After meeting with Isabella "Ivy" Valentine, Z.W.E.I., and Viola, Ezio is now involved and plays a pivotal role in a clash between Soul Edge and Soul Calibur. He learning the history of the two artifact who it's swords were used by the hero named Siegfried Schtauffen, who used the Soul Calibur against the Nightmare, who wielded the Soul Edge.
Somewhere on the ledge of the city, watching the view of Empire City, located in Germany. Ezio Auditore da Firenze, the Legendary Assassin and Mentor of the Italian Brotherhood ofthe Assassins Order, who is now involved in the war between Soul Calibur and Soul Edge.
After he views around him, he then performs a leap of faith into the haystack below. Ezio walks down the street and heads to Ivy's place. Once he arrives, he knocks on her door and enters. He sees who she is working with her potions. She turns around and sees Ezio with a smile.
Isabella "Ivy" Valentine: "Well...well, Sir Ezio Auditore da Firenze. How is your scouting? The area isn't beautiful?"
Ezio Auditore: "It's looked perfect. It is very similar to Roma. Where are Z.W.E.I and Viola?"
Isabella "Ivy" Valentine: "They return to Siegfried Schtauffen to discuss terms about dealing with the Nightmare and destroying the Soul Edge."
Ezio Auditore: "Bene (Good). But first, before I want to meet Siegfried. But first, I must find Patroklos and his sister, Pyrrha."
Isabella "Ivy" Valentine: "Hmm...you have a high noble cause. But Patroklos is a very difficult one. He thinks that everyone is malfested."
Ezio Auditore: "Alright, I will go alone to find Patroklos and regain his trust in me, and I will help him to find his sister. Do you know where he is?"
Isabella "Ivy" Valentine: "According to the eyewitness of mine. He's at an ancient citadel, located in the Black Forest in the Holy Roman Empire's southwestern region. He might be searching for the location of his sister is"
Ezio Auditore: "Grazie (Thank you), Ivy. Once I help Patroklos and Pyrrha. I will tell you everything that's going on."
Isabella "Ivy" Valentine: "I know you will, Ezio."
Ivy then kisses Ezio on his left cheek, and she winks at him. Ezio smirks at her behind his Assassin Hood, and he soon leaves to find Patroklos. He remembers when he was with his first lover, Cristina Vespucci, whom he failed to save from her life during the reign of Girolamo Savonarola, who he's Dominican friar and the new leader of Firenze after the death of Ezio's father closes friend and ally, Lorenzo de Medici. As Ezio walks through the Black Forest, he deals with some bandits along the way and marauders as well. While he arrived at the Ancient Citadel, he spotted Patroklos, who was very reckless fighting some of the marauders who were thinking they were malfested.
Patroklos Alexander is the son of Sophitia and Rothion Alexander, the younger brother of Pyrrha, the nephew of Cassandra Alexandra and Lucius, and the grandson of Achelous and Nike. When a mysterious customer gave Rothion a peculiar metallic fragment, the household went out of control, with the children fighting violently over what their father just received, while Sophitia was experiencing an aftermath from the previous wounds she sustained in her first battle against Soul Edge. Knowing him, he is determined, self-absorbed, very arrogant, and mocks his enemies in a brash manner. Patroklos never doubts his actions, stating that they are just, and he even refers to himself as justice (which is inconsistent with his actions, making him a hypocrite as well). He is incredibly short-sighted, being easily manipulated, and he easily obeys Graf Dumas without question. Ezio reminds him of his youngerself when he was 17 years old. He then walks toward him, who sees him killing the marauder,s and Patroklos turns around and sees the Assassin.
Patroklos Alexander: "So. Another Malfested appeared in front of me."
Ezio Auditore: "I am no Malfested, Patroklos. I am just an ordinary man who is searching for you."
Patroklos Alexander: "Ahh, so you know my name. Well, now, if you are not Malfested. Tell me your name, good sir, so that I can beat you fair and square."
Ezio Auditore: "Name comes quickly for someone who dares to challenge those who are not Malfested."
Patroklos Alexander: "Fine then. You will die next, stranger."
Ezio Auditore: "Do not test me."
The Stage is set in the moonlight on the battlefield. Ezio and Patroklos stare at each other as they prepare to face each other in combat. The two rush toward each other as their sword clash each other. Ezio knows Prince Patroklos's skills are very good in swordplay, combined with his shield. Ezio counters and parries his attacks as he uses his Counter) Crossbow Combination and rush toward him and strike him with his Eagle Fury on Patroklos.
Patroklos breath heavy as he attacks him again, but Ezio is too fast. As Patroklos tries to use his Malfested Hunter and Radiant Heaven at the same time. But Ezio blocks his attacks as he kicks him and he aim him hidden gun at Patroklos.
Ezio Auditore: "Requiescat in pace"
When Ezio shot his Hidden gun at Patroklos cause him a lot of damage hit and he stood up. Then he rushes toward him again, attacking him with his Glorious Impale, to cause Ezio damage as he takes damage. But Ezio wasn't giving up yet as he swung his sword and made Patroklos fall, but he then performed his finishing move known as "Full Synchronization."
