Pie's POV

I woke up to a gentle touch on my cheek and the soft touch continued to bother me when it trailed down along my jaw line. It somehow sent a tingling sensation through my whole form and I groaned loudly to it. I don't want to wake up. Please stop disturbing my sleep.

"Go away!" I pushed the bothersome thing away with my hand. No; I didn't sense anything but an empty air. Awhile later, I heard someone giggling softly beside me and my eyes fluttered open in a snap. I stared to exactly where the sound came from. There it was, wait that was not correct. There she was; Kim had her eyes all on me.

"Good morning, my wife." Kim beamed. She brought a finger to touch my nose lightly before she caressed my cheek with her thumb. God! Where did she get all those GOOD in the morning? I don't think I have one today.

"Why did you wake me up?" I pulled the comforter to cover my face. It was quite cold this morning. I was freezing. That was strange; my room temperature has never reached this low until I barely feel my toe. "Oh!" I gasped. "I need to prepare you breakfast." I quickly get up from the bed. God! How can I forget about it?

Instead of seeing a satisfaction look on Kim's face when she finally caught me not doing my task, I saw Kim threw me a bewildered look. I gazed back at her in daze and quickly looked down to check my entire body. My night shirt was finely hung on my petite frame. There's nothing wrong with me.

Realizing I'm in confuse, Kim finally spoke up. "Did you forget that we are in London?" Kim sighed, pinching the bridge of her nose as if she was trying to stifle laughter. I hurriedly brushed my gaze around the room. The tom was right! It was not my room back in Thailand. This was the room that we checked in yesterday. How could I forget that?

"Hurry up. Get your change." Kim said as she rose from her feet. "We are going to stroll around this city today." She added and walked delicately to the couch. Then it dawned upon me that Kim was already in her perfect outfit - she wore a yellow round neck shirt, pitch black pants and matched it with a black leather jacket. She always looked good and no need to mention the rest. She would never fail to impress any girls who have a look at her for the first time. Me? I'm sick with it already.

"I want to take a shower." I said to her and saw she nodded.

"Go ahead my lady but please hurry up. We are running out of time." Kim tapped on her wristwatch in warning gesture. Why did we need to hurry anyway? I want to ask but I know it would be pointless. We would end up quarrelling over a small matter early in the morning.

As soon as I stepped out from the bathroom, Kim's figure was nowhere to be seen. Where did she go? She didn't even tell me. Did I take too long in the shower that she had no choice but to leave me for the errand? I glanced to the digital clock on the desk beside the couch; I didn't take that long though. It was just five minutes. I already get myself dressed inside the bathroom. No way I would go naked when the pervert psychopath Kimhan Jittaleela in the room with me. That would be a great danger. When I thought she left me for real, suddenly Kim emerged from the door, talking to somebody on the phone. There she was; being too mysterious since we arrived here. First, she didn't allow me to have a look at her phone and today, she talked to someone. Come on! Who could that possibly be? She said it's her first time to be in London. Did she already make friends with local people here? I don't think so. Don't you dare to think I am jealous. I'm not and would never will. I'm just... curious. Yes! That's the right term.

"Done?" Kim asked to me when she ended the call. I nodded my yes. I watched Kim arranged her steps to me and ridiculously I couldn't move any single bone of my skeleton. She brushed her gaze at me from my head to toe before she smiled sheepishly. I frowned for that reaction.

"You're always beautiful Pie." Kim said. "No drop that." The tom shook her head. "You're heavenly gorgeous." Her eyes sparkled so bright when she uttered the compliment to me and I, involuntarily blushed for it. Why Pie? Why? Oh I know. Kim never really praised me for my beauty previously. She always said that I was such a nerd, short and helplessly sexy ugly duckling.

"Ugh stop that Kim." I managed a deadpan expression. "Shall we go now?" I cocked my head to the right, waiting for a further instruction from her. I thought we were about to head somewhere today.

"We'll have our breakfast first. I don't want you to get sick." Kim told me. She grabbed a few of her stuffs from the bed and kept them in her mini backpack. I did the same too but I have my purse. You know how a girl could possibly be; always take anything she thought 'necessary'.

"Where are we going Kim?" I queried to her as we walked side by side along the path. Kim glanced at me and smiled. Instead of answering me, she took my hand in hers. She made us walked arm in arm by now. I wanted to protest but she kept me firm.

