Curiosity and Innocence

A few weeks ago,
Ai and Lily met Ranmaru and Camus.
Reiji offered them to form a group with him.
The two rejected Reiji, making Ai the only one
who has approved yet.
Today, Ai has nothing to do so he just decides
to stay home with Lily.
Ai: Lily?
Lily: Yes?
Ai: I was wondering..
Lily: About what?
Ai: What should I do once we form a group?
Lily: Eh? Well you should cooperate with your group,
and since you guys are planning to start a career in music,
you guys would definitely sing. Including dancing.
Ai: Dancing? I don't know if I am good with that.
Will you teach me?
Lily: Eh? XD I don't know if I'm also good in dancing.
Ai: I only know how to dance slowly with a partner. That one
I once saw in a movie. Where it was a guy and a girl..
Lily: Oh.. (That dance are usually for couples, Ai-kun XD)
Ai-kun suddenly took my hand and placed it on his shoulder,
he was holding my other hand. And he placed his other
hand on my waist.
Lily: A-Ai-kun? What are you doing?
Ai: It was like this.. I remember. They were dancing like this..
*slowly moves*
Lily: . . . . . (My heart is beating fast..) . . . .
I accidentally stepped on Ai-kun >.<
Lily: I-I'm sorry!
Ai: It's okay. *keeps dancing with Lily*
Lily: . . . . Don't you want to stop yet..?
Ai: No.. I feel like.. I like dancing with Lily.
Lily: really..?
Ai: Yes. I don't know.. But I just do.
Lily: . . . .
Ai-kun's phone suddenly rang.
Which caused us to stop dancing.
He was still holding my hand when
he took his phone out using his other hand
Lily: (Why won't you let go ._.)
Ai: Hello?
Reiji: Ai-Ai!~ Come meet me! I have some good news!
Ai: Is that so? . . . Alright. I'll be there in an hour.
Reiji: Okay, thanks! See you! *cuts the line*
Ai-kun faced me, still expressionless as usual.
Ai: Lily, I'll go meet Reiji.
Lily: O-Okay. (He still won't let go..)
Ai: *walks away*

Lily: Um.. Ai-kun?
Ai: ?
Lily: Won't you please let go of my hand?
Ai: ! *looks at his hand that was holding hers*
Lily: You've been dragging me around all this time..
Ai: I-I'm sorry! *lets go* I forgot to let you go..
Lily: (Could he be malfunctioning? No, that can't be..
I checked him just a few days ago, he was alright.) . . .
Ai: Will you come with me again? I don't seem like I can do
fine without you.
Lily: Eh? (If that's the case I could never leave you then..) Alright.
Ai: Thanks! :)
We left the laboratory to meet Reiji.
He was waiting for us in front of the entrance.
Reiji: Lily-chan, Ai-Ai~! ^.^
Ai: What is this place, Reiji?
Reiji: This is the SHINING AGENCY! :3 We're going to meet
Shining Saotome, the one who scouted us.
Ai: Oh. Okay.
We went inside and went to Shining Saotome's office.
We found Ranmaru and Camus sitting inside as well.
Ai: Ranmaru.. Camus?
Ranmaru: -_-
Camus: Hello there.
And Saotome did his loud and crazy entrance.
Saotome: HELLO, HELLO~ Yo~!
Ranmaru: (;≧皿≦) will you cut that out
Camus: (*￣m￣)...
Reiji: Hello, sir!
Ai: *looks at Lily* Lily, is he okay? He doesn't look fine to me.
Lily: (aw Ai XD) Ah, he is. Don't worry. Are you afraid of him? XD
Ai: What's it like to be afraid..?
Lily: Err uhm.. I'll explain to you later.. XD
Shining Saotome starts talking.
Saotome: So, everyone has agreed to form a group, right yo?~
Ranmaru: Yeah.
Camus: Yes.
Reiji: YESS! ^.^
Saotome: But there's one that I don't remember I scouted yo.
Who is this person? *spins his way to Ai*
Ai: *backs away* ....?
Lily: (This guy better not to anything weird to Ai-kun -_-)
Reiji: Ah! He is Mikaze Ai! Believe me, sir! With him in our group,
we will do better. Please give him a chance.
Saotome: Mister Kotobuki, are you sure about this? I only remember
looking for a group composed of 3 members.
Lily: Um, please give Ai-kun a chance!
Ai: ?
Reiji: ! :o
Ranmaru: . . . . (so much dramas ¬¬)...
Camus: ￣_￣....
Saotome: And who are you, miss?~
Lily: I.. I am Emily Venus. I am Ai's personal assistant.
Saotome: Is that so, yo~? Then tell me, hoho, why should I
give this person a chance? B{)
Lily: B-Because.. Ai-kun rarely loves anything, nor likes anything.
He barely gets that feeling. That's why.. when he told me that
he loves music, I want to help him approach his dreams.
I wanted to support him to start a career in the world he loves,
the world of music.
Ai: Lily..
Lily: *looks at Ai and smiles* And I believe that Ai-kun will really
make it! He's talented, his voice is mesmerizing and his looks
are stunning! Don't you agree? Just look at him, he's perfect.
Ai: .... *eyes widens*
Reiji: :o.. *jawdropped*
Saotome: ..... Hmm.. You have such devoted lady here, Mr.Mikaze.
