Season 3 Episode 20
I woke up that morning wrapped in Nik's arms I smiled and rolled over so I could look at his face. He looked so peaceful free of worry and revenge. I took my hand and traced my fingers lightly across his jaw his stubble tickled my fingertips which made me grin, my fingers changed course and ran along his nose then across his light pink lips. Last night Klaus told me how Esther had finally died I couldn't say I was sad though. Then suddenly in the blink of an eye I was on my back with Nik hovering above me.
"Well this is a nice surprise and here I thought we'd have a repeat of last time with you trying to sneak out again" he said cockily but I could see the fear in his eyes.
"I meant what I said last night Nik I'm not leaving you again" I told him sincerely
"Good now lets continue from where we left off last night shall we angel" he said smirking while leaning down to kiss my neck
"Yes" I moaned as he hit the sensitive spot at the base of my neck.

After another hour in bed and another in the shower Klaus and I had finally pulled ourselves from our bedroom and headed downstairs. I didn't bother getting dressed as I was planning to pull Klaus away for more catching up if you know what I mean. So I simply wore a white see through shirt with cap sleeves and some grey pyjama bottoms to roam the house, my wet hair was pulled back into a pony away from my face. I grabbed two blood bags from the kitchen and drank them as all the exercise from last night and this morning had made me quite thirsty. I walked from the kitchen into Klaus studio to see him working on the painting from last night.
"Looks good" I said
"What do you think of leaving" he asked his attention now fully on me as I sat on the table beside him.
"What do you mean" I questioned
"Me you Rebekah and the doppelganger leaving MysticFalls" he said
"Me you Rebekah yeah but Nik you know how I feel about doppelgangers I'd end up killing her you know that" I pouted
"We could always compel her to behave" he said now standing between my legs holding onto my waist as I put my arms around his neck.
"Okay" I gave in
"But if I kill her don't blame me" I said pointing at him.
"Wouldn't dream of it" he mumbled leaning in to kiss me but we were interrupted by Rebekah strolling through the doors.
"What took you so long" Nik asked pulling away from me
"Alaric didn't want to hand over the steak luckily I'm quite the charmer" Rebekah said
"See this is why I love you Bekah" I smiled at her
"So that's it" Nik smiled showing his dimples
"The last of the white oak stakes that can kill us do you want to do the honours or shall I" she asked with no emotion weird! Nik took the stake from her hand and threw it in the fire.
"Well that's that then" Rebekah said then went to walk away.
"Pack your bags Bekah were finally getting out of this hell hole I'm thinking the cocktails in the Caribbean" I said happily as Nik chuckled
"Today" Rebekah
"Why not? There's nothing keeping us here we'll grab the doppelganger and be off by sunset" Nik said as he went back to his painting
"Tonight's the decades dance" Rebekah said worried
"So" Nik shrugged
"So I'm head of the committee we have to go" she said
"I'm not going to some stupid dance" Nik said
"Oh come on Nik let her have her fun it's only one more night" I said looking at him
"Please I have big plans for tonight just go for me" Rebekah said
"Really come on Nik, Rebekah never says please" I chuckled
"Okay fine one last hurrah" Nik said caving in
"One last hurrah Nik" Rebekah said then left the room no doubt off to find a dress
"You women will be the death of me" Nik huffed
"I do hope not you're much to fun" I smirked standing in front of him my hands resting on his chest
"Now why don't you take me upstairs and help me out of these clothes so I can find something head turning for tonight" I seductively whispered while my hands crept under his shirt
"Your wish is my command" he smirked and sped us upstairs as I laughed my head off.

It had been two hours since I started getting ready and finally I was done. I rummaged through my walk in closet and found some dresses from the 20s. I found an off white flapper dress made of silk it was one of my favourites from the decade. The dress was slightly low cut and was see through around the top of the bust. It had intricate designs sown into the bodice and from the top of my thigh's down the dress was covered in fringing. I paired the dress with cream pumps (also from my time in the 20s)I wore long pearls for around my neck and long cream silk gloves that went above my elbow.