"You'll know it later." Kim told me. The elevator ding opened and we entered it. Soon enough, we arrived at the ground floor. Kim led me to the left and just in the nick of time, we reached a small restaurant. The seats were almost occupied but I spotted some were not. This could be the hotel's brasserie I presumed, since everybody was here for their morning meal.

"I'm planning to take you somewhere for breakfast but since you woke up pretty late, we shall get something here instead." Kim said as we paced to an empty table. I shot her a look but she wasn't really looking at me. Kim tried to be a gentlewoman as she could always possibly be when she dragged the chair for me. Perhaps she should really stop doing that for me. I can do it myself.

"You know, you can always wake me up a bit earlier." I pouted once we were seated.

This time, Kim quickly gazed at me. "I thought someone is annoyed when I tried to wake her up just now?" Her eyebrows furrowed in tease.

"If that was what you call waking up someone..." I began. Kim looked at me intently. "Day 2 as my spouse. YOU FAILED." I clicked my tongue loudly on the failed. Kim stared at me - dumbfounded. She blinked her eyes in disbelief. The tom didn't manage to utter anything when the waiter came to approach us. It's time to make an order. When I took a look at Kim again, she was still gazing at me with her mouth slightly opened. I smirked mischievously. If Kim wanted to play the game, I don't wish to be defeated either.

*******

I don't feel that I need much for my breakfast. I took a cup of freshly brewed coffee and also some English muffins. My head was a bit dizzy up until now. Because of that, I lost my appetite. Kim said it might be the effect of the jet lag. It happened when we crossed different time zones and regions of the world. The tom however seemed not too affected with it. Perhaps she used to travel a lot but me; this kind of thing was entirely new unpleasant experience.

Talking about Kim, let's look what she had for her breakfast today. Kim took this full English breakfast set. She had scrambled eggs, back bacon, Cumberland sausage, black pudding, sautéed mushrooms, herbed grilled tomatoes, sautéed potatoes, hash browns and baked beans. Wow! What a big eater. Perhaps if I don't feel this sick, I'm joining her as well but thanks, I couldn't now or I'll puke all over her shirt in no time.

"Want some?" Kim asked, lifting a spoonful of baked bean to me. I shook my head no. "It's delicious." She said again with her full mouth. For some reason, she quickly covered her mouth as she spoke. I knew if she didn't do that, all inside her mouth will spray out to my direction.

"I'm sorry." Kim said when she swallowed them all. I gave her a small nod but then, I spotted some dirt on her chin.

"You eat like a child." I complained and reached for the napkin. "Don't talk when your mouth is full." I wiped off the dirt. I sensed that Kim froze to her seat and when I brought my gaze back to her, she was staring at me with an obvious blush on her cheeks. Did I tell you that we sat side by side? See how close I could see her face. Well, Kim looked cute when she flushed. Adorable! Snap that Pie! Drop it! Drop it! Kim wasn't cute.

"Thank you." Kim lowered her gaze. Gosh! When did Kim learn to be this timid and shy? Or perhaps jet lag has different effect on this tom? It has turned her cool act upside down.

"Perhaps if you could finish that faster..." My eyes dropped to her plate. "We can get out of here as soon as possible." I told her. Surprisingly Kim just nodded her head like an obedient child. I don't know that it could be very easy to handle this tom here. Well, don't anticipate things too soon Pie. You know Kimhan Jittaleela and she was always unpredictable.

***********************************************************************

Kim took me to a place where I figured out to be a waiting station for bus - that's it bus stop. There were quite many people here since it was summer. Parents took their children for holiday and not to forget some might be couples who were on their honeymoon like us. Us? Alright this honeymoon wasn't really a honeymoon though but here we were. I clutched my hand to Kim's arm tightly as I gazed to the crowd. They were all towered over me and I was practically just a small and petite Asian girl after all. I feigned a smile to anyone who came to greet me with theirs. They looked like monsters who were trying to swallow me alive whenever they looked down and found my eyes. Though the foreigners and locals greet me with a warm smile, it still scared the hell out of me since they were strangers.

There were a few buses queuing along the road but Kim didn't drag me to any of them. The buses might not be the exact transportation to the place we were heading to. Speaking of that, Kim had not yet tell me where we were about to visit. She kept saying that I'll know soon and it somehow irritated me. Five minutes of standing there, a group of English teenage girls came to approach Kim, completely ignoring me who stood by her side. They looked like local girls and not to mention drop dead gorgeous too.

