When I finish singing, I hear the audience cheering and clapping.
I open my eyes and see them and the judges, apart from the head, standing and clapping.
They sit down and the head judge stares at me and says "Wow."
I smile at him as he continues "You've got a very powerful voice."
"Thanks."
"You're through to the final."
As I walk off the stage, a man walks into me and drops the papers he was carrying.
"Oh my days! I'm so sorry." I quickly get on my hands and knees and pick up the papers.
"No, no. It's fine." He laughs as he bends down and helps me pick up the papers.
Our hands touch as we reach for the same one. We look up at each other and stand up slowly, still looking at each other.
"I'm James Murray. Music producer."
"I'm Sian. I just auditioned."
"I heard. You're really good. You've got an amazing voice."
"Thanks."
We pause for a minute until he says "I better get going."
"Yeah same."
We walk away and I realise I'm still holding a few of the papers.
I turn round "James, you've left-"
Turning round, he says "Please, call me Murr." then gives me a wink, takes the papers and walks away.
