Some of you may already know this, and I've been sitting on this for a long time now. I have some pretty big news to share with you officially:
Slow Dancing has been adapted into a six-part digital series! It's produced by Mediacorp, the national media network from my home country Singapore, and will be available on their website meWATCH. The series will be released Tuesday, January 19th 2021 (at GMT +8) and you can watch it anywhere in the world for free.

One of my favourite things about this adaptation is the cast of Kaden and Isla, who, like me, are fellow Singaporeans. I'm really looking forward to seeing them on screen, so here's introducing my two main leads:

That being said, I want to thank all of you for your constant support. I mentioned before that I wrote Slow Dancing as a way to say goodbye to my childhood, and all the tropes that I grew up reading and loved. But I never in a million years imagined that the story I wrote for myself, in my room, with characters and scenes I only ever thought of in my head, would come to life on the screen.
And I know that I owe it all to you — every single one of you who've read, reread, commented, voted, added to your reading list, and shared with your friends. Your support is the reason I've gotten to where I am today, and you are the reason I continue to create new things. I really couldn't have done any of this without you.
So from the bottom of my heart: thank you.

The first three episodes will be made available on Tuesday, January 19th 2021 (GMT +8), with the next three the following Tuesday, February 2nd. All episodes are free to watch anywhere in the world.