"Hi." The blonde girl made her first move while the other stood around her. Her cheeks grew redder as she smiled flirtatiously to Kim. What's wrong with her?

"Hi." Kim greeted her back and I frowned.

"My friends and I have been watching you awhile ago." The girl spoke. I could have sworn that my eyes were about to pop out of its socket to hear that. They were stalking Kim? Stalking Kim when obviously Kim was all the time with me?! That's so improper.

"And we thought you look like a Korean Idol." The girl flushed even more. I felt my inner self laughing. Kimhan Jittaleela looked like a Korean Idol? No way! She's this ugly tom who was such a dork. They don't know how hideous it could be when Kim smirked. Kimhan Jittaleela was way too far to reach an idol status.

"Well pardon me ladies but I'm not a Korean idol." Kim said, rubbing the back of her head like a shy boy who was in his first move to his favourite girl. "I'm just a mere architect back in my homeland, Thailand but sometimes I do modelling. My name is Kimhan Jittaleela." Kim said and I saw the girls gasped. They exchanged their gazes to each other before they turned to look at Kim again. I couldn't register of what was really happening but the girls suddenly screamed like a crazy fan girls. Everybody started to shift their attention to us. These girls brought us to shame.

Kim averted her eyes to me as if I could give her an explanation on why the girls behaved that way. I shook my head, not knowing what was happening. After awhile, their screaming came to a halt. This time a brunette girl came to reach for Kim's hands.

"You're the famous model people have been talking about." She beamed.

"Me?" Kim pointed to herself. She glanced to me in disbelief and so did I. We exchanged our startled look but then it snapped in split seconds when one of them drew Kim away from me. Where did she think she's taking my Kim? Wait, MY Kim? Correct that - just Kim.

"Yes. You appeared in the magazine. They picked up random models around the world once a month and you'd appear for the last month's issue." The girl told her with all her admiration. I kept my eyes to the girl's hands. She pissed me off when she kept on holding Kim. Drop that hand already. No need to touch Kim here and there.

"I see." Kim rubbed her neck again, in that silly gesture of a lover sick girl.

"Can we have some pictures with you?" The other girl stepped forward, ready with her phone. What it could possibly be? A selfie of course! She came closer to Kim and I swore I'd see Kim pulled her by the waist. They stood almost at the same height and the girl's cheeks touched hers perfectly! Then the other girls took her opportunity until all of them were done. I tapped on my foot impatiently. A few buses have changed and we wasted our time here for these sick fan girls.

Each of them went to look for their picture, checking if it was all fine. After somewhat I thought it was over, suddenly one with the red hair suggested that they took a group picture. Her green eyes met mine. She smiled to me but I was not interested to return one. "Hi, there." She waved her hand to me. "Could you please help us for some shoots?" She requested. Oh my Lord, oh my God. Please spare me some more patient before I'd burst out to these people. I glared at Kim and the tom fidgeting on her feet. She knew what it meant; she's so dead.

"Sure." I stepped forward and took the phone from the girl. Kim stood in the middle and the girls surrounded her. Again, it irritated me when Kim held the girls at her sides by the waist or perhaps on the butt? Pervert! I should have known that since the beginning. I took some snaps of their picture before handed it back to the owner. The red hair girl thanked me for my help and I just nodded my head uninterestedly.

"So, what are you doing here?" The brunette one asked to Kim. I thought they were going to part already.

"I'm having a vacation." Kim said. "With my fiancée." She averted her eyes to me and the girls traced it. There was somewhat a disappointed look on their face and I could have smiled my victory. There you go bitches. Your so called Korean idol was taken.

"Oh." The girl's mouth formed a perfect 'O' as she observed me from distance. I walked myself to Kim's side again and the tom hugged me by the shoulder.

"Well, I guess we shall go now." The girl said. "Have a good time here." She said before all of them walked away.

"Enjoy your time with those hotties?" I dodged away from Kim.

"Come on sweetheart." Kim stepped an inch closer to me. "I'm just trying to be friendly." The tom said innocently.

"Yeah, friendly your ass!" I snapped at her. It startled me too; I have never used harsh words to Kim. Kim returned a dumbfounded look at me but I was too infuriated to mind it. There was a bus which was about to move. I ran towards the moving vehicle and hopped on. Even though Kim ran after me, she didn't manage to get in. The door of the bus slammed close in a split second. I don't know why I should feel this mad but one thing I was so sure, the resentment was real.