Now then.. for the final test, let me hear your voice.
Ai: *looks at Lily*
Lily: It's okay, Ai-kun ^_^ Just sing :)
Reiji: *has finally recovered from surprise XD* S-She's right,
Ai-Ai! Just sing, you can do it!
Ai: Okay.. *concentrates* . . . . . .
Ai-kun concentrated, and finally started to sing.
Which caused us to feel massive feelings of sadness,
for you can feel the sad, romantic lyrics in his voice.
In the end, he ended up making Saotome cry with his
beautiful voice that enchants everyone who hear it.
Saotome: *sniff* Beautiful.. just magnificently beautiful!
Ai: *looks at Lily again* .....?
Lily: He's not lying. You were amazing :)
Ai: *smiles* :D
Reiji: Alright~!! ^.^
Camus: That was beautiful.
Ranmaru: Right..
After recovering from his feels,
Saotome finally stopped crying XD
Saotome: Now that I've heard Mr.Mikaze.. and I have heard
everyone else's voice.. I approve your group formation now.
Reiji: YESSSSSS~!!!! T~T
Camus: That's good.
Ranmaru: right ._. (I WANT A ROCK BAND
Lily: Isn't that great, Ai-kun? :D
Ai: Yes.
Lily: ^_^
Our little happy moment was interrupted by Saotome.
Saotome: BUT..
Everyone: ?
Saotome: None of you are allowed to fall in love.
Ranmaru: Why is that?
Saotome: An idol's love are their fans. That's all.
Reiji: What happens if we fall for someone?
Saotome: You will be kicked out from my agency B{D
Ai: . . . . . . .. . (Love?)
Camus: No problem. We can do that.
Reiji: Well, Camus-san is right.
Ranmaru: Yeah.
Saotome: Very good then. Starting today, you are now officially
a group, and you shall be known as... QUARTET NIGHT! B{D
Reiji: ooooh~ what a lovely name~ *0*
Ranmaru: (I want a rockband's name
Camus: That's fine.
Ai: . . .. . . ..
After having them officially formed as Quartet Night,
we went home. Ai and I are walking home as usual.
While walking home, I notice Ai has been out of himself
all this time.
Lily: Ai-kun?
Ai: ....! Hmm?
Lily: Are you alright?
Ai: ..... Yes.
Lily: *touches Ai's forehead* ! You're hot, really, your body
temperature is high. What's wrong?
Ai: I was just thinking about love. What is love? What do they
mean by 'falling in love'? I know I said I love music, but I guess
I still do not fully understand it.
Lily: (He was trying so hard to understand it and caused his body
to overheat..) Ai-kun.. I'm sure you will understand it someday!
Ai: Really..?
Lily: Yes! (And by that day, I wish I have understood it as well..)
Ai: Thank you Lily.. I hope so too.
Lily: No, I'm SURE you will!
Ai: *smiles* I really am lucky to have you by my side.
Lily: ^_^
We continued to walk around.. and suddenly
two girls who looks like at the same age as us
notices us and talks about us so loudly that we
can obviously hear them -__-
Girl 1: Hey, hey, look at that guy! *points at Ai-kun*
Isn't he cute, right, right??
Girl 2: Omg, yeah you're right! But who's that girl with him?
is she his girlfriend?? she must be! D:
Girl 1: Eh? Girlfriend? Yeah, she's pretty, cute, but so what?
He's too perfect for her! I don't think her level deserves him!
Ai-kun and I heard that. I just ignored it though, but Ai
reacted to it and walked up to those girls.
Girl 2: Kyaa he's coming this way!!
Girl 1: We're way prettier that that girl so he must have left
her for us :3
Girl 2: Are you sure..? He looks mad......
Ai: Can you not talk like that about Lily? She is a very beautiful
girl and a beautiful person. Unlike you, who recklessly insults her,
someone you don't even know.
Girl 1: L-Let's go! >.< *drags the other girl*
After scolding those girls, Ai-kun walked back to me.
And me, just standing there, with my eyes widened in surprise.
I didn't expect Ai to scold them for 'insulting' me like that.
Ai: Hey.
Lily: ...! ..?
Ai: It's okay, they were wrong about you. You're perfect for me.
Lily: . . .. *blushes*
Ai: By the way..
Lily: Eh?
Ai: What do they mean about 'girlfriend'? ._. well, you are
my girl friend right? I mean.. you're the only girl friend I have.
Lily: *laughs* Haha, it's not like that Ai-kun.. XD
Ai: Eh? Why is that? Was I wrong? o.e
Lily: They mean it in a 'romantic' way. Girlfriend means I am a
girl that you love.
Ai: I am supposed to 'love' my friends right? You are my friend,
therefore, I do love you. Though I don't understand what it is yet..
Lily: *laughs again* No, no, no. Haha. There are different kinds
of love. The other one is the love in a 'romantic' way. If you love
someone that way, it means they are truly special.
Ai: What is special? . . . . Never mind. All this 'love' thing is giving
me a headache and I am starting to overheat just by thinking about it.
You are my girl friend. Now let's just go home before you get cold.
Lily: XDD... Okay, whatever. Haha.
Ai-kun and I walked home. I couldn't help but to laugh because his
curiosity and innocence is cute and adorably funny at the same time.
