It's been a couple of months since me and Luke have been dating, and we are still going strong.
"Luc, I need to talk to you" He said, a little nervous
"Is it a bad thing?" I was so worried
"No, I just wanna talk to you about something" I sat down next to him
"Ok, so it's totally fine if you don't agree but I feel ready" He takes a deep breath "Well, I don't know why I'm so nervous but I feel like we should get our own house" he said
I just stared at him
"I know it's been a couple of months, but I feel ready and we have been going strong and we have got through all the bad times, if you don't feel ready then that's fine and we can just stay here until you are ready" He told me
"Actually, I've been thinking about that too but I wasn't sure if you were ready or not" I giggled "but I do feel ready"
"shall we go and talk to your mum about this?" he suggested
I nodded my head, I was so excited because me and Luke could actually start our future
"Mum, can me and Luke talk to you about something please?"
"Of course" We took a seat and I looked at Luke who nodded his head
"Ok, so me and Luke have already discussed this and we feel like we are both ready to get our own house. Obviously, we wanted to check with you first and see if you would let me"
"Ok" she started "well you are still kind of young but.. what you two have is something special. You two are made for each other so I guess its fine" She said
My mum literally agrees with everything I do and she doesn't need ages to think about it.
"Really?" Me and Luke said in unison
"Yeah, how about you two go looking at houses tomorrow?" She asked
"Yeah, ok then"
