Evangeline's POV
"So.... Uh.... Why'd you fucking push me David?" I asked, overfriendly.
"I pushed you?" He asked.
"Yes. When you spun around to yell at your gang members! I fucking fell! Thank God Jay was there or I would have fallen on my ass!" I yelled. I was so pissed I couldn't even fathem how he was so calm.
"Don't stand behind me then. Duh." He said. That hurt my feelings. Time to return the favor.
"AT LEAST WHEN I WAS WITH TYLER HE DIDN'T SHOVE ME!" I screamed. I instantly regretted saying that.
"Well fine! Go live Tyler then! Clearly your his." David hissed coldly.
"I'm not Tyler's! I'm not anyone's!" I screamed. Tyler can go fuck himself. He's a mean, cruel Gang Leader. And I'm not a possession.
"Well,"
David walked behind me and wrapped his arms around my waist.
"What if I want you to be mine?" He whispered in my ear. I blushed. How did this turn from a fight to David confessing his feelings to me?
"Um..... I don't know.." I said. He sighed.
"Of course she doesn't like me. I'm a gang leader for Christ's sake." He said to himself, walking away. I turned around and walked up to him.
"No no no no. That's not what I meant." I apologized. I kissed him to shut him up. We pulled away for air. I smiled at him then fixed my glasses.
"How about this: You take me on a date then maybe I will give us a try." I compromised. He smirked.
"Would you like to go on a date with me, Evangeline?" He asked, getting on one knee.
"I guess." I said, trying to sound like I don't care when really I'm freaking out inside. He pouted.
"... Fine. Yes, I'll go on a date with you, David. But you have to take me home first." I said, smirking at him. He threw me over his shoulder and preceded down the stairs. I squealed.
"What are you doing?! Let me go!!" I yelled while laughing.
"Nope. I kind of really like this view." He replied. I could practically hear the smirk in his voice.
