A hand to hold.
A loving hug.
Kind words,
and clarity
Not the distant kind,
the ineffable kind,
from a good parent,
filled with warmth and love.
A childhood,
sooo good
that I grew up with no problems.
As I age,
facing hardship,
and going through a struggle.
It's fine and dandy.
But to be able to prevail too;
It would be a nice gift.