***********************************************************************

Somehow, I regret it that I ran away from Kim. Fright started to engulf me. I don't know where we were heading to but when majority of the passengers got out of the bus, I'd follow them. We walked down the street and stuck at one crowded place. It seemed like everybody was waiting for something to occur. Cursed my height! I couldn't really see what was happening then. Every time I tried to have a look, I'd end up seeing people's back or lower abs.

"Need some help?" Someone tapped on my shoulder. I turned around for a look. It's Kim. A slight feel of relief rushed down my veins but I managed to glare at her in annoyance.

"I found you." Kim grinned and pinched my cheeks. "You shouldn't run away just like that. I'm worried sick that you might get lost." She continued as she scanned me all over the face. The beautiful brown eyes penetrated mine in loving gaze which I had always denied it. Kim has never get tired to show how much she concern about me.

"I'm not a child. I can take care of myself." I scowled, though I didn't look anywhere but her.

"I know but for this current situation, I guess you'll need me." Kim wagged eyebrows. "Do you want to see what is about to occur on the road." The tom queried and I was the curious cat. It killed me that I was unable to figure things out.

"What do we have here?" I asked, crossing my arms in front of my chest like a sulky little girl.

"The Changing the Guard ceremony." Kim told me. "I can carry you so you'll have a better look." The tom offered and pointed at her back. She's going to lift me up like a little girl? No way! That's embarrassing.

"It's ridiculous. The other day, you can't even carry me for the longest minutes." I said to her and saw Kim giggled softly.

"Let's get to the front line then. We shall not miss this ceremony." Kim stuck out her hand to me and I gladly took it. The sudden feel of excitement filled my entire form. Kim guided me to walk through the crowd until we got to be in the front line. We were separated from the road by a long metal fence. It helped to keep everybody in line.

After a short while, the loud music caught our attention. At the junction of the street, we saw a troop of guards dressed in traditional red tunics and black bearskin hats with some instruments in their hands marched down the road. This ceremony is set to music. I don't care if I look like a silliest girl there. I'd involuntarily clapped my hands in excitement. The attire was exactly the same one which I had ever seen in Disney's cartoon. I got to see them for real now. Kim glanced at me with a big smile on her face. I couldn't tell whether she was amused by my action or excited just like me too but she looked happy though. So it's doesn't matter.

"We are at the outside of Buckingham Palace." Kim leaned down and spoke to me with a loud voice. "The guard who looks after this palace is called The Queen's Guard." She added some more information for me. Then, Kim took the opportunity to take some pictures of the guards. She even asked me to pose for the shoots. The guards changing ceremony took about 45 minutes until it's done.

"Kim, can we enter the palace?" I poked her hand with my finger.

"Sure. We have the pass." Kim nodded.

We're walking across the hall with the other tourist. It came to my knowledge that the palace serves as the official residence of The Queen and has hosted many historic events, from royal christenings to visits from world leaders. The British Monarchy designs fascinated me as we walked further into the palace. Wait, if the Queen lives here, could we meet her Majesty today? Curious and excited at the same time, I tugged Kim's sleeve for an attention. Kim shifted her eyes to me and puckered her eyebrow in questioning gesture.

"Kim, is the Queen here?" I asked. The tom immediately shook her head, answering my question; No.

"How did you know that?" I queried more. So sad, I thought we got the opportunity to meet the Queen.

"The flag on the roof." Kim told me and I was getting confused. "There is always one flying above the palace. When The Queen is in residence, the flag is the Royal Standard and when she's away, the Union Flag is raised instead." Kim elaborated. It amazed me that she knew all the details. Kim never fails to impress me.

"Besides that Pie, if the Queen is here. We might not be able to enter the palace. It's summer; her Majesty went away to her other residence." Kim said.

The first step across the threshold to be here was into the Grand Hall and up the curving marble stairs of the Grand Staircase. The largest room in the Palace is the Ballroom, where Investitures and State banquets took place today. It is 36.6m long, 18m wide and 13.5m high. It was opened in 1856 with a ball to celebrate the end of the Crimean War. Don't ask me how I knew it. It's from the tour guide.

