I decided to skip episode 17 and 18 because Kol isn't in either of these episodes and as you all know Thyra is now in Denver with Kol and Jeremy. I will explain what Thyra has been up to in the two episode gap. So enjoy my lovelies.
Season 3 Episode 19
I sat lounging on the sofa glass of whiskey in my hand as I recalled night before.
Kol and I were celebrating as he had just received word from Klaus that the Bennett witch had unlinked us no doubt Kol's little video we had made of the doppelgangers brother earlier had helped immensely.
Two half naked girls giggled and danced around as their friend lay dead beside Kol who had just killed her moments before my meal was laying sprawled out on the armchair unconscious from lack of blood. We had picked them up from a bar and compelled them to come home with us. Kol and I laughed at nothing due to the fact we were high off blood and alcohol. Just then our carefree environment was broken by the shrill ring of my phone I pulled it from my pocket and answered.
"Hello sister miss me already" I smirked as Kol laughed in the background.
"Thyra" she whispered she sounded upset I immediately sat up and shot Kol a look he hushed the girls and turned down the music.
"Bekah what is it please tell me Klaus hasn't done something stupid and gotten himself killed" I said trying to ease the tension I knew something was wrong I could feel it.
"It's Finn" her voice breaking "He's dead they killed him" my stomach dropped I heard glass smashing behind me and knew Kol had heard his sister. I swallowed the lump in my throat and replied
"Tell me everything" I demanded
She told me how Sage had come back to town that she burned wickery bridge as it was made from white oak but the Salvatore's still managed to get their hands on some of the killer wood. Then they killed Finn, Just after Finn and Sage had been reunited and it looked as if Finn's death wish was over. She also told me how Stefan had given them eight stakes for Damon's freedom as Rebekah had kidnapped him and torched him they still had three to hand in though. I ended the phone call soon after calming Rebekah down.
I turned back to the living area and found that all the humans were now dead. I walked towards Kol and pulled him into a hug he rested his head on my shoulder and hugged me back. No words were said as I knew Kol wasn't good with emotions or feelings. After a while he pulled away and we both decided it would be best to dispose of the bodies. After we disposed of them Kol disappeared. I knew many human's lives would end tonight but who was I to judge his brother was just killed and this was Kol's way of dealing.
After I got home I decided to bite the bullet and Call him.
"Hey" I whispered when he answered the phone
"I didn't expect to hear from you so soon love according to my brother your having the time of your life but if a sibling dying is what it takes to hear from you I should have done it decades ago" he said sarcastically
"Nik don't go there I called to see how you were" I sad remaining calm
"Finn was nothing but a boar a love sick fool" he said
"This is me your talking to Niklaus now tell me how are you really feeling" I pressed
"I want nothing more then to rip there heads off, Finn may have betrayed us but if he was to die it should have been on our terms no there's" he raged I heard something smash and his heavy breathing through the phone.
"Don't worry my darling we will have our revenge but right now we have to play our cards right otherwise another one of us will be joining Finn in the afterlife" I said
"Your right love" he said seeming more, calm
"I always am Nik, as soon as things in Denver are done I've decided to come home it seems you can't go a week without the worse happening" I laughed
"And you love how are you handling the news of our departed brother" he spoke softly
"I don't know how to feel if I'm being honest Nik" I said I was more worried about the others reaction.
"Well I'm always here if you decided how to feel" he said I then heard Rebekah in the background calling his name
"Well I'll let you deal with Rebekah but be nice Nik" I said
"Always am love" I could hear him smirk
"Nik" I called before he hung up
"Yes"
"I ... I love you" I don't know what made me say it had been a long time since I uttered those words to him but I felt like he needed to hear them and I needed to say them
"I love you too angel forever" He whispered and it made my eyes water and my heart leap as I knew for the first time in decades he meant them.
"And always" I said and hung up.
Unlike the night after I had slept with Klaus I didn't regret telling him I loved him last night. The time away had helped me clear my head I realised how much I missed my husband. I knew things between us would never be the way they were centuries ago Nik and I had changed we weren't young and in love anymore we were older and wiser and the world had made us crueller. Yet after a thousand years we still loved each other, for sixty years I had ran and convinced myself I hated him only for all that hatred to disappear with one look into those blue eyes.
