and doesn't want to do things.
Me: Kev can we talk about Vi?
Kevin: What's up? She alright?
Me: She is not only snapping at people but she is sad all the time. I get that her best friend just died but she doesn't even want to get out of bed half the time.
Dani: Nick of course she's a bit upset but she'll be fine.
Me: Dani it's obvious she's depressed. I think we need to take her to a...
Dani: Don't finish that sentence. She just needs time. Besides I doubt she'll agree to see a therapist.
Kevin: Let's just let her have a little time. Today is the memorial so she's gonna be pretty sad today. Just be nice and keep her spirit up. Speaking of Vi Nick can you make sure she is ready to go at 12:15. Don't bother her about her speech though.
Me: Yeah alright..
He goes to his room. A few hours later Joe goes to check on Violet.
Joe: Vi
Violet: Hi Joey.
Joe: You need anything?
Violet: Actually would you be ok listening to my eulogy I wrote?
Joe: Of course vi.
(She gives him her eulogy)
Joe: I like it. I'm so proud of you it's really good vi.
Violet: Thanks Joey.
Joe: Well it's 12:00 why don't you start getting ready and come downstairs.
(12:15 Nick knocks on Violet's door)
Me: Vi are you ready...
(Violet opens the door ready and drags Nick downstairs with her.)
Joe: Hey Vi just in time and I see you brought Nick with you.
Vi: Yeah I figured I'd better so he didn't get mad I walked right past him.
Joe: Good choice.
Me: You both suck. I didn't need to be dragged.
Kevin: Awesome we are all ready to go so let's get in the car.
Me: Aren't the rest of the girls coming?
Kevin: No it's just the five of us.
(They drive to the hotel)
Violet: I'm so nervous. What if I sound bad? What if no one likes my eulogy? What if...
Jesse: Vi breathe and look at me. You'll be fine and you're gonna do great. Lily is right here with you and I know she'll agree with me that you will be amazing and they will enjoy it.
Violet: Ok thanks Jesse. Let's go find our seats.
They all find where they are supposed to be and its overlooking the ocean with a breathtaking view and Lily's urn sitting off to the right side surrounded by beautiful pink lily's and roses. There is a podium in the middle with a microphone and rows of chairs facing the front. There is a pic of lily sitting next to her casket. Violet and the boys sit in the second row behind Lily's family with Violet sitting at the end of the row on the left.
Violet: Wow.
As the ceremony begins the pastor says a few words and reads a scripture and then it's Violet's turn to give her eulogy.
( Violet's POV)
Me: Thank you everyone for coming and celebrating the life of Lily Ann Oliver. My name is Violet Marie Jonas and Lily was my best friend. She was like a sister to me. A really honest sister who always told it to me straight even when I didn't want to hear it. She was the best friend I could've ever asked for. She was kind and compassionate and funny. I remember this one time about two years ago when she was over she saw my brother Nick for the first time when he came home one day and I swear her jaw dropped to the floor. She had a huge crush on him. She told me one day she was gonna marry him. She even showed me this album she put together of what their life would look like as a married couple with a family. Her family meant everything to her she once told me her dad was her hero because there wasn't anything he couldn't do. It may come as a surprise to many of you to know that her favorite artist was Demi Lovato. It's funny because she met her recently and found out she was my brothers girlfriend and the only thing she asked of her was to sing the chorus from her favorite song skyscraper which I will read to you now

She once told me if she ever did die she wanted Demi Lovato to sing at her memorial so bestie this is for you. Demi Lovato singing skyscraper just for you.
I hope one day I can join you and we can sing together again once more.
(Demi walks over dressed in the black dress from the 2015 I heart radio)

Me: After it ended everyone kept coming up to me and thanking me and her parents gave me hugs and told me to keep in touch. After about an hour and having some delicious snacks provided by the hotel we headed home. I went straight to my room and collapsed on my bed in tears.
Kevin: Where's vi?
Jesse: She went to her room when we got back. I think that took a lot out of her.
Nick: Well she's joining us tonight for a movie.
Joe: Nick you can't force her to join us. She just gave her best friends eulogy. It's gonna take some time for her to feel better.
Nick: I can and will.
Kevin: Nick I'm with Joe let her be or else I'll sic
Dani on you.
Nick: Then sic Dani on me. I'm getting Violet down here. (He heads upstairs)
Kevin: DANI!
Dani: Will you hush I just got Alena to sleep.
Kevin: Sorry but I need you to stop Nick he's trying to force Violet to spend time with us.
Dani: That boy is gonna get it. (She runs after Nick)
Nick: Ow! Dani!
Dani: Downstairs now!
Nick: But...
Dani: No! Your butt better be moving down those stairs now! If you wake Alena up you'll be putting her to sleep on your own now go!
Nick: Ugh!
Kevin: That's my wife!
Joe: I'd say I feel sorry for Nick but he deserved that.
Kevin: Well let's get ready for movie night.
