"When my price got fixed."
Chapter 20:
"You can't do this to me Bella." Edward cried as he rested his head on my chest and hugged me.
"But Edward you don't love me." i whispered as i slowly massaged his head.
"I love you Bella, i really do." he said wiping away his tears.
"No Edward, now it's too late. I love Daniel and not you." i smiled weakly.
"No Bella please, i won't be able to live without you." he sat on his knees and begged me.
"I'm really sorry Edward, no." i said and turned around to walk away.
"So that's what you want, you don't want me to live anymore. Alright Bella Horan goodbye." he smirked.
I turned around to face him.
"Meet you sometime soon, have a gorgeous life." he said and opened his arms wide and with a smile on his face, he jumped off the cliff.
"Edward!" i screamed his name.
My eyes flew open. My heart beat was racing and i was sweating.
"Calm down Bella, it was just a dream." i assured myself.
The thoughts of yesterday's night flooded my mind. I felt polluted, i felt bad. I was carrying Edward's child yet i made love with Daniel. I couldn't just believe that i let him do what he wanted to do with me. Yes, i said i love him but i'm confused. Confused if it's really love or i just like Daniel. I got absolutely no idea what it is but i'll be able to find it out soon. Making the choice is not that easy, one side i have Edward who doesn't love me and cheated me and on the other side there's Daniel who loves me from all his heart. This is gonna be really difficult.
I stepped out of the bed and wrapped a towel around my naked body. Daniel was nowhere to be found and i reckoned he was in the kitchen.
I took a warm shower which was pretty much long.
My clothes were washed, ironed and placed neatly on the table.
I dressed myself and got downstairs. The house was silent, i could only hear myself breathing. No one was around.
I decided to cook something for myself because now I'm not alone, i got a life growing inside me.
I found a note on the kitchen island with my name on it. I opened it quickly and read what it said.
"Dear Bella, Wondering where your Daniel is? Well, you won't just find me so easily. All you gotta do is find me, i've got something special in store for you. I bet you don't wanna miss that. So now cook something for yourself first, in that process you will find your next clue which will eventually lead you to ME. ;) Love, Daniel. xx"
What is Daniel? A 10 year old? He wants to play hide and seek with me? What the hell is wrong with him? But he said that he has got a surprise for me. Yeah i'm not interested in this game but the suspense is killing me. Well whatever, i'll cook the food and hopefully will find my next clue.
With that i paused my thoughts for a few moments and started cooking.
I made omelet, toast and tea for myself.
I found my next clue placed on the plate i picked out for breakfast.
I opened it with alot of excitement and read it.
"I see you made some really good breakfast, the smell is mesmerising. Now just eat it without getting anymore excited and after you're done eating, you'll find your next clue. Enjoy love. ;) Love, Daniel. xx"
I smiled to myself, how silly could he be. But it was cute at the same time.
I ate my breakfast in minutes and placed the dishes in the sink.
I found another note stuck on the sink tap.
I opened it with much more excitement than before.
"Aw love, you found this note pretty easily. You're pretty witted. ;) well, so the question arises, Where is Daniel? Near you yet a bit far away. I know you love watching TV, yeh? So go, your next clue is waiting. Love, Daniel. xx"
I sighed. This guy is gonna turn me into a mad lady.
I walked out of the kitchen in the living room. I bet he left the note on the tv. I checked the place around the tv but the note was nowhere to be found. I was getting tired by now.
I sat down on the couch with my head in my hands. I took a deep breathe and thought of watching tv so that my mind would be much more relaxed. My hands reached for the remote control and i pressed the power button. The TV was not switched on, i pressed the power button again, the TVA was not switched on.
I opened the remote control to check the batteries and found a very small note between the batteries.
I opened the note and read it.
"Cannot believe you actually found this note. Commendable. Well i don't like to tease you that much. So i would appreciate if you would walk upstairs and go to the room on the left, your next clue is waiting. ;) Love, Daniel. xx"
I couldn't contain my excitement and rushed to the room as fast as possible. The room was dark so i switched on the lights. A beautiful purple gown layed on the bed with a note on it.
I sat down on the bed and opened the note.
"You're pretty much near me. Have a look at the clock now. At 5pm, you have to wear this dress and get to the car parked in the front yard. Couldn't wait to see you. ;) now hurry up, you don't have much time left to get ready young lady. Love, Daniel. xx"
I looked at the clock it was 1:30pm. That is pretty much time, good 3:30 hrs for me.
I spent the afternoon munching some potato chips which i found in one of the kitchen cupboards and waited for the clock to strike 3:00.
At exactly 3:00 pm, i rushed to get ready. The same routine with shower, makeup, wearing clothes and final touch ups. At about 4:50pm, i was completely ready.
The dress was extremely beautiful, it was long and flowy. My hair was set in a perfect bun and my makeup was perfectly done.
I grabbed the keys of the car which were kept along with the gown and headed downstairs.
I really had no idea what exactly Daniel wanted to do but i was excited about how it's gonna turn out.
I stepped out of the house and searched for the car in the front yard. His mansion was so huge and beautiful. The sun was setting down now and the sun rays were a mixture of orange and yellow colours.
I found the car and slowly walked towards it picking up my dress in my hands.
On reaching the car, a note was placed on the windshield.
I opened it.
"Only a step far from me. I know you're too excited to see me. ;) So all you gotta do is get in the car and find the route to the 'Dark woods lake' on GPS. Don't be late, i'll be waiting eagerly with your surprise. Love, Daniel."
I sighed in relief. Finally, no more clues and i see my surprise.