When I returned to mystic falls I would stand by my family and husband maybe I was weak but I guess loving someone for a thousand years can do that.

I was interrupted from my drink by Kol walking through the door
"Look who decided to grace me with his presence" I said
"Did you miss me darling" he said
"Who else would drink with me before midday" I questioned.
"Well unfortunately love we don't have the time the doppelganger and the Salvatore are on there way to find our friend Jeremy apparently our lovely friends have found out that once you kill an original you kill the whole line"
"And they want to know who started off there's so they can kill the rest of us" I finished off his explanation
"Exactly"

An hour later we arrived at the batting cages hoping to get there before the doppelganger and Damon I wore a pair of black ripped skinny jeans a crop bustier top with spaghetti straps and a weird design I paired it with a pair of black leather slip on vans and a long shoulder bag my hair was straightened and left down I defiantly looked the age I was frozen at a thousand years ago.
When we got there and found our friends had already arrived and were talking to baby Gilbert I listened to their conversation but before I could say anything Kol was strolling towards them bat in hand, he struck Damon then grabbed another only for Damon to stake him I sighed as they ran off.
I picked up Kol and removed the pieces of bat then brought him to the car and threw him into the backseat. I then called Klaus
"I forgot how dumb your brother is" I spoke
"What happened" he sighed
"He was staked by Damon Salvatore and is now resting in my backseat unconscious" I said
"So you let the boy get away" he snapped
"Shut up Nik I'm not one of your minions besides I've more important things to do"
"Like" he said still angry
"Like finding the crazy bitch that is Mary Porter you know the original groupie I asked you not to turn because she was obsessed with you" I snapped
"I remember and you seem to forget the only reason I turned her was because you wouldn't speak to me" he said
"Because you killed my personal dress maker do you know how hard it was back then to find someone who made such stunning gowns like her" I replied
"I apologised for that" he sighed
"But you still turned that hag now she's the key to finding out who started the Salvatore's line apparently Mary sired Rose-Marie and Rose is the one who turned Katarina oh and I forgot to mention baby Gilbert is talking to Rose as we speak because he can talk to ghosts" I fumed
"Alright calm down love"
"I will not calm down you will be fine once they find out you sired Mary but the rest of us will be a walking barbecue now tell me where I can find the lunatic so I can end her like I should have done centuries ago" I shouted

An hour later Kol and I were on the way to Kansas to see the Original Groupie as Kol kept calling her he apparently awoke to mine and Klaus's little spat and was very amused with the name I had given Mary.
We soon arrived at the rundown house it had paint peeling wherever you looked the roof was caving in and massive holes littered the structure the garden was over grown and you couldn't see a thing through the windows because of the dirt.
"Looks like the rumours were true" I muttered
"What rumours" Kol asked as we walked to the door he had the bat Damon had stabbed him with in his hand
"That she hides herself from civilisation because she's gone mad" I told him as he knocked and laughed
I heard movement then the door opened their she stood with her now short strawberry blonde hair in curls she wore a white night gown that looked like something from the early 1900s
"Hello Darling did you miss me" Kol smirked putting on his charm
"Kol" she squealed throwing her arms around him. Another thing about Mary she was a slut she had slept with both Elijah and Kol she had tried to sleep with Niklaus but it never happened that was why we hated one another she had even tried it on with Rebekah. I cleared my throat when she started feeling him up
"Thyra" she said shocked and scared at the same time
"Hello Mary are you going to invite us in" I asked
"Yes of course were are my manners" she stuttered
As I suspected the inside wasn't much better than the outside the house was filled with junk. Old news papers stacked up furniture, and knick knacks and rubbish littered everywhere leaving barley any space to walk.
"Love what you've done with the place" I said sarcasm dripping from my voice
"You never know what one could need" she replied in a daze while staring at Kol lovingly.