Ezio Auditore: "I tried to warn you!"
Ezio throws his smoke bomb under his feet, and Patroklos is struck with the stiletto slash. Ezio will quickly slash him twice more with his hidden blade and sword, shoot from the crossbow, and then from the hidden gun, and end the battle.
Ezio Auditore: "Vittoria agli Assassini. (Victory to the Assassins.)"
After the battle. Patrioklos has been defeated by Ezio Auditore himself. This is his first time being defeated, knowing the Prince been beaten by the Assassin like Ezio Auditore himself. Ezio sheathed his Roman longsword and looked at Patroklos, who was kneeling.
Ezio Auditore: "Do you believe me? That I'm not Malfested?"
Patroklos Alexandra: "*breath heavy* Yeah, I've admitted. You're not Malfested, but that doesn't mean I'm fully trusting you first. I want to know who you are and what you want?"
Ezio Auditore: "My name is Ezio Auditore and I'm an Assassin. I've come here to learned more about the Soul Edge, Soul Calibur, and helping you."
Hearing words from him makes Patroklos shocked about the Soul Edge, Soul Calibur, and he wants to help him from the Legendary Master Assassin himself. He analyzes Ezio, and he knows that Ezio Auditore is an Italian.
Patroklos Alexandra: "So. You come here to help me and learned more about the Soul Edge? Your accent is Italian. Who sent you, and how can I trust you, knowing your status as an Assassin?"
Ezio Auditore: "I am from Italia in Roma, and please do not let my reputation confuse you, Patroklos. I may be an assassin, but I am not like others; I'm killed who is injustice. And for your second question, I'm sent by your mother, Elysium. Knowing she told me about you and your sister. Pyrrha Alexandra."
Hearing this from Ezio Auditore. Patroklos has now regained his trust in Ezio, knowing he's an Assassin who is fighting for the right cause, and he also hears his sister's name, which makes him worried, as he asks Ezio for his help.
Patroklos Alexandra: "Please, Ezio. We must find my sister. She might be in danger, or something goes wrong with her!"
Ezio Auditore: "Don't worry, we will work together to find your sister. Do you know where she went?"
Patroklos Alexandra: "Last time I heard, she went into the forest. I know she is trying to look for me."
Ezio Auditore: "If she is in the forest. The Mercenaries will hunt her down. We must hurry before we are too late."
With agreement. Ezio Auditore and Patroklos Alexandra start heading toward the forest together to find Pyrrha Alexandra before the Mercs find her first. As they run through the forest. Ezio jumps from tree branch to another as he uses his Master Assassin agility, free running, parkour, while keeping up with Patroklos Alexandra.
Ezio Auditore and Patroklos Alexandra arrived at the location, and they finally found Pyrrha Alexandra, who had surrounded by the Mercenaries been hired by someone. Pyrrha Alexandra is the daughter of Sophitia and Rothion, the older sister of Patroklos Alexandra, the niece of Cassandra and Lucius, and the granddaughter of Achelous and Nike. When a mysterious customer gave Rothion a peculiar metallic fragment, the household went out of control, with the children fighting violently over what their father just received, while Sophitia was experiencing the aftermath of the previous wounds she sustained in her first battle against Soul Edge. Awhile after her younger sister, Cassandra, set off on her quest, Sophitia made her decision to get involved to save her children.
Mercs#1: "There she is! Get her!"
Pyrrha Alexandra: "Please. I don't want to hurt you."
Pyrrha Alexander armed herself with the Omega Sword and Elk Shield, trying to defend herself against the Mercenaries. As she was able to hold herself, Ezio jumped down and landed behind one of the mercenaries. He performs a backstab assassination as he kicks one of the mercenaries' legs and stabs him right into his neck with his hidden blade as he screams and is killed by the Assassin. Other mercenaries who are attacking Pyrrha Alexandra suddenly see Ezio Auditore and Patroklos Alexandra arrive as Pyrrha Alexandra sees her brother with a shocked with smiles, knowing she missed him so much.
Ezio Auditore: "Patroklos. Take Pyrrha out of here. I will handle these Mercenaries."
Patroklos Alexandra: "Are you sure about this, Ezio?"
Ezio Auditore: "I've faced this before. Now go!"
Patroklos nods to Ezio as he rushes toward his big sister, and Ezio covers him while throwing his knives at the Mercenaries. As Patroklos grabs Pyrrha and takes her away to safety. As Ezio sees him take Pyrrha away to safety. Ezio remained behind, and he started attacking the Mercenaries all by himself.
Ezio performs his streak kills movement as he uses his Hidden Gun to kill the remaining Mercenaries, and he counters then parrying their attacks as he swipes them off with his sword, and he stabs one of the mercenaries, then blasts him with his Hidden Gun. He then switches his weapon from sword to his Hidden Blade. He slices at the mercenary's face with his Hidden Blade as he stab other one between his guts and chest, as he slice their throat. The Mercenaries see this as frightening to see Ezio's skill, and they dropped their weapons and ran away while retreating.
