"Where's Micah?" Paisley asked as we were walking down the side walk to School.
"He hardly got any sleep last night so Gail let him stay home." I replied.
Paisley left it at that and we continued our walk to school, eating our donuts that Beatrice had made the night before.
We arrived at school and a guy from my algebra class came over to me. Is not like me at all, he's more like one of the popular kids.
"Hey your Eva, right?" He asked as he smiled down at me like Micah does except his smile isn't as cute as Micahs.
"Umm yeah and you are?" I replied.
"Zach Johnson."
"Oh, okay, what did you need?"
"I'm having a party at my place tonight for the sophmore class. Everyone that's a sophmore is invited." He said still smiling at me.
"I don't think I'd be welcome." I kind of laughed and started to walk off.
He ran in front of me and insisted that I go. Something didn't feel right though.
"Does it make a difference if I come or not? I mean I'm a nobody. Just stick with your popular group and leave me alone." I said and pushed past him to go to first period before I was late.
"So, are you going to go to that party for the sophomores? " paisley asked.
"No, I don't think so." I replied.
"Why not? Will you please go with me?"
I didn't answer for a moment and I thought to myself.. I had to go with her, especially if something didn't feel right.
"Okay, I'll go and only if Micah goes. You have to promise though if Micah says no that you won't go because I have a bad feeling."
"Nothing bad is go-" She started but I interrupted her.
"Promise me."
"Okay fine I promise."

After school I walked out to see Micah waiting outside of the school for me and Paisley.
"How was school?" He asked as we walked up to him.
"It was okay, there's a sophmore party at Zach Johnson's house tonight and Paisley really wants us to go." I said, keeping to my word.
"I don't think so. That's not really my scene." He replied and Paisley looked upset.
I felt bad but I really think it's for the best that we didn't go anyway so I didn't push the subject on Micah.
"We can all watch movies tonight and have a slumber party." I said enthusiastically, trying to get paisley to cheer up.
"No, I think I'm just going to stay home." Paisley said in a sad tone.

"Eva! Come her quick!" Gail said hollering and sounded worried.
I ran down stairs and she ushered me to the kitchen were the landline was.
I picked up the phone and said, "hello?"
"Eva, i-I ne-ne-need you. I'm at Z-zachs party." Paisley said bawling into the phone.
"I'll be right there." I said and hung up the phone.
"Micah! We need to go now! Something's wrong with Paisley!" I hollered and Gail ran out to the truck and started it.
Micah ran downstairs and we ran to the truck. Gail was driving and we sped off.
It took about fifteen minutes to get to zachs address and I got out and started looking for Paisley.
I couldn't find her anywhere but I spotted Mellisa.
"Mellisa, have you seen Paisley?" I asked.
"Eww, who invited you?" She said.
I pushed her up against the wall, making her spill her drink.
"Have you seen her!" I screamed in her face.
"She ran upstairs like five minutes ago!" Mellisa said kind of scared.
I ran upstairs and screamed for Paisley. But there was no sign of her.
Then I saw Zach.
"Zach, have you seen Paisley?" I asked, stopping him dead in his tracks.
"Don't worry about her. Come talk to me in the bedroom." He said as he started pulling on my hand to follow him.
I yanked my hand free and said, "no where the hell is Paisley?!"
He tried yanking on my hand again, this time with a firmer grip and I couldn't get free.
Micah came upstairs and saw what was happening and pushed Zach off of me.
"Where is she?" Micah said as he got into Zachs face.
"Oh my God I think she locked herself in the bathroom." He said and pushed past us.
I looked around for the bathroom and only found bedrooms until I came to the last door.
The door was locked and I couldn't get in.
"Paisley, open up. Its Eva." I hollered through the door.
I heard the door unlock and Paisley ran out and hugged me. She gripped onto me and wouldn't let go but I managed to pull her away from me so I could look at her.
She had a black and blue, swollen eye and her clothes were torn.
"Oh my God what happened to you?!" I said and felt the tears start to fall from my eyes.
"Zach and his buddies, they.. they forced me to do things with them."
I turned to Micah and I could see the anger building up in him.
Before I knew it He ran down stairs and Paisley and I went after him.
We didn't even get down the steps all the way and I saw Micah cornering Zach up against a wall.
"Why! Why would you do that to her!" Micah screamed.
"Dude, I don't know what that Looney told you bu-"
Zach didn't get to finish his sentence, Micah punched him and he fell to the floor.
Before I knew it Micah jumped on top of Zach and started hitting him in the face over and over and over again.
"Micah stop! Your going to kill him!" I screamed and ran down the steps leaving Paisley on them.
Micah wouldn't stop he just kept going.
I went over and tried to pull Micah off of Zach and continued to scream.
Micah flung me off of him causing me to fly into the wall.
Gail came running in the room and finally managed to get Micah to stop.
Zachs face wasn't noticeable because of all the blood on it. He was still alive though, I saw his chest rising and falling.
"Whoever else raped Paisley will get there's!" Micah screamed throughout the house.
I went back over to Paisley and took her to the truck, Gail and Micah following.
When we got back to our neighbor hood I walked Paisley home. Beatrice was sleeping and I wasn't going home tonight for two reason. Paisley needed me and Micah pushed me into a wall. I know it was out of anger and he probably didn't realise it was me but I was still pissed.
I had Paisley get into the shower and get cleaned up. She begged me not to notify the police so I didn't even though I really wanted to.
I tucked her into her bed and she fell asleep fast. If she didn't want anyone to know what happened, like the police and her grandmother, how's she going to explain her huge black eye.
I laid down in the bed next to Paisley and held her close. No I'm not into her like that either. I held her because I was really scared for her and what happened to her was horrible.
