We all lounged by Niall's pool. It was a hot blazing day so swimming was the only option. I laid on the grass with Harry, the rest of the boys and girls in the pool.
"I love you," he said out of the blue. I put my phone down and stared at him. It was such an out of the blue statement. We most only ever said I love you when we were in a conversation or after it had been a while.
"Well...I love too too but w-" I replied but he cut me off. I could feel the hot sun burning through my baggy t-shirt on my back.
"I just. I love you. Remember that." He demanded more than stated. I sat up as he did. I could see muscles in his back were tense, so I got on my knees and began running my hands on his back, relaxing him a bit.
"I know. What's the matter babe?" I asked, wrapping my arms around his neck from behind. His breathing was heavy as if he was going to have a panic attack. I stopped what I was doing and sat next to him, forcing him to look at me.
"I-I please don't hate me,"
I looked at him confused he continued to look me deeply in the eyes. We seemed to block out the rest of the word as it felt like it was only him and I.
"You, you didn't cheat on me did you?" I stuttered. I was praying he was loyal enough not to do that. He was quiet, which made me believe he did.
I released my hands from his shoulders and folded them on my lap.
"I didn't cheat on you. I'd never do that." I sighed a breath of relief as I waited for him to speak.
"Listen. I-I. Okay I'll just spill it out."
"Please just say it, you're scaring me."
"I-I, last night when you were asleep, I went downstairs and opened the fridge. And I saw it, your Extra Large Snickers bar. I couldn't help myself, I got so tempted and then...I ate it. All." He spat out as if he was terrified. I glared at him in shock. Not because of my chocolate but because of his reaction to eating it. Before I knew it, I burst out laughing.
He looked at me confused as I continued to laugh. I grabbed a hold of his face and kissed his pouty lips.
"It's okay babe. You don't have to think I'm going to hate you for that!" I laughed. He breathed a sigh of relief as he placed his forehead on mine. "You had me scar-" I paused when I saw a deep smirk on his face. I knew what kind of smirk that was. He had played many tricks on me lately so u had accustomed to that face. I opened my mouth and pushed his face from mine.
"You're so mean! Credit for great acting but still!" I poured. This time he was the one to laugh as he pulled me in and wrapped his arms across my waist.
"Love you."
"Yeah yeah, love you too."