"Your Highness." Kim reached out a hand to me out of sudden. I understood the gesture. I watched it a lot in princesses' fairytale stories. Kim was about to ask me for a dance just like how the Prince did.

She made me laughed. I took her hand and we bowed down to each other. Later, she twirled me around as if we were dancing with music in a ballroom. I don't care if people did watch our childish behaviour. This could be something to remember when we get back to Thailand later.

Lucky us it's summer. We can tour the 19 spectacular State Rooms. The State Rooms are a suite of lavishly decorated public rooms in Buckingham Palace where the monarch receives, rewards and entertains her subjects and visiting dignitaries. There're some wonderful paintings portraits of past and present royals including Queen Victoria, George III and Queen Charlotte, William IV and his wife Queen Adelaide and, of course, the current Royal Family. The majestic Throne Room is my favourite. It contains the thrones that are used for investitures and ceremonial receptions such as at The Queen's Jubilees.

When we ended the tour, it was already afternoon. Kim took me to a park which I learned to be the St. James's Park. It was peaceful here with mature trees and grassland. We strolled around until Kim found a perfect spot for us to rest. She took out a blanket from her mini backpack and lay it down on the grass.

"Well prepared." I said as we sat ourselves comfortably. Finally some rest after a long walk. I'm exhausted already.

Kim returned a smile to me. Weird! She seemed not to talk that much today. It was a short while when my eyes caught Kim took something from her mini backpack again. Shall we call her mini backpack as Doraemon pocket? It has everything you wished.

"You didn't eat that much this morning." Kim began as she placed a container on the blanket. "So I packed some sandwiches for you." She opened the lid and I swore my stomach growled in response. It supposed to be lunch time by now.

"Do you want to eat it now?" Kim asked and I nodded eagerly.

"Good girl." Kim smiled. I took one for me and bit for a taste. It's a tuna sandwich with some salad and tomatoes in it. The combinations were just fine and tasty. Well perhaps I'm hungry. Everything would be fine.

Kim watched me eating the packed food and it didn't bother me at all. I wonder why she didn't eat hers. Perhaps I should ask Kim whether the sandwiches are all mine.

"Kim..." I called out her name but unfortunately I choked on my own. How embarrassing! Kim might see me as a greedy girl.

"Here's your water." Kim handed a bottle of water to me. She looked worried herself. She gently patted my back while trying to check whether I was completely fine.

"Thank you." I thanked her. Kim took out a handkerchief from her pocket and gently wiped my mouth using it. I let her did that for me. Sometimes I felt like I'm getting used to be treated like her little girl. She pampered me too much that I was getting comfortable with her care.

"You eat like a child." I found Kim snatched my words this morning. When Kim caught I was pulling a long face, she laughed at my reaction. I had seen many versions of Kim's smile and laugh. My favourite part would be when she flashed her pearly white teeth. It was heavenly beautiful. Did she know that?

"You should be really careful next time. Do you know that choking can bring you to death?" Kim asked. I just returned a small nod.

"Are you alright now?" Kim queried again. "If you need support oxygen, I can give you CPR." Kim said to me. I quickly brought my gaze back at the tom. She smirked mischievously at me.

"Pervert!" I knew Kim was hinting about the kiss.

"Finish your food." Kim instructed while she picked up the wrapper and the empty bottles. "We are going to the next place." Kim said before she rose up and walked herself to find the garbage can.

I took the last bite of my sandwich and waited for Kim to return. Why did she go that far just to throw the litter? Then I noticed that there was no nearby garbage can from where we were seated.

"How long have you been married?" Someone asked me and I felt my heart skipped many beats; nearly died in shock because of a heart attack. I hurriedly shifted my gaze around, searching for the source of the voice. My searching eyes spotted an old lady stood not far from where I was seated. Well, she was just about the other side of the shady place. I observed her figure from the head to the toe. She was about her 60 or something. Despite her old age, she looked healthy herself. Stood timidly right next to her was a little girl who was about five. The little one looked cute in her pink dress. Her ponytail hair swung slightly as she cocked her head to the left to have a look at me; curious.

"We are not married yet." I responded and felt my throat grew drier. The woman nodded lightly before she walked to my direction.

"I guess she's your lover then." She smiled and all I could do was returning her a feign smile. I don't love Kim. How was it possible to entitle us as lover when it was an unrequited love?

