I set my helmet down on a table that was inside one of the bases. I looked at the blank computer screen, showing my tired face with my semi long black hair to the side. I sighed closing my eyes, I can't believe this is going on.
I had to have the AI that Carolina has to cut my communications off and the tracker on it. Was I doing the right thing? Maybe they are lying to get stuff out of me? No stop. I shook my head. I am just going crazy.
"Ana?" I turned and it was Wash standing in the doorway.
I turned to face my face again. "What?" I snapped.
There wasn't an answer for a while. "Can we talk?"
I chuckled. "Talk? About what? There is nothing to say."
"There is stuff to say Anabeth! I want to know why you hate me so much?! I didn't do anything wrong!" he said sternly walking in fully.
I slammed my helmet in the computer than turned around. "Nothing wrong! Nothing wrong," I yelled. "Fuck that! You didn't come home till late! You lied to me! You left me ALONE with the fucking kids! What do you expect Wash! Me just to forgive you! You left! You never called! You never stopped by! Just gone! I mean the kids and I thought you were dead! Dead Wash! I cried for days! Weeks even! After the kids' death life was nothing to me. It felt like everything died inside me. I felt alone and cold. And after Maine tried to kill me I felt like I could actually see everyone again." It turned to a faint whisper at the end.
He didn't answer for a bit than walked closer. "I know and after I saw you laying covered in blood and trying to save you....felt like I should have done something. Cause losing someone that I love and can't live without hurt. Plus knowing I was the reason why it happened made me feel like shit. Knowing that my children died because I wasn't there killed me. I lost everything too Ana...but now," he walked to me placing a hand on my cheek. "Now I have my angel helping me back to life."
I leaned into his hand breathing in slowly. "Wash..." I whispered.
"Yeah?" he whispered back.
"Probably should tell the Reds and Blues not to watch us argue." I said looking behind him.
Caboose had his head sticking out from the corner with Penn and Tucker next to him. "Damn finally!" Penn yelled walking fully in.
"Why didn't you tell us about her?" Tucker asked.
Wash chuckled. "Probably cause I don't like speaking about my personal problems."
"Well we should head back to Kimball she is going to give a speech." Penn said walking out.
Wash nodded and headed out of the door. Everyone else followed but Tucker. We stood there a bit in silence. "So who are you exactly?" he asked.
I stood there for a bit and glared through my helmet. "Why ask?"
He chucked. "Just being friendly girl."
"Don't even try that." I started towards the door than stopped. "And name is Arizona."

Photos were going on the computer screen with Phoenix's going with the rebels and the....Freelancers. I sighed let it long and strong. "How disappointing."
"Disappointing? Disappointing? Hell this more than that!" Felix yelled pacing back and forth.
Locus looked at him than back at me. "Sir we have to move in now. We have the sword and it works. We can..."
"Go." I interrupted him.
"Sir?" he asked a bit confused.
"Go do it. Kill them all." I responded again.
Felix stopped pacing and just stood there looking at the screen. Locus turned and faced Felix. "Command over and out."

After Kimball gave her inspiration speech we headed out immediately. Everyone packed into the pelicans and took off.
"You ready?" Caboose said over the comm channel.
I half smiled. "Of course. But are you?"
He responded. "I hope for the best for you and Arizona."
"Thanks Caboose. Everyone be careful we don't need a gain one and loose one situation." I said than turned to Ana. "Wash over and out."
She was loading her pistol. She always looked so hot when she did that before going to battle. I smiled. "Still do that?"
She looked up, chuckled, than back down. "Yeah still."
"Before going in can I ask you something?" I asked walking towards her.
She looked up shifted a bit when she noticed I was walking towards her. "Yeah."
"How did..." I gulped feeling a knot form in my chest and a block in my throat. "How did John and Athena died?"
I could feel the room just tense. She didn't say anything for a bit. "Um...well." She placed her gun down in it's place. She sighed. "Athena she...she was ripped apart."
"Where?" Tears were forming in my eyes just imagining her like that killed.
"At Josie's house. York was going to pick her up when he called and told me to hurry there." She said looking down. "John he was home...." her voice cracked. "I was home. I heard something in his room like something falling. It was hard to make out. So I got up out of bed than headed to his room. It was quite than a muffled scream. I grabbed the doorknob and try to budge but something was in the way," she looked at me. "I don't know how I opened it but all I remember was holding our son in my arms crying. Blood on my hands. That I was devastated, angry, and even confused. Than finding out days later my own friend family killed all my other family members. It killed me. When Maine came and tried to kill me I was happy. Happy that I was going to join you and the kids." She stopped looking back down. I could tell she was crying by the way she moved. She talked.
