Maybe living without controlling everything is the best way to have everything under control. The only problem with this statement is that even the motivation behind it is a little control freak and I don't wanna be that person. Not anymore.
Things might fall apart, loves come and go, careers end even after decades of dedication and, overthinking it or not, there's nothing you can do about it. It's best to acknowledge those things for how good they are right now instead of thinking about how good they'll eventually stop being. For some, this might mean you end up not caring about anything, but in fact that's the only way to prove you do.
