(This is a true story.)

March 17th, 2013... the day of a birthday party, the day I was having fun... at least until I had fallen in turn 2 of the roller funk. We had been at Great Skate for 2 hours now and planned on staying one more. My sister and I would skate around together, hold hands, and mess around. We were approaching a turn in the ring and my sister kicked up her speed. We turned while I was skating at a slower pace. I fell straight onto my left side while my sister landed on me slightly. The second I landed on the dense tile, I could feel pins and needles racing down my left arm. I skated around a little more assuming I had just hit my funny bone. Then, as the numbness continued, I explained to my mom my discomfort. We went home, with a continuous tingling feeling in my nondominant hand. We thought it would be better by the next day but I guess we were wrong.
