Lab statum-Egghead, The Island of the future!
On the Sunny
"The way I see it, when it comes to a government island, you gotta think about who's gonna be around to bail them out if they get caught."
Zoro sat down on the Thousand Sunny, feeling bad vibes from Vegapunk, or should I say Lilith.
"YOHOHOHO! I was thinking the same thing! Would you care for some tea?"
Brook said as he was sitting drinking tea on the floor. Zoro gave a slight nod as Brook poured tea into his cup. As they were drinking tea peacefully, someone emerged from the deck.
"Excuse me, sirs!"
Caribou said, panicking a little as he fell to his knees.
"You're still here?" Zoro said, giving him a glare.
Caribou who felt intimidated by this said
"No Hang on, just gimme a moment of your time! I know our deal was to drop me off anywhere away from Wano, but... I didn't think we'; be heading for a government island.." Caribou said panicking as he imagined the strawhats leaving him behind on a government island as he gets arrested for trespassing.
Zoro completely ignored this and didn't care at all, suddenly remembered something that happened in Wano.
"Oh yeah, I heard you helped out our captain. I appreciate it. See ya around."
Caribou began fuming silently, thinking "These jerks. I'll remember this! Just you wait and see"
Vegapunk's Lab
"WOAH!" Usopp said, completely flabbergasted as he was traveling on an escalator.
"THE STAIRS ARE MOVING"
"New steps are sprouting out of the ground? How is that possible?" Nami says, getting a little dizzy by the stairs moving.
"What kind of setup is this? How is it powered?" Franky wondered as he looked at Lilith for the answer.
"Oh well you could say, the whole island runs on fire." Lilith says, staring down at the Strawhats as they got closer to the lab entrance.
"After all, you can convert its power into any kind of energy."
"But doesn't that burn a lot of natural resources?" Franky replied, as in reality he was the only one listening while the others were fascinated by the stairs and the architecture of the lab from the outside.
"I'm always looking into alternative fuels."
She said as she reached the top of the escalator, and began walking towards the entrance door. The strawhats quickly followed right after her.
"If only there was such a thing as an eternal flame, then I'd be able to make my own sun."
"A SUN?!" Franky said, completely flabbergasted as he also saw Lilith walk through a wall.
As Lilith went inside the lab, she got a phone call from her headphones.
"Lilith! LILITH!" Said the person who called her.
Lilith continued to walk as the strawhats stood outside, confused on what to do.
"HEY OPEN UP!"
"Lilith-chan!"
Lilith clearly annoyed shouted
"STOP DILLY-DALLYING AND WALK THROUGH! YOU SHOULD NEVER LET YOUR OWN EYES DECEIVE YOU!" Lilith said as she then went back to talk with the person from the other line. "What is it, Edison?" She asked.
The strawhats were still outside, until Sanji decided to walk through the wall. The rest of the strawhats were still a little confused and worried but decided to follow him.
"We passed through too?" Robin said, looking back at the wall she just passed through. Usopp then wanted to experiment and decided to touch the wall again.
"Huh? No way? It turned back into solid metal." Usopp said as he began knocking on the wall.
"How the heck does this work?"
Franky and Sanji began walking down the hallway.
"So this is the lab?" Franky said, looking around the hallway as he saw "Punk" written on walls and "A 1000" with a cloud for the "0" for some reason.
Sanji, who couldn't care less, was looking for Lilith. "Lilith-chan! Where did you go?"
Then they suddenly hear a voice talking to them
"You guys can keep going dead ahead!"
"Who's that?" Sanji wondered, where the voice came from.
"Ah, I'm Vegapunk Edison. Howdy. Now just keep walking like I said."
The crew was oddly skeptical of this, but decided to follow his instructions and kept walking down the hall.
"Let's look for some future treasure!" Nami said with heart eyes, Usopp who was hearing this replied "future treasure? Like what?"
"Hmm, good question. Maybe like a follower made entirely out of exquisite antique gems!" Usopp was looking at her with a little skepticism. "What a weird fantasy. I can't tell if your taste is closer to a little girl or an old hag."
"FUTURE KICK!"
"GUAAHH SORRY" Usopp said, regretting speaking his mind as if he didn't have freedom of speech.
"Huh? What's happening?" Sanji said as all of the crew were witnessing a door labeled 04 opening
"What are you doing, here, JINBE?"