I looked at her letting the tears fall off my face. "I am sorry," she looked up. "I should have been there for you. When I went to our kids grave stones I sat there crying the whole time wishing I was there next to you through it all. Knowing that you'd never forgive me for what I've done. To all of you."
She didn't say anything but stare. "Dav..."
"We are landing in 2 guys." The pilot said.
We both looked up than back at each other. Ana sighed. "Well we better be ready than." She said walking towards me placing her hand on the side of my helmet.
She looked down than walked around me having her hand slide off. I stood there for a bit than turned to face her waiting for the door to open.
"5....4....3....2....1....Mark!" the door opened up slowly showing the temple where the key was.
The pelican was lowering to have us just jump out. Ana and I hopped out landing in front of the temple door. "We are at the temple now Carolina." I said over the comm channel.
"Alright once Penn and I have helped these guys out we will be on our way." She responded with shooting in the background.
"Wash over and out," I turned my head to Ana. "Are you...."
"Well well," we both turned are face at the other side of the bridge it was the mercs. "Looks like we got ourselves the traitor." Felix yelled.
"You can stop this now and fix everything if you stop now." She yelled back ignoring the fact he called her a traitor.
Felix chuckled and looked at Locus. "Yeah yeah I don't care about that Phoenix. I want to destroy this fucking world so I can leave, be rich, and be happy. Now both of you get out of the way."
I shook my head. "Sorry that's just not going to happen."
Locus shifted than looked at Felix and nodded. Locus sighed. "What a disappointment Agent Washington. Like I have said before you surprise and disappoint me."
I felt my heart beat faster and my blood boil. I hate him so much. He relates him and I that's ridiculous we AREN'T anything a like. I'm a solider and he is a MONSTER.
"I seem to do that a lot don't I?" I said controlling my anger.
It was still no one moved or talked. Just silence when Felix started running towards us. Anabeth was shooting her pistol at him.
I looked around to find Locus, he was gone! I turned my head and noticed there were platforms circling around the temple. Locus was jumping off one of the platforms. "Shit." I whispered than rolled to the side.
Locus pounded his fist into the floor. He growled a bit. I got up aiming my battle rifle at him and started to shoot.
He dodged and hit my side. I let out a grunt dropping my gun. I swung a couple time hitting him in the under armpit and side of the face.
"Wash!" The comm channel went off.
I rolled my eyes kicking Locus away from me. "What! I am very busy!"
"I am going to teleport my way there and plant BIG explosives! With Everans!" Penn said with gunshots and exploding sounds in the back.
"Well make it qu..." I got punched in the gut, the air felt like it was sucked out of my body.
I was going down to the ground. I heard a gun being loaded and ready. "You know Agent Washington I thought you'd be such a great solider to have on our side eventually but your so wrapped around their Devil fingers it's sickening. Now I am going to put you out of your misery."
I looked up to look straight into a pistol barrel. I grunted than chuckled. "Now who's the monster?"
"What?" He spat out.
"Hey!" He turned to face a knife getting into his shoulder. I stuck my leg out and tripped him.
I got up and jogged to Ana. "We need to go now."
She looked down at Felix than back at me. "Now why?"
I nodded. "Penn and Everans are going to blow it up."
She nodded. "Than lets go now." She jogged to the other end of the bridge.
When we were about to reach the end. I felt a sharp pain go through my leg making me fall. I let out a scream.
I turned around it was a knife in the back of my knee. "Wash!" Anabeth was kneeling next to me looking up. Felix had his sword out.
"I am sick and tired of you Freelancers getting in the damn way!" He yelled.
Anabeth stood up watching Locus next to Felix. "Oh Felix can't actually fight? How about you go whine to command? I'm pretty sure he will be so very happy to actually hear that you guys FAILED again!" She yelled teasing both of them. "Wash get up now." She whispered sternly.
I got up pushing myself to stand on one foot next to her. "Go to the land now." She whispered again.
I hesitated. "What abo..."
"Just do it." She whispered.
I nodded than sighed hopping my way to the land sitting down again. I looked back. "What about you assholes just ge..."
"Wash? You guys out?" Penn asked.
I shook my head. "Don't set it off we are having..."
Explosion went off HUGE explosion. Son of a bitch. The bridge was flickering. Ana looked at me than ran with the mercs behind her. I stood up reaching for her. "Come on come on!" I yelled.
The bridge failed she jumped grabbing my arm. She swung into the side of the soil hitting it hard. The mecs jumped next to me. "Shit, Wash you have to..."
The temple started to groan and moan than coming down. No..."Ana!"
Everything than went bright seeing nothing but light.
