My eyes opened to the sound of a hard smack and when I looked up I was in a mansion, very delicately made and decorated with a massive fire around me, was what I was smelling the burning wood, I had a dream I was back in the prison tombs of heretics where the very prisons are surrounded by red hot metal bars, to the point they created fire. Luckily I didn't get to touch it I was too busy getting chained to the wall. It was in this place I heard the voice
"You can't win..you can't fight...remember..you are mine you owe me I gave you what you wanted...now you owe me.." that's when I heard the smack and when I woke up I was laying on the couch nearest of the fireplace and when I looked up one of the boys was getting smacked by an older woman and said "YOU of all people got involved in vampires you and your friends are one thing, but involving others who can get us in trouble Caleb??" and I widened my eyes his name is Caleb.
Could he be me in? no There's nothing that would give the impression he was me I needed to figure out who they were and when I looked into the corner I saw Michael lying against the wall in the corner and Selene was in one of the chairs awake. I said "I'm sorry Sono riconoscente If you boys hadn't been involved we would have been in serious trouble, I have a feeling you kids know something of the murders that's happened around here Sono riconoscente" which meant "I'm grateful" and said it twice. she nodded and took a drink of whatever was in her glass and said "I know well, but I didn't think it would land on my doorstep, who are you three?" and I raised up and winced and said "Im...Ciaran willow NIght".
Selene nodded and said as she slowly got to her feet and brushed herself off and said "Im Selene no last name, and that's Michael Corvin, we're I mean I'M from the coven mansion down the way" Caleb looked at me,us and said "ah the night family you've got a reputation even from here, we're covenant members, powerful warlocks from Ipswich, we were traveling through London looking for some information on a certain individual we had run-ins a few months back when we caught wind of you, his name is chase" and I nodded. My hand flew to where IM sure there were bite marks and caked blood, but there was only flesh under my Blutengel shirt and jacket which was torn to shreds, thank god for small favors that were closest Ive ever been to being marked.. "You rescued us, I was about to be bitten when you got us "Purtroppo eravamo impreparati" Selene nodded and looked to Michael "Lucien bit that one before he vanished..wait" I looked at her and raised an eyebrow. that's when Caleb looked at me. "You speak Italian, but are you the established family like I said? you have a reputation even here in London.."
I nodded and said " I am. We are. The stories are true, the good and the bad, I'm known as the prodigal son, I practice Magecraft, it's not the same line as you guys I'm sorry Im used to speak Italian I said "Sadly we were unprepared" I won't speak Italian again I found it's my nature currently we are on an assignment away from the Vatican" that's when I turned to Selene "What is it?" Selene said, "Lucien bit him and then vanished, werewolves can't teleport nor astral project like you guys so where did he go and how did he appear?" I nodded and looked at them when Reid spoke.
"Our powers come at a price. vampires are dead to the world but live in ours, and werewolves are the same. in our world, vampires and witches and werewolves are THE triad of powers" I nodded and leaned up. I told them "You're the Ipswitch line I heard of you from when I was studying the Salem witch trials in Rome, the five families" and pogue looked at me "technically four, one line was taken out long ago" and I nodded and said "my powers stem from magecraft runes, sigils, tarot, chaos magic, astral magic, and elemental magic" and they nodded. Caleb said "We dont mind you speaking your native tongue, just clarify and watch what you say" I nodded then Reid said "im wondering whose more powerful me, Caleb...or you? how old are you?" and I his powerful red flare go through his eyes. I scowled and deep inside I heard Nox say" Easy Ciaran, he's goating you to show your hand, easy now" I sensed a push of power towards me and yet my own shielding was enough to keep it at bay, whatever that insinuating could be.
"Im ok Nox, If I can deal with Alexis and Gabriel and other vampires "insinuated" Me,I can handle this hothead," Nox said "That's why Im telling you, your history shows that you CANT handle being pushed, Alexis, Gabriel, Hiaki, every time you got into a fight was because you reacted, this time be better" and I sighed and put a weed stick in my mouth again and blew the smoke in his face and said "I'll pass, I'm in my late teens early 20s you need to know a time and place, innescare una testa calda felice" and they nodded "we're all about 18 what did you say?" and Selene looked over as I said "I called him trigger happy in Italian" which was half right
I called him a trigger-happy hothead or "Moron" That's when Selene said "Enough I want to know why you are here this is vampire territory bad enough that we're dealing with pesty lycans now you?" and I held up my hand and said "hold off Selene these kids might be able to help us" and I turned back to them and said, "forgive my friend the attack you saw was enough to make her,us antsy you see we're following a bunch of murders on vampire land, many of them connected to their lines and last we investigated the wolves were not to blame."
that's when Selene popped in "They were neither slashed up nor bitten, but their eyes were dead...like they were drained..and apparently charred no werewolf could do that" Caleb scowled thinking, and traded glances with Pogue and she stopped and said "what?" and Pogue spoke "N-nothing" I scowled and took a breath again and said "You know something.." and pogue said "these moves are signature of Chase he was the member of the fifth family, Caleb beat him after threatening us and putting me and Sarah in the hospital...shes still there treated for spider bites" he blinked and said "if hes back you guys have more to worry about than vampires or lycans" I nodded and Selene said
"You think this chase guy is making deals with us and lycans?" and he nodded. I said "It would piece a lot together the sudden astral, the sacrifices, the magic the calling here" and I looked at Selene "What do you think Selene?" She raised an eyebrow, thinking, and looked at Michael and said "we heard it there are probably fifty lycans down there, and if Kraven and Lucien are involved, then there is a good chance this chase, Kraven, and Lucien are being the posters..." and she looked at michael who was just now getting up. He sighed and said "And Im the test subject for their sick little fantasies what is that going to do besides give me more power?" Caleb looked over at him and said "chances are good you're going to be easier to control if you're under three different powers...and its a good chance that it could kill you as the power that we use slowly eats us away.