My hair was in a sleek curled up-do like the way I used to do it in 1920. I wrapped pearl headband around my head it had a jewelled flower and feather on the side of the head piece. My make-up made me look very alluring, I did a smoky black eye and dark red lips. I looked at myself in the mirror it was amazing it looked as though I had taken a step back in time.
"You look perfect angel" Nik said from behind me I turned around and saw him wearing a cream three piece suit with his hair slicked to the side.
"Well you don't look so bad yourself darling" I said fixing his striped tie.
"Shall we" he said holding out his arm
"Always the gentleman" I laughed as we left.

We walked into the high school gymnasium it was decorated in lights and balloons a song popular in the 20s was playing in the background as the school students tried to imitate some jazz moves.
"How unbelievably tacky" I mused
"Come on love you were the one who begged me to come" he smirked with his arm wrapped around my waist.
"For Rebekah's sake it doesn't mean I have to like it besides this cheap imitation could never compare to our time in Chicago and Atlanta" I said turning in his arms
"Prohibition parties those were the days" he mused
"Where is Rebekah by the way I can't see her anywhere" I said looking around
"She'll find us Angel don't worry now come dance with me" he said pulling me to the dance floor as a slow song came on I lay my head on his chest while we swayed to the music forgetting the world around us. When the song ended something caught Nik's eye.
"Excuse me love" he said I looked in the direction he was going. I saw vampire Barbie dancing with one of his hybrids Tyler. I huffed and followed him through the crowd.
"Where've you been mate" Nik said
"I just got back in town" Tyler replied
"That's funny I don't recall giving you permission to leave in the first place" Nik smirked
"Leave him be Nik" I said walking up beside him
"Why hello Barbie" I said to Caroline she didn't reply but I could sense her fear I smirked and turned to Tyler.
"I don't believe we've been introduced Thyra Mikaelson and you are" I asked
"Tyler Lockwood" He said while I looked him up and down
"Nik's first successful hybrid hmm" I say with fake interest
"Now that introductions and hello's are out of the way I believe you promised me more than one dance so unless you want to sleep alone tonight dear husband I suggest you honour that promise" I told Nik with a glare
"Of course Angel" he smiled and pulled me back to the centre of the dance floor
"Did you have to ruin my fun" Nik asked as we resumed dancing
"Yes unlike you I want to leave this town as drama free as possible which means no upsetting the locals" I informed him
"What ever you say love" he laughed as continued to dance.
Two more songs later and Rebekah was still a no show. We decide to go outside to call her and wait for her.
"Rebekah call me back immediately we only came to this ridicules because you begged us to" Nik said to Rebekah's voice mail as I walked down the red carpet placed outside the school. Then suddenly an invisible force stopped me I looked down and saw a line of salt.
"Nik" I shouted he came over to me hanging up the phone to look at what I was pointing at.
"What is this" Nik said
"Your mothers back" said a voice behind us, Stefan Salvatore's voice.
"Fantastic" I shouted.
We then followed Stefan back into the school and into an empty classroom where the Bennett witch was doing a spell to break the barrier the doppelgangers brother Damon and some other dark-skinned guy were also there.
"She does this all the time right" the Dark-skinned guy said.
"What's taking so long all boundary spells have a loophole" Nik shouted
"Aren't Bennett witches suppose to be all powerful I mean you were the one who set Esther free in the first place" I told her angrily she simply glared in return then the door burst open in walked Rebekah's crush
"People are walking right out of the dance past the barrier" he said
"Of course she'd allow the weak ones to go free no offence" I said to the humans in the room
"If Matt and I can leave we can stop Esther ourselves we just got to find out where she is" Doppelgangers brother said
"Its suicide Jeremy" Stefan said
"As I said the weak ones can roam free" I smirked then suddenly Nik had the dark-skinned boy by the neck
"Suicide would be disappointing me now work your magic witch or I'll start killing off people you fancy" he said
"Let him go" the Bennett witch screamed
"Not until you get us out of here" Nik said I rolled my eyes and sat down on a nearby chair beside Damon
"Don't be stupid Klaus Bonnie doesn't give a damn about us the only reason she's helping right now is to save Caroline and Tyler if you start killing people she cares about she'll tell us all to go to hell" Stefan said trying to reason with Nik he actually listened to Stefan and let the boy go.
