Cut to him walking into the Command Center of The Bus where Skye is.
Coulson: Skye, please tell me something good.
Skye: We have internet.
Peter: yayy internet. -saractically-
Skye: Lifesaver honestly
Coulson (sarcastically): Yay. And, boy, have I lowered my expectations.
some of them laugh slightly
Skye: But all H.Q. support systems are gone.
Coulson: Well then, the internet it is. Find everything you can on our team, all personal records, photos, anything that proves we exist – then erase it.
Natasha: Your really going for the pretending you dont exist thing.
Skye: Yeah he was. Which was a good idea to keep the president off our ass.
Steve: Dont want to go bad with the president. -sarcastic voice-
Skye has begun working on the holotable but she looks up at his last part.
Skye: Uh, that's kind of the nuclear option.
He turns and comes back into the room.
Coulson: It's our only option. Every government agency in the world will be on our ass. We need to vanish.
Skye: Okay, but...once that's done, it can't be undone. We'll be ghosts. Not agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., just agents of...nothing.
Peter: Agents of nothing it is.
Skye: My mind went blank then so. i didnt know what to say that was the best thing.
He says nothing, just turns and walks to exit the room again.
Skye: What about Ward? Have you heard from him? He and Agent Hand should have dropped Garrett off at The Fridge by now.
natasha: Yous didnt know did you?
May: No we were falling for a trap. something i dont do often
Once again Coulson walks back into the room.
Coulson: Not yet.
He hands her the cellphone Hand gave to him.
Coulson: Here, give him a call. Hearing how Garrett settled into his tiny, windowless permanent home might actually cheer me up. When you're finished, collect everyone's badges. It's no longer something we want to flash around.
Peter: Yeah you'll probably be arrested if they find out or something.
This time he is able to walk out of the room.
Cut to the cockpit, May is at the controls and Coulson enters.
Coulson: Any sign of Talbot's forces?
May: Not yet, but we've only got 8 hours of flight time before we have to land.
Coulson: No more than four, fuel line's leaking
May looks at him surprised.
May: Want to tell me where we're going?
Coulson: I don't know.
Clint: Sure you dont.
Coulson: I actually didn't. I just needed us out of the air before it goes pew.
Skye: No its more bang. not pew.
Coulson: Nope its pew.
Skye: Whatever you say A.C
Coulson: I thought we were over you calling me that
Skye: Never
He walks back out and May rolls her eyes.
Bucky: You look so done with him.
May: You wouldnt?
Steve: You seem over eveything all the time.
Natasha: It's May.
Cut to a monitor with Ward's S.H.I.E.L.D. information displayed. Among other things are bank account, military record, S.H.I.E.L.D. training records, his birth certificate and education records. Skye is working the controls of the holotable doing as Coulson said. She lifts the phone, dials then puts the phone to her ear and it rings.
Natasha: This is a bad idea.
Skye: We didnt know yet so. I wish i never told him what we were doing or where we were going or where we are. Ngl. He was the mistake that stuck with me.
Cut to another cellphone ringing, it was sitting on top of what look like building plans that Garrett is looking over. Ward picks up the phone as Garrett gives it a wondering look.
Ward: It's Coulson.
Garrett: By all means.
He answers and puts the phone to his ear. We can see other men moving around in the room, they look like they're in some sort of underground bunker or wine cellar.
Sam: Are they in a wine cellar?
Skye: wouldnt be surprised.

Ward: Sir?
Cut to Skye.
Ward: Is everything all right?
Skye smiles at hearing his voice.
Wanda: AWEE You're in love. Maybe not a good choice of people but. you're in love.
Skye: Yeah.
Skye: Hey, it's me. I just wanted to let you know that –
Cut back to Ward.
Skye: Grant Ward no longer exists.
Peter: That would confuse the hell out of me. you gave him no context before that.
Shuri: Real.
Simmons: Skye always starts conversations with random things.
Fitz: Some crazy, some weird, some stupid and some sad.
Simmons: its the humour she jokes about trauma.
Skye: Not gonna mope over it am i? rather joke about it
He gets a confused look.
Ward: You want to explain that, Skye?
Garrett's eyebrows lift in shock when he hears her name.
Skye: Some trigger happy Colonel threatened to pay The Hub a visit.
Cut back to Skye.
Skye: Coulson had us evacuate before he could lock us all up. Now I'm scrubbing our I.D.s while Coulson figures out our next move.
While she speaks we watch all the data on Ward be deleted.
Ward: Makes sense.
Cut to Ward.
Ward: Agent Hand picked up some Navy jets in the vicinity.
Wanda: He is just bold face lying
Rhodey: Spitting lies like theres no tomorrow.
