I looked at Jay, smiling brightly. I kissed his muzzle. He smiled up at me and gave me a lick on the cheek. I laughed joyously. "Jay!"

"We best get all the injured pack members and warriors to the hospital." Joseph spoke up.

"Alpha, we can help...If you will allow us.." the young warrior spoke up.

Joseph nodded, smiling. "Thank you, young man. That would be a big help greatly appreciated."

The warrior nodded and spoke to the others with him. They all then scattered, walking over to different areas, looking for pack members and warriors who needed help.

Joseph turned to Kian. "Are you alright, Kian?"

"I'm ok, Joseph. I'm just worried about Elisa and the baby..." my brother looked down, a worried look on his face.

Joseph smiled, putting his hand on his shoulder. "Go, Kian. Go find them. Make sure they're all alright. Elisa, Evelyn, Janie, and the others."

Kian smiled brightly. "Yes! Thank you, Joseph! I'll mind-link you as soon as I got some info." With that, my older brother ran off. I chuckled a little as I watched his retreating figure.

Joseph then walked over and knelt down beside Jay and I. "Are you both alright?"

"I'm ok." I nodded slowly. Jay whined in pain but nodded slowly. I frowned and gently scratched behind his ear, trying to comfort him.

Joseph frowned, gently and carefully examined his shoulder. "I don't think it's wise for him to be moving...At least in wolf form. Jay, do you think you're able to shift back?" Jay looked away from Joseph a moment, looking hesitant. His eyes seemed to glaze over. I assume he was talking to Bolt, his wolf. Finally, he looked up and nodded slowly. Joseph looked at me. "He mind-linked me. He says it will be painful and difficult, but it can be done. Hopefully it won't harm his shoulder anymore than it already is."

I frowned, nodded slowly, petting Jay's back slowly. This honestly made me nervous. But, it had to be done. How else was he supposed to get to the hospital? I took a deep breath before letting it out, calming my nerves. He was gonna be fine...I hope...

I quickly stood up and hurried to a clump of bushes, taking a pair of pants that was hidden there. I hurried back and set them down, before kneeling beside him. "Go ahead, Jay. But be careful and take it slow...Don't hurt yourself, please."

He smiled and nodded, nuzzling my face a little. I smiled and backed up, turning around to give him privacy. "Gah!" he exclaimed.

My eyes were wide. "Jay? Are you alright??" I asked quickly.

"I'm ok...My shoulder just hurts...I'll be fine...Jeez, that alpha really gave me a beating..."

I chuckled a little, feeling proud he actually managed to fight him and give him a good beating. "You gave him a good beating too, my love."

"She's right, Jay. You did." Joseph replied.

"You can turn around, Elena." I nodded and slowly turned around. I took in his shirtless appearance. I was really distracted though by his shoulder. It looked bad.

I walked over and hugged him, being careful of his injured arm. "I love you, Jay...I am so glad you're alright.."

"I love you too...I'm glad you're alright too, beauty..." Jay whispered into my ear.

I smiled, enjoying having my mate in my embrace. However, we weren't like that very long. At that moment, Vicky screamed out Alec's name. I had almost forgotten about them in all the chaos....

I turned in their direction and gasped. Alec lay in Vicky's arms, motionless. He was still in his full form, his power radiating off of him. Jay, Joseph, and I hurried over and knelt down beside them. He looked like his breathing was labored, but at least he was breathing. So, he was alive.

"We need to find Kiera and the others." I spoke quickly but firmly. "Joseph, can you take Jay to the hospital? I will find them."

Joseph nodded and was about to say something but my stubborn mate interrupted. "What?? No, Elena-"

"No, Jay. You need to get that shoulder taken care of. Now." I spoke firmly.

He sighed. "Fine." he grumbled. Joseph chuckled before walking away, Jay following close behind.

I chuckled a little before looking at Vicky. She looked alright, aside from a head wound and some bruises. "Elena, I'm scared..." Vicky looked up at me. I could see the fear in her eyes. Tears rolled down her cheeks.

"Don't worry. It'll be alright. I won't leave you." I spoke gently. I stood up and backed up. "Misty, take control. We need to let Kiera, Kallan, Ash, Elanor, and Rosalie know we need them." I told my tiger. Misty nodded and quickly took control before shifting. She let out a loud, powerful roar. Hopefully they heard it and will come find us....