"Say what you will about your brother but he has excellent people skills" I said to Damon. The next few minutes were spent debating if the humans were going to go stop Esther or not I got bored and stood I could feel myself getting worked up.
"You know if I didn't hate your mother before I really hate her now. First she arranges my marriage then she makes me drink my sister's blood to turn me into a vampire then she kills my sister and is killed by you but magically brought back to life a thousand years later were she tries to kill me again. She dies a second time only to come back to life yet again I swear I'm going to scatter her body parts across the ends of the world to make sure she actually stays dead this time" I fumed Everyone stared at me after my outburst I ignored them all and stormed from the classroom.
I sat in another deserted classroom trying to get my anger under control why couldn't the bitch just stay dead and stop trying to ruin my life.
"That was some speech you made in there" I heard from the doorway I turned my head and saw Damon Salvatore.
"Thanks" I muttered he then walked over to me and handed me a silver flask
"Looks like you need it" he said sitting leaning on the desk beside me I opened it and took a huge gulp and handing it back
"You know I always pictured what your husband would look like I mean from what you told me he sounded like a complete ass" Damon mused
"Did Klaus live up to you expectations" I questioned and took the flask back for another drink.
"No" he said I stopped drinking and looked at him
"He's worse" he said and I laughed
"All doppelgangers are the same you know, they fall in love hard and easy but one love is never enough so they have to have two or three but there is always one that's just that much better than the rest. In the end it almost never works, Tatia my sister chose Elijah before I married Nik it worked out because Nik and I were meant to be, but Tatia lost her life to Esther before she and Elijah could be truly happy. Katerina loved Elijah then you and your brother but because of her actions she can never have any of you. Then the lovely Elena well it looks to me as though she's following in the footsteps of those who came before her" he didn't looked at me when I finished so I continued
"There is no better bond then the bond of siblings. I loved my sister more than anything in this world sure she had a reputation but I never loved her any less. I would have given up Nik in a heartbeat if it could have saved her, I've seen the damage doppelgangers can do to a family don't let the love you and your brother feel for her destroy your family too" when I finished I stood up and went to leave before Damon stopped me
"Why are you telling me this" he questioned
"Because at some point in our lives we were actually friends Damon" I said smirking
"But we could have been more" He said smirking wiggling his eyebrows
"How about when you get over your obsession with doppelgangers and I leave Nik for good then we'll talk" I said laughing walking out the door.
After walking around the school for a while I found myself at the entrance of the school both the Salvatore's and Nik stood there talking as I walked out.
"I was wondering were you got to love" Nik said when he spotted me
"I've thinking of ways to kill and maim your mother" I told him when I reached him. Nik laughed and wrapped his arm around my waist kissing the side of my head both Salvatore's looked at us weirdly most likely because of how loving Nik was to me.
"Its done Esther's not fighting me anymore the boundary spell is broken" Bonnie said coming out of the school
"Thank god Nik take me home" I said looking at him. Nik then lifted me up in bridal style zooming us home.
Nik dropped me at home then went to pick up Esther's body I sat in the living area drinking a glass of bourbon when I heard him come in, he went to the room that held the family coffins a few moments later I heard him shout.
"YOU WILL NEVER DESTROY ME" I rushed into the room to see him standing over Esther's coffin. I walked up to him and placed my hand on his shoulder he turned to face me and I saw tears in his eyes.
"She can't hurt us anymore Nik I promise" I whispered he shut his eyes and leaned his forehead on mine
"I love you angel" he said pulling me close
"And I love you" I whispered as I leaned in to kiss him our moment was broken by a huge inhale of breath. Rebekah really had impeccable timing.
A/N season 3 episode 20 done!!! Klaus and Thyra are still together yay!! Esther is dead again lots of Thyra and Klaus cute moments and a Damon and Thyra moment.
There is no Caroline and Klaus!!! Her didn't give her a drawing after the ball because the moment with the horse didn't happen at the ball!!! And he didn't dance with her at the decades dance as you can see from the chapter so any scenes that involve Caroline and Klaus that Thyra isn't in HAVE and DO NOT happen
Another thing I will continue this book on into the Originals Thyra will come to New Orleans and I Can't wait!!!
