Picture of Robin to your right :)
“So where are we going?” Kyle asked. I raised my eyebrows. Did Kyle not ask me to skip? Did Kyle not make a big scene in front of everybody? Did Kyle not yank me away from my lunch and school? So why doesn’t Kyle know where we’re going? Key word here; Kyle. “I thought you knew, you were the one that wanted to leave.” I replied.
He frowned, “I just wanted to get away from Hannah. She’s been acting crazy for the last couple of days” I rolled my eyes, I did not sign up for the “listen to my problems” job, “Kyle, either show me a good time or take me back to school. The last thing I want to hear right now is your girlfriend’s name.” He laughed, “You’re something else you know that. Alright, you’re probably hungry, wanna get some food then?” I nodded.
We drove in silence after that. After a few minutes, we pulled into a cute little diner. The place was small, and adorable. There was a lake right behind the place. Who builds a restaurant in front of a lake?
I got out the car and followed Kyle inside. The place was completely empty, but Kyle sill made us wait to be seated. Finally an old man came out with a cigar in his mouth, he took a look at us and yelled, “Molly?! We’ve got customers in the front!” he then walked back into the kitchen a cloud of smoke following him. I snickered, old people were so funny.
Kyle turned to face me, “So about what happened in the cafeteria, I’m sorry. I didn’t mean…” I raised my hand cutting him off. “You’re a bad boy now Kyle, you don’t have to answer to anybody now, ok?” he smiled, happy that I wasn’t mad. He ran his hand through his hair and I swear I would die; the boy could’ve been a model.
“Hello there.” An older woman appeared and welcomed us. She took us towards a table in the back, took our orders, and left. “So Leigh, what brought you here to start trouble in our usually quiet town?” Kyle joked. “Look we’re not here to bond and stuff. We haven’t really got to discuss the changes you need to be making, so if you wanna talk, let’s talk about that,” He frowned, but nodded in agreement anyway.
“So what should I be doing?” he asked. “Well the scene in the caf was a good start. By now, everybody is talking about you and Hannah’s argument. Plus, you admitted to cheating on her, so that helps you new image. Now we need to screw around with your parents. Their testament will be the most important for our project.” He raised his eyebrows in surprise.
“What?” I snapped. That blush that I love spread across his face, “Sorry, I just was shocked to think you cared about what grade we got.” I sighed, “Well I do, and stop apologizing. Bad boys don’t do that.” Just then, the waitress came out and put two huge burgers in front of us. My mouth watered.
We ate quickly and asked for the bill, “The food here is great” I told him. “Yeah, me and my brother used to come here all the time” he looked distant as he said it. I frowned, please don’t let his brother be dead, and Kyle has some kind of traumatic experience because those types of guys are the absolute worst.
The waitress put the check on the table. Kyle place ten dollars on the table and stood up, “Um, Kyle? The bill is eighteen bucks.” I picked up the ten, “This isn’t enough”. He smirked, “Bad boys don’t buy shit, unless he’s getting something in return” he winked and walked out. I laughed and threw the ten dollars my mom gave me onto the table. Now he’s getting the hang of it.
I walked outside to the car, and Kyle was nowhere to be found. Where the hell was he? Someone whistled and I turned around to see Kyle, standing there, by the lake, shirtless. Now there are a few things in life that make my jaw drop. For instance; The Niagara Falls, The Grand Canyon, the ending of the last Resident Evil movie, and now adding to that list is Kyle shirtless.
The boy was physically fit. How was this even fair? What was his flaw? He was hot, smart, funny, and he had the body of a greek god. There was no way that many good qualities could be for one person.
“Done staring yet, because I wanna swim.” he said in an amused tone. He wanted to show off his body, well fine I could do the same. I pulled off my tank top as I walked towards him in my bra. His eyes widened, and I had to keep the grin that was trying to break out onto my face under control.
“I stopped inches in front of him, your turn “good boy”.” He smiled and started unbuckling his pants. I wanted to gasp at his bluntness but I kept it under wraps. He pulled off his boots and socks, and shrugged his pants off, standing only in his boxers. “Your turn “bad girl”,” I had to stop the blush that was threatening to spread across my face. What the hell, I didn’t even now I was capable of blushing.