The door revealed a person who looked identical to Jinbe, but they had black wings with fire flaming from their back, brown skin, and also looked way younger than the real Jinbei.
"I don't think that's him. He looks too young." Robin replies as Usopp then says
"My first guess would be that he's his son maybe?" Nami kinda agreed on this replied "Yeah, but on second thought, maybe Jinbe somehow turned into a kid?"
"Nah, I'm going with option three. It's a coincidence!"
"I mean, the kid got wings. Although there's an ominous air about him" Sanji said as the Jinbe looking kid began standing up
"OUT WITH IT, WHO THE HECK ARE YOU?"
The Jinbe looking kid began standing in a fighting pose, it almost looked like he was about to charge
"HE MAY LOOK LIKE A KID BUT HES JUST AS BIG AS THE REAL JINBE" Said Franky who was completely shocked, but then said as he noticed the Jinbe looking kid having his hand out in a 90 degrees angle.
"I'VE GOT A BAD FEELING THERE'S A FOURTH POSSIBILITY, HE'S A PACIFISTA" Franky said as the Jinbe looking pacifista shot a laser beam at the strawhats.
"GYA!" Usopp said falling on his butt as he quickly got up and started running towards god knows where.
"THIS WAS ALL ONE GIANT TRAP, WE SHOULD'VE KNOWN THE GOVERNMENT WAS NEVER GONNA ROLL OUT THE RED CARPET FOR PIRATES"
Nami who began to stand up, took out her weapon Clima-tact
"Does that mean they're using a clone of Jinbe as a soldier?" She said, spinning the Clima-tact.
",... But still he's a kid, I really don't want to fight him" Nami said with a frustrated look on her face as her eyes fixated on the pacifista.
"Beep! Beep!" A faint sound coming from the pacifista, it was almost like it was being controlled. Right after that beep sound, the pacifista dived and began swimming into the ground, heading for Nami.
"Huh?" Nami said, shocked. "He got Devil Fruit powers?"
"What's going on?!" Nami said as she stood in a defensive position, with the pacifista beginning to swim towards her.
"Should I pop out Nami?" A voice from her Clima-tact asked.
"Not yet, Zeus!"
The pacifista began coming towards here faster and faster.
"HEY! I KNOW THAT ABILITY" Franky shouted as the pacifista emerged from the ground and held nami by her neck, chocking her.
Sanji, who witnessed this, couldn't just let it slide.
"THAT'S IT, YOU HUSTLE SIGNED YOUR OWN DEATH WARRANT" Sanji said as his foot literally lit on fire
"I DON'T GIVE A CRAP, WETHER YOU'RE JINBEI OR NOT" Sanji said as he ran towards the pacifista and kicked right in the face with his flaming foot.
The pacifista flew across the hallway, not even sparring a second, Robin attacks
"GIGANTE FLEUR" She shouted as a giant version of her appeared behind her back
"What he said! That was unforgivable." Robin said angrily as 6 giant hands were headed towards the pacifists.
"Sea serpent... SNAP-DRAGON SPANK" as it was just about to hit the pacifista, the pacifista dove into the ground and emerged infront of robin, the pacifista who made the ground swimable took some of the liquid metal he made with help from his devil fruit, and was just about to attack until Usopp stepped in
"GET OUT OF HERE, ROBIN!" Usopp says as he is just about to shoot
"So you can use Fishman-karate too" Usopp then says as he shoots
"Lethal Green Star! Skull Exploding Grass"
The bullet hit the pacifista right in his face, which created a smoke that looked exactly like a skull.
"I know this isn't Jinbe, but it still feels messed up." Usopp says as the smoke begins to clear.
"He's gone?" Usopp said as the pacifista was no where in sight, but that didn't last long as the pacifista emerged from a wall right behind him, he grabbed Usopp and began chocking him.
"Usopp!" Sanji said as he was just about to rush towards Usopp.
"I've got this Sanji! USOPP! Don't move a muscle" Franky said as he was aiming with his hands at the pacifista
"RADICAL!..." Franky said as his laser beam was charging up.
Suddenly a voice told the pacifista "DODGE IT, S-SHARK!"
"... BEAM" Franky said as he shot his laser beam at the pacifista creating an explosion.
Somewhere in the lab
"Howee"
A small robot-looking man with bunny ears was watching the fight.
"He just used a beam? Who in tarnation is this guy?" The little man said as he was rubbing his face like he was sweating.