I brought life to the engine and followed the route to the dark woods lake.

"Finally i'm here." i sighed. The drive was a good 45 minutes drive and the place was deserted. No one was found by my eyes as far as my eyes roamed.
I slowly got down from the car. My baby bump was not visible yet so i guess i was looking perfectly alright.
The place was scented with a smell of lavenders.
There were tall trees and a narrow path lead me inside the clueless place. Yeah the name 'Dark woods lake' was perfect for this place.
Picking up my dress in my hands, i walked in the clueless place.
I could see some lights at a distance so i followed the path of the lights.
On reaching the place, my eyes were wide.
It was like someone made a 5 star hotel in the middle of the woods.
A beautiful table was placed near the lake. A purple carpet was laid which leads to the table. Cool breeze was flowing, leaving me cold. The place was pretty much bright. There was little floating candles placed in the lake.
I was impressed by the way the place was executed.
"Bella." i heard a voice and two arms wrapped around my waist.
"You finally found your Daniel." he kissed my cheek.
"Where's my surprise?" i asked impatiently.
"Not so early, there are other things to be finished first." his grip on my waist loosened, as he grabbed my hand and pulled me behind him.
"Okay now it's the time." he murmured and got down on one knee.
"Look Bella, i know Edward is not worth you. But i can give you whatever you want, i'll treat you right. I know it might be too early for you but the decision is yours. Bella, i really love you. Will you marry me?" he smiled with a beautiful diamond ring in his hand.
I couldn't believe my ears. This is actually happening, i guess this is what destiny planned for me. This is my only way to escape Edward.
"ye-" i paused as i heard a voice, a voice i never wished i heard.
"Bella wait." he called my name.
I turned around to face Edward. He looked like a complete wreck. Swollen red eyes, hair in a mess. He was staring at me, he had so much hope and love in his eyes.
"Don't do this to me Bella, please. I realized my mistake, i didn't treat you right, i cheated you. You could slap me if you want. But i love you Bella, i really do." he said with teary eyes.
"No Bella, don't listen to him. It might be another trick of his. Don't trust him Bella, he'll leave you in a mess again. I love you more than anyone ever will." Daniel said with a stern voice.
"This is not a trick. I've realized my mistake. I've realized that i've lost a rare pearl. I want you to trust me one last time. I'll prove your trust right. Please give me a chance?" Edward begged sitting on both of his knees.
"Don't trust him, i've warned you. He just plays with people. So what if he's the Vampire king, he doesn't rule the world. You need to give me a chance." Daniel said.
I looked at Edward. "You're the vampire king? You never told me." i said with wide eyes.
"You never asked me. I'll make you my queen. I'll marry you, we'll raise our child together. I just need a chance to correct my mistake." he looked at me, his gaze stern on me.
"Look Bella, no one's forcing you, now the decision is all yours. You have to make a choice, me or Edward." Daniel said with a low voice.
I just rubbed my face. I knew this day would come. I've to choose any one of them. On one side is my first love Edward who wants to correct his mistake and on the other side, there's Daniel who loves me from all his heart. This is gonna be tough but i've made my mind.
"I don't know why i'm doing this. I don't want to hurt any of you to be honest. I love you both really but now i've to make a choice. Scars are faded but memories still remain, some good memories and other bad memories." i paused and looked at Edward.
"Anger makes us take certain steps which we don't intend to take. People move on, i've also moved on." i paused as i heard Edward sigh and he turned around and started walking.
"But as i said, the good memories remain. The first love is always special, it leaves a mark on you. So i guess today i've chosen my first love over everything else. Mr. Edward Turner i've chosen you." i finished. Edward paused in his path and turned around with the brightest smile on his face.
"You-you ch-chose me?" he stammered as he walked towards me.
"Yes, i chose you and i love you." i whispered and pecked his lips.
"I swear i'll never again be a prick again. I love you." he hugged me.
"Well i guess i became the villain in the story." i heard Daniel sigh.
I turned around to face him.
"No Daniel, i love you but i guess i love Edward more." i said.
"It's alright Bella, i wish you luck for your life ahead." he said and turned around to walk away.
I walked up-to Daniel and grabbed him by his collar as i smashed my lips with his. His breathe had the same tinge of smoke. He rubbed my back constantly. Our lips parted after what felt like forever.
"You were never the villain in the story." i whispered.
"I still love you but now your man is waiting for you, i don't wanna come between you both. My lovely lady will be a queen now." Daniel kissed my forehead.
"And Edward, mind you hurt my lady again, my eyes will be always on you." Daniel smiled weakly gesturing his index and middle fingers towards Edward.
"Now go, your man is waiting for you." he said and turned around.
I walked towards Edward but my eyes were on Daniel. He slowly walked away and soon was out of sight.
"So now that my love is with me and my child too, don't you think we're missing something Bella?" Edward raised a brow.
I shrugged.
Edward got down on one knee and grabbed my hand.
"Now i don't want you to take anymore pains. I want you to be mine forever. I love you with all my heart and i will forever and always. So maybe it's time that you steal my last name. Bella, will you marry me?" he smiled brightly.
"Yes." i whispered and he hugged me placing kisses all over my face.
"I just can't wait to see you walk down the aisle." he pecked my lips.
"And i can't wait to get in that wedding dress." i hugged him tightly.

I know i've updated really very late but i didn't let your hopes down i guess.
I've been travelling and been busy alot lately. Apologies.
The story's ending pretty soon i guess. I'll end it before may ends.
I'm not planning to write any other story at the moment but lets see if i write another one.