I suddenly felt super self-conscious, “I can swim in my shorts.” He smirked, still inches away from my face. I felt his fingers unbuttoning my jeans shorts and tugging them down. I gasped at his new found courage as he pulled my jeans down to my feet.
What the hell, he was already checking me out, no need to be self-conscious anymore. I kicked off my slippers and jeans, and ran into the lake. I dived in letting the cool water wash over my body. I looked up to see Kyle rushing towards me and pulling me under with him.
I shoved him away and came back up for air, “So how are we going to mess with my parents?” he asked as he came up. His hair was wet and sticking to his forehead. I really wanted to kiss him, but for some odd reason, I was feeling very nervous around him. “Um, firstly, do you have a curfew?” he nodded looking embarrassed that he had to admit to such a thing.
“Well first thing, we are going out on Friday. We can go with Carson and Stacey. I really need to get Robin out too.” Kyle laughed, “Leigh, there are absolutely no clubs in this town, at all.” I shrugged, “Well we are just going to have to find one then.” I swam until I was in the shallow part of the lake and got out.
“Come on, I’m going to have to dry up and get home before my mom. She’ll be livid if she knew I skipped on the third day” I pulled on my clothes and made my way to the car, I needed to get away from Kyle for a minute, I felt like I couldn’t breathe when he was close. What the hell? I’ve known the guy for a total of three days. Ugh!
I sat on the hood of the car waiting for him to hurry up. He walked up in his jeans and boots…only. Great, just fucking great, he was shirtless again. “Put on your shirt before you get cold.” I nagged. He shrugged and got in the car. I sighed, jumped off the hood and got in, “Why did you get out of the water so quickly? Did I do something wrong?” he asked as soon as I sat down.
“Nah, I was just getting cold, and I wanna get home before Tina.” I told him. He pulled on his seatbelt, a questioning look on his face, “You call your mom by her first name?” I laughed at his expression, “Let’s get going hun” He started the car, and we were in front of my house after ten minutes.
I opened the door and turned back to him, “Aren’t you coming?” I asked. He jumped up and got out the car, “I didn’t know if I was invited” he replied. I sighed, “Invite yourself; you’re a bad boy now Kyle. Jesus, how many times are we going to go over this? Do I have to spell it out for you? B.A.D B.O.Y.” He rolled his eyes and walked past me and onto the front porch.
We went inside and I headed to my room, him following close behind, “I’m going to get a shower, you can bathe after me.” He nodded, and sat on my bed. I grabbed a towel, and headed to the bathroom in the hallway. I showered and brushed my teeth. You never know what might happen right?
I looked around the bathroom, and realized I forgot my clothes. Oh great! He’s probably going to think I’m trying to seduce him or something. Actually maybe I should try something, see how he acts under pressure. I laughed to myself, this will be fun.
I walked into my room, my hair still dripping. He was lying on my bed staring up at the ceiling. I slammed the door closed. He jolted and sat up, his eyes widening as he looked at my face, down the length of my body and then back at my face. I blushed. I actually just blushed.
I slowly walked over to him, swaying my hips ever so slightly. He narrowed his eyes as I stopped right in front of him. I pulled him up off the bed and stood him in front of me. I took his hands and put them on my waist. I put my hands in his hair and pulled him close to my face, his breath fanning over my face. He closed his eyes moving his lips closer to mine.
I abruptly turned my head to the side, his lips colliding with the side of my face. He pulled back confused, “Do not be seduced, be the seducer Kyle” I told him with a smirk. He groaned, grabbed a towel off my bed, and brushed past me.
I got dressed and went to the kitchen to have a bowl of ice cream. As soon as I took out the tub of ice cream, someone started knocking on the door. I groaned. There is never a peaceful moment for me. I made my way to the door, and pulled it open.
“I need your help” I laughed, “What do you need babe?” She walked past me and into the house. “I need help getting the attention of a guy” she said with a serious expression. “Robin, you wouldn't happen to be talking about our dear Carson by any chance? I asked mockingly.