"Told ya, they wouldn't hold back." A voice said through the headphones of the little man. The voice sounded like it was Senku
"Reckon! This is getting really risky."
"The Seraphim's still just a kid! We aren't mean to put it through laser tests till later!" Said the little man who had "03 Dr. Vegapunk Edison" labeled on his futuristic outfit.
"You said it," Lilith said angrily as she walked toward the screen, fuming at watching the smoke clear.
"Does he have any idea how much ONE seraphim costs?! I'll blast his skull off!"
The little man whose name is Edison, got a little intimated by her and accidently fell on the ground.
" Ow! I wouldn't go that far! Don't you think that's a bit too evil?" Edison said as he sat back up in his little "spot" where he would come up with new inventions.
"OH EUREKA! I HAVE JUST THOUGHT OF A NEW INVENTION" he said as he was looking for a piece of paper
" I'LL LEAVE THE REST TO YOU, PYTHAGORUS. I GOTTA WRITE DOWN THE BLUEPRINTS RIGHT AWAY." Edison said as he was flying with his little jet packs.
"My hands are always full! At this point, I'd even take help from a cat." Edison said as a cat who was walking on two legs followed him and began searching for a piece of paper.
"Remember not to rush, those crappy blueprints are bound to get programmed wrong by the engineers, just like our food machine." Senku said, plugging his ear as Bonney asked him who he was talking to.
"Shut up, I have so much to write my blood is practically boiling!"
The person known as Pythagoras replied to Edison
"Of course, You don't come across battle data this rich every day! This is a once in a lifetime opportunity. Let's get some input. Input. INPUT."
Pythagoras, who looked about 10 times bigger than Edison, had "04 Dr. Vegapunk, Pythagoras" written on his futuristic clothes. He himself also looked like a robot and had an antenna shaped like a leaf on his head.
Pythagoras who found the papers began to write down as fast as he could
"THE IDEAS WON'T STOP FLOWING! YORK, BE A DOLL AND EAT SOMETHING FOR ME" Edison said as he was talking through his headphones to a woman named York
"Sure thing!" York said as she began munching and eating delicious foods from the food machine.
"BRING SECONDS FOR DR. YORK" The Punk Assistants said as they carried tens of trays of food to her for her to eat.
With Pythagoras
"The seraphim's attack patterns have continued to develop as it grows! That may suggest that one's lineage factor really does store some of our recollection and capabilities" Pythagoras said as he was skimming through some papers about linage factors.
"Ooo ooo I know, we should try and accelerate their growth, although that presents new obstacles. Green blood concentration has risen and heart rate is up to 90 BPM!"
Suddenly Pythagoras feels his stomach rumbling. He really needs to take a number 2.
"AHHH! I REALLY NEED THE TOILET! I'D GO MYSELF, BUT I CAN'T AFFORD TO WASTE ANY TIME" Pythagoras said as he was stressing so much his head popped out of his body. But wait, his head had arms and legs as well!
"I'm glad I'm just a normal human" Senku said as he stopped plugging his ear.
The stress didn't last long though.
With York
"Ah man I really gotta poop" She said as she went to the toilet and made a number 2. a flushing sound came from the toilet as she stepped out
"That hit the spot!" Edison and Pythagoras both said at the same time, after that they began to get back to their work.
"Gotta punch something to help it digest!" Atlas the giant girl said as York went back to her usual spot.
"So sleepy" She said as she fell asleep on a cloud that was designed as a bed
"Dr. York is on todays 4th S.P.N cycle (snack- poop-nap)" the Vegapunk Assistants says as they begin to carry materials Pythagoras needs and also prepping for Edison's new experiment. They all head to simulation room 88
With the other strawhats
"That's enough seraphim, return" Said a tall man named Shaka. As he said that, the pacifista did as he ordered and returned to his chamber.
"Edison, Lilith, Pythagoras you three have had your fill too... right?" Shaka said as the crew couldn't move an inch, their feet were stuck to the ground "I can't move!" They all thought
"And I haven't forgotten about you Senku"
"Eh? But I didn't even do anything" Senku replied confused at what he meant, as Bonney seemed to be the only person noticing him talking to himself
"Your the one who demobilized patrol Punk 52"
"So what, it's not like we can't mobilize it again" Senku said picking his ear again
"That's not the point! You're not supposed to help pirates, matter of a fact no one is supposed to know you even exist!"
