"I'm home!" Michael yelled, opening the front door.
"How was your day?" You asked when he sat beside you on the couch.
"It was great. All the meetings went good and we had a really nice lunch. We're going out for drinks later, are you coming?" Michael said.
"That's good. Seriously? I thought we could just stay in tonight and watch a movie or something. It feels like we haven't hung out in ages," you pouted.
"But I've already told everyone I'd go," Michael whined and rested his head on your shoulder.
"No, it's fine. You can go out, I'll stay here. We can watch a movie tomorrow or something," you said and kissed his head.
"You don't like it when you're here alone at night," Michael said.
"I'll be fine. I can just ask one of the girls to come over," you shrugged.
"Fine!" Michael said. "I'll stay in seeing as you've made me feel so guilty."
"Yay!" You cheered and kissed his cheek. "What would movie should we watch?"
"You can choose. I'm sure you had one in mind," Michael said.
"Well, now that you mention it, I did!" You laughed. "The new Pixar movie is out on DVD so we could go get it."
"And some snacks while we're on the way?" Michael said, cocking his eyebrow.
"Well, if you want," you laughed and hugged him. "Thanks for staying in with me tonight. I've really missed you even though we share a bed each night."
"It's okay. I think I'd rather stay in with you than go out tonight really," Michael said.
