Today the wound is anew and fresh as green
I watched her bare feet hug the cold creamy tile,
Fear shooting from her eyes,
She was asked to lay on her left side,
A cuff embraced around her right arm,
A wired-pulse clip pecked on the tip of her forefinger,
"Let my father in," she stammered to the nurse.
Words demurring, fighting with her tongue,
They didn't. I saw her getting more anxious,
Liquidy sedative was sprayed in her mouth,
Tasted like a toothpaste, turned the walls of her mouth heavy,
Yet she managed to speak, "please call my father in."
Her plea met with a refusal again,
A plastic mouthpiece placed between her teeths,
Her mouth forming a perfect 'O'
Now enters the star of the show,
My eyes being camera and mouth with dazzling light,
Jet black colour, size about as little finger,
I flexbily serpentined inside her slender gullet,
Her terror evident from her heartbeats,
She felt me moving in the interiors of her chest,
Like a snake squirming towards it's prey,
By the time I landed in her stomach,
She felt gutted and utter discomfort,
Sounds of her retches echoed in the room,
She desperately wanted them to stop,
Clutching her cloth, tears brimmed in her eyes,
Her fingers trembled and knuckles turned white,
Zap! I was out of her,
She looked weary and weak like a writhed flower,
Hiding in her father's arm,
Cried the girl who was weak in her Moments of Pain.