"I know she loves you with all her heart. I can see it through her eyes." It surprised me when the old woman mentioned Kim as 'she'. This woman was the only one who could guess it right; Kim was not a man as she always seemed to the eyes of other people.

"You know it?" I stuttered and the old woman nodded with a smile.

"This is my granddaughter Lilith." She referred to the little girl. "Both of her mothers were out of town and they placed her under my care." She said. Wait. Did she say her 'both of her mothers' just now? The girl has two mothers!

Lilith stepped forward, a little inch closer to me. "Hello." She greeted me with a sweet smile.

I couldn't help myself either. Her cuteness was overloaded. "Hello Lilith. I'm Pie." I said to her.

"You're beautiful Ms. Pie. Grandma said your partner is good looking too. You two will make a great couple." The girl honestly said to me. I only managed to return another fake smile to her. This girl is truly innocent.

"Don't be scared to figure out your feelings, child." Lilith grandmother said and we both shifted our attention to the old woman. "What awaits you in the future might be worth it." The woman said, more like advising me. She averted her gaze to her granddaughter and I'd follow the trace. Lilith gazed to me and her grandmother with a confused expression. I'd see; this girl was a precious gift to their mother. They had proved to the society that they can build a family as well.

"Well, we got to go now. I shall take Lilith to see the pelicans. It's nice to meet you, Pie." The old woman said and then left before I could ask her name. Lilith waved her hand to me in distance. Day two in London, I was greeted by a stranger who gave me an advice about life.

"Someone is making friends with the local." I didn't notice it when Kim did return.

"Yeah." I locked my eyes to a distance. Lilith and her grandmother's figures had slowly fading away from my sight.

"Come on. Shall we move now?" Kim brought her face right in front of mine. I had to push her away. She's annoying.

"We are we going?" I asked to her.

"Big Ben." Kim

*********************************************************************

Located on the bank of the River Thames, the Houses of Parliament otherwise known as the Palace of Westminster and Elizabeth Tower, commonly called Big Ben are among London's most iconic landmarks. People said those who visit London couldn't miss it and I was so glad that we were finally here.

"Technically, Big Ben is the name given to the massive bell inside the clock tower, which weighs more than 13 tons." Kim told me. She has been my tour guide since we arrived here.

"How heavy is that?" I queried interestedly as I took some pictures of the clock tower. Kim lent her brand new DSLR to me.

Kim scrolled her smart phone quickly. "It's about 13,760 kg." She said and instantly brushed her gaze to the clock tower in amazement. You got to see how hilarious her expression could be. I'd hurriedly captured it using the camera.

"Tell me more about the facts of Big Ben." I prompted her.

"There are 312 pieces of glass in each clock dial and each dial is seven metres in diameter." Kim began to read. "The minute hands are 4.2 metres long, weigh about 100kg and the numbers are approximately 60cm long. Big Ben first rang across Westminster on 31st May 1859."

"Wow! It's an ancient architecture then. It was a long time ago." Kim just shrugged upon hearing my reaction.

"Any interesting facts I ought to know?"

Kim shifted her focus on her smart phone again. "There's Latin words under the clock face read DOMINE SALVAM FAC REGINAM NOSTRAM VICTORIAM PRIMAM, which means O Lord, keep safe our Queen Victoria the First." It sounded hilarious because Kim didn't even know how to pronounce each word for real. She read the Latin words as the way she desired.

"I felt my tongue twisted." Kim complained while I couldn't stop laughing.

"Could you please repeat it again Kim? I want to have it recorded." I started to switch the button to video recorder.

"No." Kim tried to shut the lens of the camera with her hand. "Don't record me in the video." She tried to get the camera from me but I ran it away from her. "Give it to me Pie." Kim snatched but she missed it by second. I saw that Kim tried to catch me. I skipped away from her quickly.

Once I stepped aside on the road, I saw a car coming to my direction. "Pie watch out!" Kim shouted but I was too dumbfounded to take any action. I shut my eyes tightly, petrified with fear.

Just when I thought the car would knock me down, I felt my whole body was being pulled into a safe embrace. My heart palpitated wildly in the unison with the one who saved me. The hands wrapped around me even tighter, warming my entire forms which started to run cold. Catching my breath, I peeked up to look at my saviour. The brown eyes penetrated mine in concern and I could have cursed myself when my heart began to pound at its craziest beats; not because I was petrified with fear but something strange flew and filled myself at its bizarre way. When I thought the sound of my heartbeats became more audible to my saviour, the Big Ben came to save my life as it rang loudly, filling the whole city with its notable sound.