"You see darling the reason we came here is there are some bad people on the way to see you they want to destroy our family now you don't want that do you" Kol asked
"Of course not my love" Mary said taking his hands and kissing them
"Good now why don't you run upstairs and get changed and we will take you with us to keep you safe" Kol cooed
"NO!" she screamed
"I can't leave here bad things happen outside in the daylight and I can't leave my things my precious things" Mary said gesturing to the junk around her. Yep she was defiantly crazy.
"We can wait till dark and I'll have someone come fetch your um precious things" I said and nodded to Kol
"Now that's sorted why don't we go and get reacquainted" Kol said smirking Mary clapped and grabbed his hand pulling her with him Kol handed me the bat and went with her, Though the double doors beside the living area.
I followed when I heard clothes dropping. I opened the white doors to find Mary undressing Kol. I pulled her away by the hair and she screamed.
"You didn't really think we came here to save you did you? Now I'm going to do what I should have done a long time ago" I sneered then threw her towards the wall before she could reply.
"Goodbye Mary" I said and staked her through the heart with the broken bat.
"You couldn't have waited a little longer" Kol laughed
"Listening to you having sex is not on the top of my to do list" I told him
"Now what" he sighed
"Now we wait".

A few hours later we heard a car pulling up
"Showtime" I whispered to Kol. And we made our way back to the room where I had killed Mary
We heard Damon and Elena talking as they walked through the house I scoffed when I heard Mary and Damon had slept together who didn't this woman sleep with. I found a vase beside me and threw it towards were Mary was dead. I didn't have time for them to search the entire house.
"Mary" Damon whispered when he and Elena entered discovering her dead body.
"Quite contrary" Kol said and turned the Lamp on beside him he now held his new steel bat having learned his lesson with wood. Damon and Elena whipped around to face him not noticing me by the window.
"Shame about Mary she used to be a blast. Don't quite know what happened" Kol said standing up.
"Maybe it was the time spent with our family that ruined her" I spoke making my presence known Elena's heartbeat sped up when she saw me and Damon looked worried
"She was a bit of an original groupie" Kol said smirking in my direction.
"And were you her favourite?" The doppelganger questioned
"You mean did I turn her, I think I did, but no wait maybe it was Rebekah" he told them
"There was also her period with Niklaus and I good times" I smiled
"Let's no forget the Elijah affair Thyra" Kol said
"I spoke to my husband I no you're trying to find who you descended from" I told them stepping closer to Kol.
"Now you never will" Kol them turning towards the dead copse that was Mary.
"So where did we leave off" Kol said to Damon hitting him in the kneecaps with the bat he fell to the ground and Kol hit him again.
"Elena get out of here" Damon said she ran towards the door only for Kol to block her
"My brother says you off limits please don't test me" Kol said and threw her onto the bed.
"Don't touch her" Damon fumed while holding Kol by the neck I walked up behind Damon and pulled him away from Kol throwing him to the ground
"Oh dear I've hit a nerve" Kol laughed
"Pathetic really" I said now examining my nails
"Relax Darling I just want us to be even, you snapped my neck, you killed my brother and then you humiliated me" Then Kol proceeded to hit him with the bat again and again
"Really shouldn't have done that Mr Salvatore he has a sensitive ego our Kol" I said in a board tone. Then Kol finished hitting him
"There now were even" Kol smirked and headed towards the door
"Coming" He asked me I ignored him and picked up Damon by the neck holding him there.
"I heard Rebekah bled you dry of vervain I do love her methods don't you" I laughed then forced him to look into my eyes
"You can remember now" I compelled and let him go making him stumble Damon looked at me in shock
"Tia" he whispered while Elena looked at me confused
"I did always like that name but not as much as my real one though" I mused
"Now we can go" I said walking with Kol out the door leaving a very dazed Damon and confused Elena behind.

When we got back to the penthouse I looked around I was going to miss the carefree lifestyle I had with Kol even if I hadn't been here for long. The all night parties compelling a whole bar so we could drink whoever we wanted and drink whatever booze we wanted. The staff we hired and compelled to wait on us hand and foot the shopping even though the shops here were not as good as the bigger cities.
