Jeonghan barged into the house greeting a sleeping Chow who woke up on Mrs. Boo's lap on the couch.
"Whatdoido?!Whattheheckiswrongwithme?!I'msuchanidoit!!WhydidIdothat?!Soembrassing!!!AAA..." Jeonghan spoke without taking a single breath as he collapsed on the ground beside Mrs. Boo looking for consoling from her.
"Come again, Dear? I didn't understand a single word you just said. Maybe try breathing in between your sentences?" Mrs. Boo closed her book chuckling.
"Cheol just told me he liked me."
"Oh?!"
"Yeah..."
"Oh my! That's great! You don't have to worry about telling him anymore! Tell me, did you look into his eyes as he leaned into a kiss?" Mrs. Boo's eyes sparked with a grin as she fangirled.
"Well, as you can see, I left in a panic and I'm now lying on the floor while a cat slowly suffocates me."
Chow had jumped off Mrs. Boo's lap and curled onto Jeonghan's chest.
"Wait, does that mean..." Mrs. Boo's imagining turned to dust.
"I told him I wanted time to think about it. That's the smart thing to do, right?"
"A little boring but sure, you do you." Mrs. Boo sighed.
"Better boring than just jumping in without thinking it though."
I just hope you don't get too caught up in thinking that you forget to enjoy the moment. What are you worried about anyway? You like each other!"
"Ugh, where do I even start? Chan, our careers, our relationships, our sexuality, the list just goes on... Like, how do we go forward from here on out?"
"Then why don't you just tell him all that? The answers to those questions shouldn't be coming from one person, y'know? Even if you take weeks to figure it out, your perfect approach might not sit well with him. Tell him everything, all our doubts and worries. When it's all laid out on the table, it'll be easier to sort it out together."
"O-Okay. I'll try." Jeonghan sat up.
"Yep, I heard that from the drama I just finished! Just remember, when everything starts slowing down and Cheol is suddenly sparking, that's when you kiss!"
"Clearly, someone's been watching too many TV shoes."
"Let me have thus, you're already living your own romance."

"Why do I always end up like this with you?" Mingyu asked hiding under the blanket beside Soonyoung after f-ing him.
"You're making it sound like it's my fault. I gave you one look, and you were all over me." Soonyoung rolled his eyes.
"This bedroom is cursed!"
"Nah, pretty sure it's us. But I wanna make sure we're still on the same page here... All this, it's casual, okay? No feelings involved."
"Yeah, I'd prefer that too."
"True, it's too much of a hassle." Soonyoung stared at the ceiling.
"Yeah, I'm tired of things being so complicated. It's better like this. And then there's your brother. Come on, we shouldn't stay too long here." Mingyu sat up.
"Yeah, let's go."

Mingyu drove Soonyoung in front of Jeonghan's house as he looked outside the window. "The lights are out. I think he's already asleep."
"Oh man, Hyung's gonna kill me." Soonyoung sighed.
"Good luck, I'll probably stay out of his sight for a few days." Mingyu chuckled. "By the way, what you said about Han, don't worry too much about it. Even though white lies aren't totally a good thing... She shouldn't have involved you in the first place. If what she has to say is really that important, she'll just have to find another way. It's your right to refuse to be involved in it."
"Thanks, Mingyu. That helps a lot." Soonyoung smiled biting his finger to calm himself down. "Look, even though it's a little weird between us. I think you're pretty cool. I still hope we can be friends."
"Pfft—Aren't we already friends though?"
"Eh?"
"I mean, you punched my face, I threatened to get you arrested and then we had sex. Pretty solid friendship if you ask me."
"Hahahaha! Right!"

The next morning at Seungcheol's house.
"You're up early for someone who came home late last night." Seungcheol walks into the kitchen without a top flashing his toned muscles and abs unintentionally wanting to kill a few readers of this book.
"Cheol! Good Morning!" Mingyu beamed cooking.
"What's cooking? It smells really good."
"Breakfast for Chan, you can have a little too."
"You really want that best Uncle spot, huh?"
"Yeah, also to make you for not so-great first meeting. I want to make every moment with him count from now on." Mingyu smiled wholeheartedly. "I've already missed out on a lot... Oy, you listening?"
"Mhmm?" Seungcheol broke out of his daze.
"I said I want to spend time with Chan. I'll do the babysitting today if that's okay. I already have the whole day planned out."
"O-Oh... Actually..." Seungcheol scratched his head. "I promised his Grandma that I'd take him back this morning. I was gonna drive him home before work."
"W-What? No fair!" Mingyu's planes were ruined. "When is he coming back?"
"Next week probably."
"I'll be too busy packing by then!" Mingyu whined. "What if we bring him back later in the afternoon? Just give me today, please? Dude, I don't know when'll be back! What if I take another decade?!"
"Video calls are a thing you know?" Seungcheol raised an eyebrow.
"It's not the same!"
"So dramatic... Let's try calling his Grandma first, okay?" Seungcheol gave in.
"Yeah..."
RING! RING! RING!
Seungcheol called getting no response. "It's unattended."
"Oh well, she probably wouldn't mind if were a little late. Seungcheol sighed. "I'll just leave her a message."
"Papa?" Chan trotted into the kitchen rubbing his eyes.
"Good morning, Chan!" Mingyu left everything bending down to Chan's height.
"Huh?" Chan blinked.
"Do you remember me?" Mingyu asked smiling.
"Puppy Uncle from the adoption? Papa's friend."
"Yep! You can all me Uncle Mingyu." Mingyu pointed at himself.
"Papa told me you were friends back when he was as small as me! And you'd go on adventures and play games!" Chan exclaimed.
"That's right! We can do that today If you want."
"Woah! Really?"
"Yeah! I'll show you all the cool places and teach you the games we used to play."
"Papa, can I go?" Chan asked.
"Yeah, Uncle Mingyu will babysit you today." Seungcheol smiled.
"Yay!"
