Brayden's POV
"Baylee!" I yell. As soon as I hear little footsteps I'm tackled in a hug. "Where's Emmy?" Baylee asks. Emma has always been Baylee's role model and as she thinks, best friend. Emmy is her nickname for Emma. Em adores her and they are completely different. Sometimes I wonder why they like each other so much. "Emmy isn't feeling very good. We just came here from London... all the way to the U.S. "Wow..." She's in total awe. "Is it ok if Emmy and I live next door for a few months?" I ask, still hugging her. "Can I talk to Emmy?" "Go ask mom." I tell her. A few minutes later she runs back with a grin on her face. "Yes?" I ask her. But she's already at the front door of Em's house. The door's locked. Did I lock it when I left? No. "Em?" I ask. "Why was the door locked?" "New lock." She yells from her room. Baylee is already running up the stairs screaming "Emmy! Emmy! Emmy!" When I walk into the room, they're both fast asleep. "Stop faking, Em." I whisper. "Aw snap." Comes a whisper from the pile of blankets. I quickly call my mom to tell her Baylee is sleeping here tonight then squeeze into bed with Em and Baylee.
