One night ,
I was in the bed lying next to my one day boyfriend
How nice would it be if he is mine or i am his
But I can't, i need to make an living
And he has a wife and two daughters.
He has to return to his happy family
I know his wife must be worried for him for not returning the night.
But damm he is tiring , his phone rang
He woke up ,
His wife's name came on the screen
He thought must be an emergency so he picked up
He told me to be quiet , and he answered
Hello he said with a clear voice
A little voice was heard
It was his baby girl
She was saying : daddy pls come home
I love you , cupcake loves u daddy
He asked where is mommy ?
Mommy is sleeping she has fever daddy

He hangs up the phone and took a quick shower and got changed into his clothes
And he grabbed his phone, took his wallet and gave me 500 cash and told me to go home if i didn't have any clients
And he told me : i will call u back in few days dolly , we will meet again soon ok
I said : ok sure
He rushed out the door and took his car and drove off
I was sitting there with 500 cash in my hands thinking what to get for myself to eat .
Then i remembered i have another client
Shoot ! I got ready and put my makeup on and got ready .
I think makeup is created to cover our sadness and hide our tears .

Dalia oh dalia dear come down for breakfast pls aunt saw calling out from downstairs kitchen.
I am coming ! I said
Dalia : aunt egg toast again uh ?!!!!!
Aunt : dalia dear this is all i have left from the kitchen. I need to buy grocery later
Dalia : oh ok then sure
Aunt : did your dad call you dear ?
Dalia : nope and i don't want to talk about him please
Aunt : i just wanted to know dear

Dalia : oh umm ok here you go aunt some cash to take grocery
Aunt : dalia i don't really need it, i have cash
Dalia : pls aunt after all u have done for me

The night that he left to see his wife ,
His wife was unconscious and fainted on the floor .
The baby were crying in a corner and the toddler girl was lost to do anything
The toddler was the one who spoke on the phone .
The baby was crying and crying .
He rushed his wife to the hospital immediately
And the doctor told him she has cancer
Stage 3 .
He was shattered and heart broken
He didn't want to lose his wife
He thought about the kids , that he alone must grow them up .
He and his wife went through the cancer treatment and he did took care of his kids
He still came and meet me
When he wanted to
Few years later kids grew up
Into teenage girls
He became bitter after his wife disappearance .
I grew up to be a strong woman
I was no more the girl who earned peanuts

A woman asked me help to let her hide in my house .
A woman who's hair is messy and had scars on her Palm of her hands and her eyes were red and watery and her legs had Stripes .
At first i didn't understand but later on i realised she was his wife
At that moment i understand that he lived very close to my house actually that i didn't notice.
I looked at her and understood that she was hungry for food after she stole a packed of bread from my kitchen
I offered her some food and let her shower in my bathroom.
She wasn't wearing good clothes
So i gave her mine .
She look happy and comfortable
I talked to her about her life
All i remember of what she told me is
Please save my daughters

I knew that i had too save them .
The youngest is in high school
And the older one is working
I went to pick the youngest from school
That was easy
The older one came and had coffee with me
And i told her i saved her mom
And i am gonna save her and her sister
She told me everything i needed to know
Everything about what had happened to her mom and dad over the years
She told me
Mom survived the cancer but she had mental health issues after surviving from the cancer
And her dad gave up on her mom .
The reason why her mom suffered from mental health is that dad brought another woman to the house
Saying she will be taking care of the kids and the chores
But ended up sleeping together
Every night
Her mom saw this and confronted him but
He abused her as she started questioning him
I said : i am sorry to hear that but trust me ok
I will keep the 3 of you save
She asked me : why are u actually saving us ?
I told her : because i had too
I arranged to moved out of the town as soon as i knew he was just living down the streets.
Few years later ....................
Dalia mom passed away and i took care of those kids .
The shocking part was he never came and looked for his kids not even once .

Dalia took breakfast and left for work,
She came back at night.
Dalia : Aunt did u went and take grocery ?
Aunt : yes dear
Dalia : is my little sister home from college?
Aunt : yea she is upstairs taking a shower
Dalia : whats cooking?
Aunt : some tomato soup and garlic bread with some roasted chicken

Aunt : for cooking dinner? Your welcome dear
