3rd Person POV
As Garroth and Aphmau were walking to the lunch tables, Pete came over.
"Hey look! Garroth has a girlfriend!" He yelled. Then he said in a quieter tone,"Maybe we should test their love, and see the lengths they will go to save each other!"
Pete grabbed Garroth by his hand,"Look, new girl! He's cheating on you! Aren't you going to punch me or something?" He taunted.
Aphmau frowned, looked at him, and said,"We aren't in love, he's just showing me around the school. Can you stop, now? You're acting like a fool."
Pete frowned. "What did you just call me?" His face was turning red. Why was he getting all worked up?
"I called you a fool, because this whole thing is dumb. Can you let go of him, now?" She responded calmly.
Pete was really angry now. She wasn't taking the bait... Hmm... Time for something new. His fist speared in to Garroth's gut. "Next time, you save him. Or else this will keep on repeating over and over for poor Garroth."
They left, and Aphmau rushed over to Garroth. "Are you okay?! I'm sorry, I just didn't want to get embarrassed, I never knew he was gonna do that!"
Garroth forced a smile to his face. "I-it's fine... Just a little winded that's all. And don't worry, I'm used to that kinda stuff."
Aphmau sighed. "You know, you shouldn't let him do that type of stuff to you. It's not right."
Garroth's POV
She's so brave! If only I could stand up to Pete like that. Anyways, let's go to get lunch.
"Do you buy lunch of bring lunch? I bring my lunch, but I can show you where the lunch line is if you bring."
Her face lit up. Gosh, I love it when that happens. "I bring my lunch, too! Where do you usually sit at lunch?" She asked quizzically. I shrugged. " I usually sit right over there." My finger was pointing to a small table in the very back corner of the cafeteria. Some of my friends were already sitting there.
Aphmau started walking before I could say anything about the people that say there. "Hey Aphma-" I shrugged in my mind. Oh well, she'll learn who is who and their personality really quick.
