35 weeks pregnant
•• Nina's pov ••
I wake up and look over at my phone. I grab it and look at the time.
3:12am.
I crawl out of bed and into the bathroom.
I look down at my belly. If it grows anymore I might just pop.
I wash my hands after I use the bathroom and walk back to the bed.
"You okay?" I hear Ian say quietly.
I lay down and pull the blanket up over me.
"Just had to pee again for the fifth time tonight." I say.
I feel Ian's hand slide over my waist.
"Just a few more weeks." He says.
"Just." I remind him.
He laughs a little.

Now I wake up to a pain in my lower back.
Ignoring it I crawl out of bed. I go into Harlow's room to see if she's awake.
"Hi little bunny." I say. She's sitting up in her crib playing with her bunny.
"Happy Birthday my sweet girl." I kiss her head and lift her up.
I can't believe my baby is one. She just learned to walk 2 weeks ago. Making Ian and I have a mini heart attack. We put gates up all around. And Ian walks behind her to catch her if she falls. She is saying a few more words now too. Including "no" as her favorite at the moment.
"Dog." Harlow says and I turn to see where she's pointing.
Kai is curled up in her teepee sleeping.
"Yeah there's your dog." I smile at her.
"Let's go wake daddy." I say and walk to the bedroom.
Ian is already standing up out of the bed.
"Happy Birthday Harlow!" He says and kisses her.
I hand her to him. And start crying.
"Nina baby, what?" Ian pulls me into his chest.
"Our baby is one!" I say.
"Yeah! But just think of all the new things to look forward to in this next year with her." Ian kisses my head.
I get another pain through my back and put my hand on it.
"You okay?" Ian asks.
"I'm fine." I say.
"Let's go make this girl some birthday pancakes." Ian says.
We head down to the kitchen and I place Harlow in her high chair.
"What time is everyone showing up for the party again?" Ian asks.
"12:00." I say.
"Which reminds me, you need to set the tables up outside. And I'll decorate." I say to him.
He finishes the pancakes and sits them on the table.
"Okay, after breakfast." He smiles.
I cut up a pancake for Harlow and lay it on her plate.
She puts them in her mouth and holds one out for me to bite.
"Mmm, yummy." I smile.
She giggles and puts another one in her mouth.
Ian finishes eating and puts the dishes into the dish washer.
"Alright I'm going to set the tables up." He says and walks into the garage.
I grab Harlow and head upstairs to get her dressed.
"I can't believe you are one. It's been one year already." I say as I change her diaper.
I put on her outfit for the day and hand her her bunny.
She walks over to the teepee and starts playing.
I put the gate up around her door and head into the bedroom to change into my clothes.
My back still hurting. I ignore it and just keep getting dressed.
I brush my hair and curl it real quick. Then I do my makeup.
"Okay baby the tables are set up." Ian says and kisses my neck.
"I'm going to shower and get ready." He says.
"Okay. Harlow is playing in her room. I'll have one of the baby monitors and here's the other one." I sit it down on the sink for him.
"Okay." He smiles and steps into the shower.
I check on Harlow again before heading down to decorate.
She looks up and holds her toys up.
"Play." She says and throws one of the toys.
I laugh and walk towards the steps.
I grab the decorations and head outside.
Thank god it's beautiful today. I want a worried it would be raining and we'd have to move the party inside.
Kai follows me around as I decorate.
I finish up and grab my phone.
I get on Twitter and tweet.

Everyone starts showing up for the party.
Ian's parents and Mine. Candice and Joe. Phoebe, Paul, and Penelope. Julie. Kat. Hilary. Erica. A few of Harlow's friends from the mommy and me yoga class we go to.
Ian comes up behind me.
"Cake first or presents?" Ian asks.
"Presents. Cause she will get filthy when she eats her cake." I say to him.
"Okay everyone! We are going to open presents!" I say. I grab Harlow and place her in her high chair.
Ian and I open the presents for her. Holding them up for everyone to see and saying thanks to everybody.
Harlow kicks wanting out of the high chair. Ian brings her cake over and sits it down in front of her. She stares at it and pokes it with her finger.
"Happy Birthday to you, happy birthday to you, happy birthday sweet Harlow, happy birthday to you!" We all sing to her.
"Okay Harlow, try the cake!" I put some icing on my finger and let her grab hold of it to put in her mouth.
She makes an ew face.
"You don't like it?" Ian laughs.
"Okay everyone! Cake and ice cream is on this table." Ian shows them to the table.
Harlow smacks her cake with her hand.
"Okay, you're going to play with it but not eat it?" I laugh.
My mom comes up to me.
"I'm so proud of you baby." She says with a smile.
"For what mama?" I ask her.
"You've done an amazing job with Harlow. I can't believe it's been an entire year. And now this one is almost here." She places her hand on my belly.
"I know. It's crazy." I say.
"I'm not sure how we are going to do with a one year old and a newborn." I say.
"It won't be easy the first few weeks. But you and Ian, were made to be parents. You will be fine. Both of you." Mom kisses my cheek.
Phoebe walks over to me next with Penelope.
"Happy birthday Harlow." Phoebe leans in to kiss Harlow.
"How you feeling baby mama?" Phoebe smiles.
"Like I'm about to pop. Literally." I say.
Phoebe laughs.
"My back has been killing me all day though." I say.
"You might wanna go lay down." She says.
"I will after the party." I say.
I grab Harlow and we head over to the table with Ian and Paul.
"Let's take a group pic." Ian says.
"Ma? Can you take our picture?" Ian asks his mom.
She grabs his phone and stands in front of the table. I sit Harlow on my belly.
"Say cheese!" Ian's mom says.
"Cheese!" We all say.
She hands the phone back to Ian and we all look at the picture.
"I'll post that on Instagram." Ian says.
He kisses my cheek and than Harlow.
"Happy Birthday." He says.
Harlow holds her arms out for Ian. He grabs her and she leans her head down on his shoulder.
I grab my phone and take a picture of the cute moment.