Sam: He is too good of a liar.
Skye: Thats how we didn't know. you wouldn't guess agent grant ward.
Garrett has taken a seat in the barber chair and is listening in with interest.
Ward: She has us taking the long route to The Fridge just to be safe.
Skye: Wow.
Cut back to Skye.
Skye: You took that surprisingly well.
Cut back to Ward.
Skye: Did you hear the part about you no longer existing?
Ward: Well, it's not the first time my identity's been compromised. You have any idea where Coulson's has us headed?
Shuri: He is giving clues on him being hydra but nobody is taking them. and when he finds out where your headed who knows what's gonna happen.
Bucky: Probably swarm the place
Fury: Probably manipulate them.
cut back to Skye.
Skye: No idea. I'll keep you posted.
Rhodey: Please dont.
Tony: Never call him back
Simmons: I wish we thought everything through before hand
Cut back to Ward.
Ward: Good.
Cut back to Skye.
Ward: I'll catch up with you when I can.
Skye: And when I see you next, who you gonna be?
Steve: Why do people like changing their identities? -looks straight at Natasha-
Natasha: Makes life so much easier.
tony: What is your real name Natashlie? I wanna know
Natasha: One stop calling me that ive already told you. and my real name isn't any of your business.
Tony: What about you Skye, whats your real name?
Skye: I dont know. My real name was never told to me. i got given a name at the orphanage i first went to. it was stupid.
Cut back to Ward, he smiles.
Skye: You got a clean slate. You can be anyone you want.
Ward: I don't know. Maybe...Tom Brady.
Peter: Why Tom Brady?
Sam: Thats exactly what im thinking
Cut to Skye, she smiles at his joke.
Ward: I always wanted to play quarterback.
Skye: And date supermodels, you are so predictable.
Cut back to Ward who's smiling too.
Ward: No, I mean the guy seems -
Cut to Skye.
Ward: to have things pretty worked out.
Wanda: And he doesnt have anything worked out.
Skye: Be careful.
Cut back to Ward.
Ward: You too.
He hangs up the phone. Garrett has been hanging on every word of his conversation.
Garrett: Tom Brady? You hate the Patriots.
He turns and faces Garrett.
Ward: The Agent Grant Ward she knows doesn't.
Tony: He is literally living two lives.
Natasha: Its what spies do. They live alot of different lives.
Steve: You have?
Natasha: Yeah.
Tony: I guess we will never know the real you then
Natasha: This is the real me.
Tony: Okayyyy.
He walks past a chuckling Garrett.
Garrett: Yeah, that straight version of you is something else. I don't even think Romanoff could pull that one.
Natasha: Rude! i could.
Clint: Theres a lot of things you can do people dont know.
Natasha: Shut up clint.
Ward: Well, it wasn't without its complications.
Steve: What does he mean by that?
Natasha: Nobody knows seems like.
Skye: No
Garrett: Oh, come on.
He scoffs and stands up.
Garrett: You're not still upset about that.
Ward: Shooting Skye was not part of the plan.
Natasha: Oh.
Wanda: He really was in love with you.
Skye: Yeah. I wouldnt ever want it to happen again.
Peter: This just got sad.
Garrett: Near zero contact, that was the deal going in. Though, your tip about the cellist came in handy. If you had a thing for the girl you should have contact me. I would have asked for your blessing.
Vision: He seems crazy.
Skye: He is. Very.
Coulson: He went mental mental.
Fury: He went proper crazy if you ask me.
Ward: Don't play your games with me. This isn't a joke.
Garrett: You don't have to tell me. Your little candy crush was on Centipede's tail long before she was recruited by S.H.I.E.L.D. Seemed like a good person to eliminate. My bad.
He shrugs it all off as Ward deeply sighs.
Garrett: Listen, if the job was easy, it wouldn't –
Instead of finishing the saying Ward says something else.
Ward: Yeah, the job was to blend in, gather intel on Coulson's revival. That's it. You said yourself you didn't want any bloodshed.
Garrett: That was before I found out Coulson didn't know squat. You know, you would've had an easier time if I gave the kill order week one.
skye: Hearing that i feel like ive been being stalked. He knew who i was before i joined SHIELD thats creepy.
Simmons: Very Creepy.
Peter: He looks like a gone off peanut.
Skye laughs at this
Ward: Yeah. But you didn't.
He steps in closer to Ward.
Garrett: The girl I get, she's cute.
Skye; I'm flattered.
FitzSimmons laugh at what Skye says.
Garret: But don't forget what the assignment was. Don't forget who gave it to you and don't forget why. And cheer up!
He claps his hands on Ward's shoulders.
Garrett: We're close, closer than ever.
He turns Ward and leads him away.