... it's addictive to use magic like us...and what about you mage do you have a downside to this power?" I thought this over and said "For us, for me the power I use gets stronger as I use it, and though I won't say it eats me I have very well learned that the spirits I summon and powers i use feed on my energy as a form of nourishments to remain in power and I've already noticed times when I need to stay down for a bit because..." and I heard "it's ok Ciaran you can summon me...we're in good company" I sighed and put the stick in my mouth and said "Maybe it's' better
to show you?" and the mom said, "I think it best to show that somewhere else" Caleb looked over at his mom and said "Mom I think it best to know the extent of our allies" and She pursed her lips as if going to deny it but she sighed you better not break anything" and I nodded and pulled out one of my athames and flicked it open revealing a sick silver talon blade and ran it over the meaty part of my forearm and blood dripped down and I closed my eyes and started to chant as a green circle formed around me as it surrounded me in a great amount of energy.
"I call to you in the shadowy wood the dominant one is evil and good the winner is who I feed and see in your trials both are shown to me I give my spirit to the wild one the one who I sing this song I give the power to keep me strong in exchange for protection all night long guardian of power given look for courage that helps me fight even when the goal is hidden" I slit my forearm and blood started to drip and that's when I opened my eyes as the amount of energy was brighter than the massive fireplace and it was literally gathering of wind and energy and I continued with my eyes opened and as my blood drips onto the floor it glowed and flickered like a heartbeat the blood would stain her carpet if it didn't vanish when it hit the ground.
"1 times 2 times 3 times 4 I summon you when I open this door Nox NightFire, I summon you now" I pushed my hand forward and the very glowing oval circle rose up vertically and opened like a door and a black shadow wolf with blue aura walked out as a big as a horse it looked around with its deep blue eyes and spoke internally "ah so these are the forms to what I hear Reid, Pogue...and Caleb....and Selene..and Michael" that, when Michael looked up, was a little freaked out "what are you doing with a creature like that in this house hes as big as a horse" and
I nodded "It a lot to take in Michael but-" and he leaned over and fell on his back and as he was about to run Selene pounced on him and walked with him out of the room leaving me alone with the other sorcerers's when Nox looked over at the others and said "I sense power from every one of you...but power alone is not going to get you out of this" and Pogue spoke next saying "hey by the way If you guys came from Rome to deal with supernatural issues then why did you bring him and her? this seems like sorcerer issue" I nodded to the question.
"Because the metaphysical kills are based on their family speratic members of the vampiric community Alex, Aaron, Max, Alexis, Gabriel, Willow, danielle, cassie, shian," Caleb looked at me and said, "I think there seems to be be a bit confusion you see danielle,alexis,gabriel willow, are all sorcerers they were our sisters circle" and I widened my eyes and looked at nox who nodded "its true" and lightning storm thundered outside as if signally the exclamation point. I got up and walked into the hallway Selene and Michael were sitting back talking and I overheard them
saying something along the lines of "What do you mean they aren't related to you? You mean we are relying on strangers with our lives?" and I cleared my throat and Selene looked up at me and I said "that's something new to you? Anyone in a situation of life-saving is a stranger, you wouldn't trust your church with your soul, but not me?" and he looked down at I turned and looked at Selene "we have a bigger problem than you realize five of those murders that were committed were sorcerers, vampire, and sorcerer blood was spilled..." and She widened her eyes
"That means sorcerers were a point in this after all we need to get back to the mansion and arent Kraven" I put my black-tipped fingernails to my lip and said "Wait..if what you say is true about Lucien is true..and kraven is hiding something like this from us, then going to the mansion will only put everyone in danger you cant possibly think bringing these kids to the vampire estate is wise" and she pondored this and said "Yeah..we'll leave them without phone number" and
pogue stepped from the shadows and said "sounds you guys dont want our help?" and I shook my head side to side "rimarresti scioccato On the contrary..your probably going to be one of our big points if chase is involved and they are going to summon something really big..." and he nodded "excuse me?" and I nodded, "I said "you be shocked" in italian and he nodded "we understand we need to get back to the dorms we'll catch you all later" and I nodded.
Soon it was only me, Caleb, Selene, Michael, and Nox discussing. The first thing Selene said was "You know we can't leave you alone" I nodded and Nox said "If this is as big as I see coming Caleb they'll come for you guys next" Caleb was sitting around with a book in his hand and said "from what our handy book of damnation said vampires and werewolves can only mix with a specific donor but they dont see anything about a third how do you know they'll come to me IN

"If Selene and Michael go back with me its still going to be the pieces with me as I am a much more powerful sorcerer I think Selene you should stay here with Michael under Caleb's rule if you need to go back to the university dorms and hold down the fort" and he nodded "I'll go back to the mansion and talk to my family about what we've found" and they nodded and upon closing my eyes and pointing my hand to the sky I blinked and I was gone along with Nox.
