Waking Up

Waking up had to be the worst feeling ever. Waking up took away the blissful fantasy and made it reality. The reality of starving and homeless children. The reality of dead beat daddies and crack whore mommies. The reality that you can't escape. Waking up took so much effort. I didn't want to face that hard slap of reality, but I had to. Someone has to change the messed up reality we live in. Someone had to make tomorrow a better place. Sitting and waiting for tomorrow is not going to help you. Waiting for a tomorrow is like living yesterday over and over. Someone has to make waking up to tomorrow blissful. Someone has to change reality. Why not you? Waking up to this sick place I call reality had to be the worst feeling ever. Waking up took away my blissful fantasy and made it a horrid reality.
