"Emily, where are you? The party is tonight." Morgan said
"Oh my gosh. I forgot. I'm sorry Morgan." I said
"Where are you?" Morgan said
Then Reid pulled into the parking lot. I smiled and got into the car.
"Forgot about the party didn't you?" Reid said
"Emily, where are you?" Morgan said
I hung up.
"He's gonna be so mad at you for that." Spencer said
I laughed. 10 minutes later, we were at Penelope's house. We walked in. Morgan jumped up off the couch.
"Don't you ever scare me like that again Emily." Morgan said
"Shouldn't my dad be saying that?" I said
We all laughed. After an hour, we all decided to go home. I noticed my dad wasn't at the party.
"Do you want me to drive you home?" Reid asked
"That would be nice. Thank you Spencer." I said
I got in the passenger seat of his car. He drove to my house. I thanked him and then walked into my house.
"Dad! I'm home!" I yelled
I walked into the living room.
I set my bag down and pulled out my phone.
Tony: check your bag and your driveway
I searched my bag. I found keys to a camero. I went outside. There was a black camero sitting in my driveway. There was a note on the windshield.

I took my keys and went inside. I noticed it was midnight. I went up to my room. I changed into my pajamas and went to sleep.
I woke up suddenly. It was 4 am. I got up and got dressed. I went out for a run. When I got back, it was 5 am and dad was making coffee.
"Morning Emily." Dad said
I said nothing.
"You're still mad at me aren't you? Look, Emily, I'm sorry. I'm not taking it out on you I just don't want to loose you. I want you safe." Dad said
I nodded. I went upstairs, showered, put on clean clothes then went downstairs.
"I'm going in early today." I said
"Okay. Drive safe." Dad said
I got in my car and drove to the BAU. I set my bag down at my desk. An hour later, everyone started coming in. I opened my notebook and started writing my book. I wrote one word then stopped.
After 5 minutes, Reid, JJ and Morgan came over to me.
"Everything okay Emily?" Morgan asked
"Why wouldn't it be?" I said with a fake smile
I played with my engagement ring. Then dad came in and said we had a body. I grabbed my bag. I grabbed keys to an undercover vehicle. I jumped into the driver's seat and JJ jumped into the passenger seat. Reid jumped into the back. I started driving behind Dad's car.
"What's wrong?" JJ asked
"My fiancé is in the army and he got deployed to a major war zone." I said. "We are supposed to get married in two months."
"Have you told your dad yet?" Reid asked
"No. I just haven't had time to tell him." I said
"You have to tell him." JJ said
"I know. I will."
We pulled up to a church. I put my gun in its holster and stepped out of the car. I slipped on my bulletproof vest. I followed dad into the church. The priest was sitting on the altar sobbing. There was a woman covered in blood lying on the steps. I rushed over to them. I led the priest out of the church.
"Can you tell me your name please?" I asked
"Pastor Michael Jones." He said
"What happened? Can you walk me through it please?" I asked
He nodded.
"I parked my car and I went into the church. I saw her praying. I went to my office. Then I heard gunshots and a scream and I went out to the altar. She was dead. I saw the man. He wore all black robes and a black mask covering his face. He put his gun in her hands. He ran when he saw me." Michael said
"Thank Pastor. Go home to your family. I bet they are worried about you." I said
He went to his car and drove off. I went into the church.
"Cause of death?" I asked
"Gunshot wounds to the torso. The victim had a gun in their hand. It looks like it was placed there." JJ said
"The pastor said that he saw a man in black robes and a black mask place an object in the victims hand. The unsub could be covering this tracks by making it look like the victim committed suicide." Reid said
"This church has to have meaning to the unsub. We should get back to the building and analyze this." I said
We got into the cars and drove off. JJ and Reid were back in my car.
"How are you gonna tell him?" JJ asked
"I don't know." I said
"You better tell him soon. Do you even have a dress yet?" JJ asked
I didn't answer. I tried to keep the tears out of my eyes so I could see. I pulled into the parking lot.
"It's hard. I wanted my mother to be there but that's out of the question." I said
We got out of the car. I walked to my desk and set my stuff down.
"What took you guys so long to get here?" Morgan asked
"Traffic." I lied
Dad looked at me weird.
"Can I talk to you for a minute dad?" I asked
Dad and I walked into his office.
"What's wrong Emily?" Dad asked
"Everything is fine. I have good and bad news. Good news, Tony and I are getting married in two months." I said
"Oh my gosh. Emily that's amazing." Dad said as he hugged me. "Wait, what's the bad news?"
"Tony was deployed to a major war zone this morning." I said
"Oh. I'm sorry Emily. How long is his deployment?"
"I don't know. I hope it's short." I said
We walked out of his office. JJ and Reid looked at me.
"Did you tell him?" JJ asked
"Yeah." I said
"What are you not telling Rossi and me?" Morgan asked
"You know Tony, that army guy I've been dating? We are engaged and set to be married in two months. Only problem is, he was deployed this morning to a major war zone in the Middle East." I said
"Oh. Congrats Emily." Rossi said
Morgan gave me a smile.
After work, I headed home. I went upstairs. I turned on my webcam and hoped to find Tony. He came on my screen.
"Hi baby." Tony said
"Oh my god hi." I said
"You miss me that much already?"
"It's scary Tony. You could get hurt."
"Don't worry. I can't get hurt in a month's time."
"You'll be home in a month?"
"Yeah. You better start dress shopping."
"I will. I love you Tony."
"I love you too baby."
Then the screen went black.