Ezio is already dealing with the Mercenaries, and he soon regroups with Patroklos and Pyrrha Alexandra. At the moonlight of the field, Patroklos shows his shield, "Arcadia Shield," and Pyrrha also shows her shield, "Elk Shield," with their family heirloom symbol. Pyrrha started in tears, and she hugged her little brother, and Patroklos also hugged her back. Ezio watches them and smiles behind his Assassin hood. He reminds him of his siblings. Federico Auditore, Petrucio Auditore and Claudia Auditore. The memory of his past was torn apart when his father and brothers were executed without a just cause by the Templar Order, who killed his half-family and even his uncle, Mario Auditore, who had been killed by Cesare Borgia. He learned that life as an Assassin may bring pain and suffering. But he never stops fighting for the right cause, and he will save the world from chaos. When Ezio walks toward them, Patroklos and Pyrrha look at him, who he made out alive from the battle against the mercenaries.
Patroklos Alexandra: "You made it. I thought you were dead."
Ezio Auditore: "They may try, but I'm still very much alive."
Pyrrha Alexandra looked at Ezio, and she soon started to bow to him, which shocked Ezio, knowing Pyrrha Alexandra was the Princess of the Imperial Family who was bowing to the Mentor of the Italian Brotherhood of Assassins Order.
Pyrrha Alexandra: "Thank you for saving me. Can you tell me your name, sir?"
Ezio Auditore: "Please, there is no need for bows. We have a different reputation. Knowing your status as Princess. My name is Ezio Auditore, and I'm an Assassin."
Pyrrha Alexandra: "An Assassin? Really?"
Pyrrha, who is shocked to see Ezio Auditore, who is an Assassin, and Ezio trying to tell her about it, and Patroklo,s who led Ezio to explain to his big sister, knowing he trusted him very much.
Ezio Auditore: "Please, don't let the reputation of our name confuse you. We assassins kill only when there is a just cause."
Pyrrha Alexandra: "I see...can you tell me more about yourself and your motive here?"
Ezio Auditore: "Alright. I will tell you everything I know. I'm a Mentor of the Italian Brotherhood of Assassins. As for my motive, I've been tasked to find you two, knowing there is a connection with the Soul Calibur and Soul Edge."
Hearing about the Soul Edge and Soul Calibur. Pyrrha is shocked by what Ezio said, and she also notices that Ezio is the Mentor of the Italian Brotherhood of Assassins Order, who he's the one who destroy the House of Borgia in Rome.
Pyrrha Alexandra: "Wait...you are the one who destroyed the House of Borgia in Rome?"
Ezio Auditore: "Indeed, I am. I guess you know about them as well."
Pyrrah Alexandra: "I do. They cause a lot of trouble between Europe and Italy. I guess you destroy them all?"
Ezio Auditore: "With my fellow Assassins in Rome."
Hearing Ezio's words. Both Alexandra's sibling amazed hearing about his action in Rome, freeing Italy from Borgia corruption, and Patroklos asked Ezio about the Assassins Order. Knowing they really wanna know more about Ezio's Order.
Patroklos Alexandra: "Sir Ezio. I know you learned about the Soul Edge and Soul Calibur. But we really wanna know more about your Order and all. What is the goal and purpose?"
Ezio Auditore: "Alright. I will tell you everything I know. We assassins did not serve the Kings, Queens, or hired killers. We are fighting for the free will of humanity from chaos, as we are fighting our enemy known as the Templar."
Pyrrha Alexandra: "The Templar? I thought the Templars were supposed to be the protectors of the Holy Land and such? Knowing they believe in Christianity."
Ezio Auditore: "They were. But they turned back on their beliefs. The Templar Order did not believes on their religion, they wanted to create a New World Order from the shadows. This incident caused the Templar been disbanded in France for over 200 years by King Philip IV and Pope Clement V to brand the Templars as heretics and arrest their Grand Master, Jacques de Molay. Now the Templar operates in shadows."
Pyrrha Alexandra: "That's...that's quite a story, Sir Ezio. Is there any peace for that?"
Ezio Auditore: "Unfortunately, none. There will be no peace in this time; the Assassins and Templars were at war for over a thousand years. The Templar will never stop what they achieve."
Patroklos Alexandra: "What does the Templar want?"
Ezio Auditore: "World domination meaning "Control" they wanted to control everything. To make peace, they wanted to control everything under their iron fist. But the truth is, there is no such thing as peace from them. They wanted to search for the artifact that is my possession, and I kept it safe from them. But now, since I am here learning about the Soul Edge and Soul Calibur. She sent me to help you both."
Patroklos Alexandra: "Then we needed your help this time, Sir Ezio. Will your company allow us to return home?"
Ezio Auditore: "Nessun problema (No problem at all), this is why I'm here, and it's my mission to help you until this madness must end."
The Alexandras' sibling agreed to have Ezio on their side. They soon prepare to travel to their home at the Imperial City, Ezio Auditore who he still have the Soul Calibur within him inside his pocket and kept it safe from harm. Ezio new journey has started knowing he finally meet the Patroklos and Pyrrha Alexandra, learning about Soul Edge and Soul Calibur, Nightmare and more. Ezio Auditore da Firenze the Mentor of the Italian Brotherhood of Assassins Order has now started his new mission and journey.