"Yea, yea whatever" He said as he stopped picking his ear and hit the mute button on his headphones, making him unable to hear the rest of the Vegapunks.
With the Vegapunks
"Awww what a shame." Pythagoras said as he watched the pacifista go back to its chamber.
"Of course that scoundrel butts in when things finally get good!" Lilith says shouting at the screen watching with Pythagoras.
"Eureka! Even Senku is getting scolded" Edison said a little frightened
"He had it coming, asking me out of nowhere to go down to the island. It really makes me mad!" Atlas says as she lands another punch to the space monster.
Back with the Crew
"I'm Dr. Vegapunk, Shaka. You guys must be the strawhat pirates?" Shaka says looking at the crew
"THATS US...! WHAT THE HELL DID YOU DO TO OUR SHOES? THEY'RE STUCK TO THE FLOOR, and who the hell is Senku?" Sanji says wiggiling trying to get the boots to move.
"Dom shoes can be magnetically disabled at any point while in the laboratory. And forget you ever heard of the name Senku " Shaka says givin then the glare that said "or else".
'What the hell? What are they hiding' Sanji thought as Usopp was screaming
"YEP I DON'T KNOW WHO SENKU IS, I MEAN I DON'T KNOW WHO EVER YOUR TALKING ABOUT IS, I swear I have never heard of that name in my life" Usopp says sweating as Shaka completely ignores this.
"So you're saying resistance is futile then...?" Robin says a little confused
" I know better than to let my guard down around pirates" Shaka says as he was about to leave until
"Wait, We've already met two Vegapunk! That woman and the other one on the speaker."
Shaka then looks at Usopp and says
"Yes, but I am also Vegapunk"
"Oh yeah, did I forget to mention I'm Vegapunk too...?"
"Would you cut it out?!" Franky says annoyed at Usopp, but oddly enough Shaka decides to ask a question
"Do you think this island looks like the future?"
Franky excitedly answers
"ITS BEYOND THE FUTURE! I MEAN JUST LOOKAT THOSE MECHA SEA BEASTS, THERES ALSO VEGA FORCE 01 AND THE ISLAND AIRCON TOO THIS IS AS FUTURISTIC AS IT GETS" Franky says completely fanboying this
"I've never seen anything like this place before" Usopp says scratching his chin
"FOR REAL! WHAT KINDA GOODIES ARE YOU MAKING HERE?! I WANNA TAKE A FULL TOUR TO TAKE IT ALL IN! THERES NO WAY YOU AND I WOULDN'T GET ALONG"
"It's quite the contrary, this is an Island of the past"
"HUH?"
With the Luffy
"Who the hell are you speaking to?" Bonney asked skeptically as Luffy, Chopper and Jinbe also kinda got curious at this question.
"Oh, with Vegapunk" Senku says unbothered as he walks towards some rubbles
"Wow that's so cool. but how are you taking with veggie when he isn't here" Luffy said looking around trying to spot Vegapunk
"VEGAPUNK? You know where he is? WHERE IS HE TELL ME" Bonney shouted at Senku which senku just responded by picking his ears
"Just follow me"
They all follow Senku and then suddenly in sight they see a giant robot.
"Check it out chopper! You can tell cause it's all rusted and stuff, that it's REAL metal and not just another holo-holo thingy, right green onion guy?" Luffy said excitedly as Chopper was stepping closer to look
"Woah!"
"What the heck? Could something like this really move" Bonney said completely flabbergasted
"If it could how is that level of tech possible, for something so ancient looking?"
"Beats me, that's what I'm trying to find out, the same with old man Vegapunk. Finding out how till take humanity into the next step of the future, Get exited!" Senku says looking at the giant robot.
With the other Straw hats
"What do you mean by ,past," Franky said as the rest of the straw hats including him are still glued to the floor
"That long ago there was once a highly advanced kingdom. A civilation 900 years ago, that even we today, can't figure out how their technology worked"
"900 YEARS AGO?!"
HEY GUYS, I wrote this in like one day.
This chapter is longer then usual, I felt like there was no point where I could stop. Who am I kidding, nah I just wanted to get to the point where Shaka tells the crew that egghead is an island from the past
if you are a little confused, Senku is wearing one headphones, like wearing one AirPods, but just that the headphones have an antena and they cover the whole ear. He does tis so he can keep picking one of his ears.
I have a really bad habit of saying "That name Said this as they fjejdjjdbs" ima try to fix it NEXT Chapter