"I will never let you go again." Kim said and all I could do was staring her in that close distance.

***********************************************************************

It was still early when we returned back to our room. We supposed to visit somewhere after the Big Ben but the incident a few minutes ago has ruined everything in the plan. When Kim decided that we should get back to the hotel, I was so afraid to contradict her decision.

Kim was asleep on the couch when I got out from the bathroom. There was a small battle inside my inner self arguing whether I should wake her up for some refreshment or not. At last, I decided not to disturb her sleep. Slowly, I knelt down to the floor so that I could level my gaze to the tom's face. Her lips parted slightly, telling me that she was so deep in her slumber. Kim must be more exhausted than me; last night she slept on this coach while I was comfortably conquered the bed. Kim could have pleaded me more so I would let her sleep with me on the bed but she didn't do it. I wonder it why?

"Pie!" Kim spoke in her sleep. Her body jerked slightly as if there's electricity went through her vein. Please don't tell me that the previous incident gave a profound effect to her.

"Pie!" Kim's hand grasped hard into a fist and so suddenly her eyes fluttered open.

"I'm here." I soothed her with a gentle caress on her face. Kim gazed at me as if she was trying to differentiate the reality and fantasy. She looked confused.

"Get back to sleep. I'm here." I said to her. "I'm sorry." I don't know why but I think I needed to apologize to Kim.

Kim stopped my hand by holding it in hers. With a loud audible sigh, she said to me, "I failed to be a good spouse to you."

"No. You're not." I quickly shook my head. "I'm happy today."

"I upset you and fail to protect you from any harm." Kim said again and I saw in her eyes that she was putting all the blame to herself for the previous incident. Kim might think that if she didn't try to get the camera from me, she might have not endangered my life to fatal accident.

"You saved me." I recalled it for her. "If you didn't rescue me I might have a serious injury." I tried to enlighten her mood with a smile but it seemed not to work on her right now.

"I can't afford to lose you." There's the deepest sincerity in that confession.

"Me too." I found myself saying. "I'm sorry if I'd trouble you." Kim shook her head for a response to me.

"You're my responsibility and priority. I'll always put you first before anything else." Kim said.

"I feel guilty and you're scaring me." I told her and saw Kim frowned in confusion.

"Why?" She asked, bringing herself into a correct sitting position. Kim hoisted me up so that I could have a seat on the coach too. We sat facing each other in a comfortable distance.

"Why did you feel guilty and what did I do until you feel scared?" Kim queried again, demanding for an explanation from me.

"I feel guilty because I have always put you down and I'm so scared that I could never lift you up." I tore my gaze away from Kim but then she traced it back so that I could look at her again.

"You know I will always wait for you." Kim said half whispering. I hate to see the hurtful look in her eyes. It always weakened me.

"No don't wait for me." Kim's face fell, hearing it from me. "I hate it when people have to wait for an important thing." Kim turned to look at me again with a serious stare.

Without another word, I captured her lips with mine. Kim stiffened on her seat but then relax a second later. When she finally responded to the kiss, my whole world turned to a complete heaven. The butterflies inside my tummy would have escaped from my lips when we parted our lips for a second of catching breath, the fireworks inside my chest could have shined so bright if they were brought to view and if it was even possible, I must have floated on the sky for the inexpressible sensation. Perhaps it was the time to stop being scared of my own feelings and one thing I was so sure; it's never too late to figure it out.

#Author's Note

I know I should keep my writing constant but here I am, switching the story telling sort of way to a point of view of the character. (I know I should have done it since the beginning but I didn't do it). I write it long enough for this update and hope it was satisfying. Just a friendly reminder, I'm aware that everybody is pervert enough but don't expect too much for hot kissing scenes and what not. It might happen in the story or not at all depending on my mood. One thing that I'm sure, pressures ruined my mood in writing so I wish if you're about to ask for an update from me, you could probably REPHRASE your "UPDATE PLEASE" DISTURBING URGE with a GOOD WORDING REQUEST. (I AM SERIOUS OR YOU WON'T HAVE AN UPDATE FOR THE LONGEST WEEKS). You don't know/might know how a polite request would change a writer's life for the day. Until then, thank you so much for reading my story! Share you thoughts about the story with me if you have any.