"You're going back aren't you" Kol asked
"I'm afraid so" I sighed
"I can't convince you" he smirked I shook my heard I then went to my room and packed my things. After I was finished I met Kol in the living area.
"Are you sure you don't want to come back to MysticFalls cause some destruction" I asked trying to tempt him.
"Nah I'm going to explore the 21st century and see what it has to offer" he told me
"Okay" I pouted
"But call me, now that your not in a casket anymore I'd like to know where and how you are" I told him
"Whatever you want darling" he laughed I took my suitcase and headed to the door I turned and kissed Kol's cheek goodbye and walked out the door.

A few hours later I arrived at the mansion and parked my car near the door, I didn't bother getting my bags. I walked inside the house it was dimly lit and the house was quite except four the sound of paint scraping on canvas then brushes being thrown into water and cleaned of paint. It sounded like Klaus had gotten some late night inspiration.
I took my shoes off and padded towards his studio. The door was open when I got there Nik was deep in concentration as he moved his brush across the canvas. He was also barefoot with loose fitting jeans and a white shirt that was wide open showing paint splatters across his defined chest. Okay Thyra no time to drool.
"Must be some masterpiece you working on" I spoke breaking his concentration he looked up at me in surprise.
"I didn't expect you back so soon Thyra" he replied
"I wanted to surprise you" I told him walking towards him. I walked around to his back and wrapped my arms around his torso he was taller than me so I lay my head on his back not before kissing his shoulder.
"I missed you" I whispered I felt him tense when I said this. Nik then turned around in my arms to face me. He lifted my chin with his fingers so I would look at him.
"Did you?" he questioned as if he didn't believe me.
"I did" I said staring into his eyes. I then stepped away from him walking to the living room pouring two glasses of whiskey. I handed him one as I drank mine.
"I did a lot of thinking in Denver" I said keeping my eyes on his so I wouldn't be distracted by his naked torso.
"About?" he asked staring at me as if I would bolt at any second
"Us" I simply replied refilling my glass.
"For the last sixty years I've been running and not only from you but from my feelings for you also. I convinced myself I hated you and that I didn't need someone who betrayed me like you did in my life. When I came back here I keep convincing myself I didn't want you in my life anymore that I was here for just my family. Then your mother comes waltzing in and we ... you nearly die and then we jump into bed and I couldn't deal with the feelings that were resurfacing so I did what I had been doing for decades I ran. Then last night I told you I loved you and I ... do I love you I have loved you for a thousand years and I hope you meant what you said last night because I can't do this anymore this back and forward. What I'm trying to say is I want us to be us again the way they were once upon a time" after I finished pouring my heart out I looked at Nik my Nik who I had loved most of my life he stood staring at me not saying a word.
"Say something please" I whispered he didn't say anything just gathered me in his arms and kissed me with a passion I forgot he possessed he pulled away a few seconds later and lay his head against mine.
"I love you angel. I always have for sixty years I have said love was a vampire's greatest weakness but it was lies because I had lost you now I have you again I will never let you go ever! You are mine and I am yours remember" he told me never breaking our stare
"I remember" I told him thinking back to the night of our wedding.
"Good but theirs one thing missing" he told me as I looked at him confused. He then went to the chain around his neck which held a tiny handmade pouch and pulled it from his neck. He opened the pouch into his hand and two rings fell into his hand one a simple rose gold band and the second was also a rose gold band with a large diamond in the middle and little diamonds surrounding it with a circular design around either side. Klaus had bought them many centuries ago on one on one of our wedding anniversaries it was around the time wedding rings were introduced I had left them in New York with him in 1954. I then noticed his wedding band had also been placed on his finger.
"I want everyone to know you're taken" he said taking my hand and placing the rings on my ring finger. I smiled as the fit just as perfect as the day I first put them on. I felt Nik rub under my eyes I hadn't realised I'd been crying. I then leaned up and kissed him
"Take me to bed Nik" I whispered he picked me up and threw me over his shoulder and ran towards our room as I laughed. Right now in this moment everything was perfect.
A/N Klaus and Thyra are back together who's happy? And how long will it last?? Vote and comment I really want input on this chapter.