It wasn't long before our friends came hurrying over. I shifted and took back control from Misty. I sighed in relief at the sight of them. Kiera reached us first. She was holding her very dizzy and dazed mate's hand. "What's wrong??" she asked quickly.

"It's Alec." I said urgently. By this time, Rose and Ash had arrived, hovering in the air. Their wings were actually kinda pretty, not gonna lie. But, that's not important right now. What is important, is Alec.

Kiera and Jeff knelt down beside Alec and Vicky. Kiera frowned as she examined him. By now, Kallan and Elanor had come. Rose and Ash landed and stood close beside their friends.

"Is he ok..?" Vicky asked, her voice shaky.

"I don't know...It's hard to tell...I've never seen anything this bad." Kiera said softly.

Vicky shook her head and looked up at Elanor. "You have healing powers, don't you?? Maybe you can heal him!"

Elanor's eyes were wide. "Um...I-I don't know...I've never tried to heal a vampire before.."

"Please, Elanor...?" Vicky pleaded the elf girl.

Elanor frowned and looked at Ash, who gave her a reassuring smile. "You can do it, firefly. Just do your best."

The girl nodded slowly before walking over to us. "You might want to step back, Vicky...Kiera..." Vicky looked down at Alec before nodding hesitantly. She gently laid Alec down on the grass. Elanor gave the two a small, reassuring smile. "I promise I'll be gentle. I'll be careful..."

Vicky and Kiera nodded, standing up and walking over to me. I hugged them tightly before letting Jeff take Kiera in his arms.

At that moment, Kallie, Robert, Lily, and Ben came running up to us, their eyes wide. "What's going on? Is he alright?" Robert asked.

"We don't know yet..." I answered quietly as I continued to hold my friend.

 "What happened, Vicky...?" Kallie asked.

"He-he insisted upon leaving the basement we were hiding in...I turned my back for one second and he was gone! I followed him and...We joined the fight....He did so well...But it was too much for his body to take, I guess...He just collapsed and-and he wouldn't wake up..." Vicky cried. "I should've been harder on him...I should have told him to go back...But I wanted to fight as much as he did..."

"Hey, hey, it's ok...Don't blame yourself, Vicky...Please...It's not your fault..." Lily spoke up, walking over. Kallie followed close behind her. "He'll be ok...I'm sure of it..." Kallie and Lily gave small smiles before joining our hug.

We all watched as Elanor took a deep, nervous breath before letting out. She knelt down and placed her hand on Alec's chest. We watched in awe and shock as a greenish-gold glow formed around her hand on Alec's chest. The glow soon engulfed the vampire boy's body as Elanor opened her eyes. I stared in surprise. Her eyes were glowing a greenish-gold color! As she opened her eyes, the glow became so bright, we shielded our eyes, looking away.

When the glowing finally stopped, Elanor was still kneeling beside him, panting. He was still unconscious, but he was back in his normal form. "I think...I think he'll be ok...He'll need a lot of rest and care..." Elanor spoke softly, turning to us. "He should awaken soon..."

Kiera and Vicky smiled brightly, hurrying over. Jeff chuckled as Kiera pulled him along. The three knelt down, Vicky taking Alec in her arms once more. She placed a gentle kiss on his pale forehead. Tears rolled down her cheeks as she smiled at him.

Ash smiled and walked up to Elanor, taking her in his arms. "I'm proud of you, my little firefly...I never doubted you once...I knew you could do it..."

"I didn't completely heal him...My power...it's stronger than I thought it was and I did more than I thought possible but..."

"Hey, it's ok, Elanor..." Rose spoke up, walking over. She put her hand on her friend's shoulder. "You might not have fully healed him but that's alright. Who knows? Maybe it's impossible to fully heal a vampire. They are unique and powerful creatures. Much different than elves."

"Rose is right. We're grateful for what you did do...You did a lot...He's gonna be alright..." Kiera spoke up, looking up at Elanor.

 Elanor smiled. "Thank you.."

I smiled at them all as I watched this scene unfold. I was proud of Elanor too. She never did seem like she had much confidence in her ability. She never did seem like the strongest elf. But, she just proved that she most definitely is not weak. She's strong and she's powerful. Elanor is for sure, an amazing elf.
